They are typically looking for 1000+ hour pilots. But they did hire one 230 hour pilot this year that was in his late 30s with lots of other relevant life experience. A resume with some travel experience would certainly help.
By using a sim, Sir, at 32⁰C OAT at sea level, I find it difficult to maintain the ITT below 765⁰C, taking off at 1,700 ft-lbs 1,900 rpm, climbing at 1,500 ft-lbs 1,900 rpm up to 8,000-ft TOC, then cruise at 1,300 ft-lbs 1,750 rpm yielding 140-KIAS with 270 PPH. It took a while to lower ITT at 742⁰C during cruise. Is there something wrong with my torque settings?
32 degrees OAT is pretty hot. That might have something to do with it. But the fuel flow seems a little low for 1300 ft-lbs. I would expect it to be at about 300 pph or greater. I haven't been on the PT6 in a while so I can't remember exactly and I don't have a POH handy nor do I know what engine you have. But it seems as though the fuel flow is a little off which makes me wonder if it is a error in the sim programming. Have a look at the POH and see what your fuel flow should be at that altitude and that power setting. If its correct I suspect it is the OAT causing the near redline ITTs.
Truly professional crew, good work
BEAUTIFUL WORK! I got my first safety pilot call in Caravan for this weekend for sureveying
Very interesting content - I love the Caravan 🤩
Thanks pal. I love the sound of beta in the turbo props. More caravan content on the way!
So exciting! Congratulations on the new job!
Do they have any space for 250 hour pilots? ;)

@@onenutnightmare Thank you for the help. Doesn't hurt to try!

Can you tell us the music in the beginning of your video?
Good question. I can't recall the name of it. I get all my music from Envato Elements.
Found it!
