Knowing that my mother was Protestant, the girl of Catholic faith informed me of this “news” … and then she smiled … and said, “But I didn’t believe him.”
When she said those words … I felt emotionally close to her. And to this day … because we didn’t allow religion to come between us … we are still friends.
Religion divides people into self-perceived righteous fighters … and what divides cannot unite. And what cannot unite … from my perspective … cannot be truth.

On a positive note, i hear that mosques are closing down all over Iran (50,000 in 2023 alone, apparently) due to low/zero attendance - as noted in the interview, the ideology upon which the regime is founded is crumbling.
