This fight was absolutely f**king grueling. Ran out of Dis-Charms halfway through the fight, but I had Power (the persona) at a high level to block gunshots, slashes, and blessings, so I was able to survive the attrition war. Good lord I never wanna do that fight again, lol.
Unless both MC and Yukari constantly get charmed, you should always be able to Patra the next acting member and just Dis-Charm them. I think I only used 4 Dis-Charms and Patra'd the rest within a turn. It's always helpful to see which member is acting next, so you can plan for their act. Most of the time, people just cure ailments in a random order and they keep getting debuff'd by enemies.
@@inplane9970I must have the worst luck then because those were the 2 people getting charmed for me lol; especially yukari. I didn't have a persona that could cure charm at the time so that made it worse since I had to mainly depend on her so my dis-charms wouldn't run out right away. Only died once thanks to the heartbreaker move, but this was not a fun boss for me lol.

First time playing Persona 3 here. I had no idea how much charm spam this boss was going to do. Managed to beat it first try on hard without too many issues but went through about 10 items to remove charm. I'm going through the first playthrough mostly blind and it's been great so far except for this boss. When I saw his 1.5k heal I almost shit my pants thinking ok is this going to be his regular move going forward 😅
@@Nyxo1000plus when your teammates are charmed, they can give the boss buffs. Akihiko gave the boss an accuracy/evasion buff 3 times in a row and I almost rage quit lol. Ended up dying the first try anyway and got it the second time luckily

this fight was such a pain in the asss, i spend like 20 patras and gems to quit the manipulation, almost died before kill the mf but akihiko double tap fortunetly
I beat it on my 2nd try. Had to rewind. Pick up +resist charm accessories from the police station. And I brought a high physical stat persona with counter, +crit chance and +slash damage. Excellent fight honestly lol. Despite how annoying it was. I'm glad it challenged me.
I just played this fight, and i've been ignoring junpei since akihiko and mitsuru were available. Is he always pissed at the end of this scene or is it a player choice that made it like this? Or is he forced to sit out of this? I didn't even attempt to bring him with me.
I coudnt get anywhere on this fight. I feel like i didn't have enough revive and charm items. I ended up cheesing it. If you put this on auto-fight the lover will keep giving the MC health until the boss is eventually beaten. took about 15 minutes, but you can go do something else while it plays out
Nope. I used Junpei instead of Akihiko and he still gets mad. Which is some great gameplay-story segregation because my whole party was just healing off the charm, so only the slowest member, Junpei, got to do any damage at all
@@Optimatum I see, thanks for clearing that up. I knew his insecurity was always part of the story but I thought that if he actually participated in this fight, something would change
No, Junpei was a trooper in my run. I ran out of dis-charms and Junpei and I were able to kinda brute force the charmed heals the boss was doing. Power also helped too to block damage for the MC.
Thank god I had a resist charm on MC. I died to this boss once because it managed to charm every single one of the party and they straight up killed each other.
Real question is, does it still take like a week of grinding to beat the Sleeping Table? Probably not, I mean that fight was mostly impossibru because of how limited the AI was and it was basically over when Yukari died and Akihiko went from debuffs to pitiful healing.
Moon bosses are way harder than tartarus bosses now. I'm at like floor 140 so i can't tell if every boss is easier (btw, there are floors with 2 gatekeepers in a row and i think they're still easier than moon bosses)

This battle sucked. Constantly getting charmed lol. I am glad I picked some Dis-Charms along the way in tartarus...
In this remake I never thought that some characters have some particular voices (ex. the lovers shadow has a suave voice)
it was a cool run
I love that Yukari’s theurgy gauge fills up to max instantly when you start the boss fight.
