I can be driving totally normal in my big turbo project car in the middle of the night, no thought of ripping and Motley Crue comes on and before I know it I’m pinned going 150+ in the empty night, it’s crazy how much these songs hype you up, I couldn’t have imagined partying to these guys in the 80’s.
saw this show in Shreveport. The "BEST" and "LOUDEST" concert I've EVER been to, in my 51 years! The tommy Lee solo in the air was insane... These Guys ROCKED IT!!
I've seen Motley live a bunch of times, but this Carnival stage set-up was the best! They always sound powerful and strong in concert. A truly great Metal band.

"make some noise!" "wooooooo!" "Yeah Yeah Yeah!" and when they did Kickstart My Heart all he did at the chorus only sounded like "Kickstart my heart leehdlebleddleblah!!"
id say the best metal/rock band over all in terms of music,performance,band members that you know and stand out,talent,etc. Rather VInce can hit the notes anymore or not and Mick is gone..They still rule them all.
Bee Thumb (Bee Summers) First concert i ever saw was in 78. Aerosmith bootleg tour. They kicked ass! AC/DC fronted them, and we never heard of them. Saw Aerosmith again a year later. They were so fucked up wasted that during their set Perry and the other guitar player started playing different songs. They looked at each other and stopped playing. The crowd had enough and started booing. So yea, I think I can speak a little bit about the entity called Aerosmith.
@Kevin- Probably the loudest concert I've ever been to. I mean they roared! Concerts today are like church socials. 38 Special and Molly Hatchet used to make ears bleed too.
I saw these guys in Sioux Falls SD, paid $70.00 for the ticket and really felt like I owed them more when it was over. They played for three hours and kicked major ass. If they are ever within 200 miles of here again I will be there!
Doesn't matter how many people discard it at not metal, it truly is apart of metal history. If anything, Nu-metal should be getting the criticism, this is how i see it. Nu-metal is alienated from metal, musically, because it is based on alien musical influences, namely rap. Glam metal may have been "watered down" for commercial consumption, but it never pretended to fuse metal with anything.

I'm not sure of the difference in how much each band grosses and I'm surprised you somehow know that info too but I have no interest in wasting time looking it up. I personally haven't heard of any grunge bands touring near me (btw..Pearl Jam and Soundgarden are classified as alternative).
