151 has brought so many people back to pokemon card collecting that I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes the new base set for the modern age. It'll probably explode in price 20 years from now when nostalgia for 151 sets in
@@2Balendin2 Everyone I talked to said 151 brought them back and so many parents are opening 151 with their kids so the potential for this set to skyrocket once those kids grow up and look back on their childhood
@@Onerandomguy1 yeah and most of the people who're being brought back are in their 30-40s so when they retire they'll probably need a new hobby and it might well be collecting again (30+ years time.)
Crown zenith is one of my favorite sets, those gold cards are criminally undervalued right now which is why it makes it such a good set to invest in as it’s still fairly cheap!
Paradox Rift SIR's are slept upon... The IRON FREAKING VALIANT SIR on that set is cool asf! It also includes other Future paradox pokemons! (Adds to its majesty)
i think the problem with PR is that well a lot of the pokemon aren't that great in terms of being "favourites" and they're unlikely to make a return (as they're just alternate forms of other mons)

Decided to get a japanese bubble mew in a psa 10. It has extra texture, the text doesn’t cover the bellsprouts eyes, and costs around the same as a raw english copy. Definitely an underrated card

I started getting into pokemon because I wanted to have something that I could relate to my younger brother with. He is 12 years young than I am, but he still my best friend. I feel pokemon helped us get along when we were very different. Tetapagos is such an awesome card.
Pulling bubble mew was actually how I got back into Pokemon after 15 years now, been 1 months and I’ve already spent over $1000 on Pokemon unfortunately
I’m really excited about the PC Magneton promo. It’ll be my first ETB and I started noticing TCG when I saw the Shinji Kanda Giratina card. I couldn’t believe how beautiful the art looked. Now I collect his illustrations, just got a Giraffarig from Masquerade. I don’t care that it’s a common, it’s so beautiful!
Interesting to me to see how much better they did with the stellar rainbow concept. I think they greatly upped their game in scarlet and violet artwork over sword and shield.
In the 151 series the master ball cards are already a big thing in the japanese market and the booster boxes also. The SAR cards from that set are increasing too. The base set booster box was insane that from $15k went up to 50k in 2 year. Nice video :)
I agree that the Charizard ex is going to hit big in the future. It’s such a cheap price right now and I know it was kinda affected by easier pull rates and just an overlooked set comparable to Darkness Ablaze.

i havent seen this channel but it is worth subbing to, as a child i collected fates collide, steamsiege, evolutions and did 4 packs of guardians rising. now iam getting back at cracking packs again after a 7 years and get nice cards, started with stellar crown and now iam looking for paradise dragona.

Anyway, I’m late to this video, but I just want to say that this Magneton is a masterpiece, and would be sad if it doesn’t get to the top 10 of the Gen 9 era (I know it’s too much, but this card deserves it). And another card that deserves more, is the Terapagos, since the artwork is as detailed as the Magneton (even though I prefer the Magneton).

I pulled the Terapagos SIR and had no idea what to do with it, if I should get it graded, and what to start collecting again and this really helped! The collection is pretty small right now but hoping to build it up more with surging sparks!
Masterballs to the moon 📈 I think temporal forces and paradox rift are being slept on, when packs start to become scarce the hits will jump up and crown zenith I have no doubts whatsoever will be huge in a few years, I personally will be putting aways as much sealed as I can
Yes, I definitely believe in the Crown Zenith singles. I think the set is so slept on right now because of the high print run. It will skyrocket at any point.

This is a really interesting list!!! I will definitely keep a look out for a lot of these; I've only recently started collecting again, I have some "bulk" from 1999 that i don't know what to do with (no 1st edition base set unfortunately), but a lot of the first and second generation cards. I just got some Stellar Crown hoping to build up my collection slowly! A card/Pokemon I feel like may have potential for growth is Zeraora, as there are rumours that this Mythical may be relevant in the next generation... but who knows!
Philippines here, I wasn't aware for the 7-11 Lapras promo card and I just recently got the news that they have it in my nearest store in my area but I was too late as it was already bought out. Hope that they got a restock in the future or more kind of promo cards😂

Mew is my favourite Pokémon, some collectors will spend more some less. Personally I have a bad experience buying cards over 5-10$, 1-2 years old after that you will find less people collecting for master sets and the price gets cheaper.

Astral radiance is one of the most underated Sword and shield sets. The artworks are amazing and some of my favorite pokemon are in there like beedrill and Machamp. Good luck to everyone btw:)
The artwork of the illustration and special illustration rares is what brought me into collecting this year. My current favourite artwork is the Eevee illustration rare. I hope I’m lucky enough to own it some day!

crown zenith all the way! I have been on a journey to collect all of the Galarian Gallery cards. The art work is so amazing on each one of them. i totally agree that one day, they will shoot up in price. All of the galarian gallery cards have unique artwork that i really appreciate, but my favorite has to go to zamzenta V for sure!
OBF Charizard was my first big hit coming back into the hobby over a year ago at this point. Working on getting the OBF and PAF Charizards framed together.
I just got into collecting, you been a great resource. My moto is: not focusing on any charts or markets. I buy 2 and open one. eventually I will be giving my collection to my kids. and spending the moments we have together opening said sets. memories over hype or anything. we have recently started to get some of our pulls graded purely for sentiment. once my kid gets old enough well start taking her lead on things.

It definitely has to be the pokemon center magneton , look at that artwork. It actually made me start working on custom artwork for custom cards.
