Of my last 10 pens, I’ve saved 5 and got my hand to 3.
I play at a low level, but my trick is this….
I prefer diving to my right, so I stand slightly (but noticeably) to the left of centre. I have to pretend like I’m an idiot and don’t realise I’m not in the middle.
You can see the excitement in the strikers eyes when he sees all the space to your right.
If the goals are smaller, like 6 a side, you can just dive.
If they’re bigger, 11 a side goals, I wait til the striker starts his run and then I side step quickly to the right to cover the bigger distance.
This works well for individual pens, but i don’t know if it’d be clocked during a shootout.

2 main things to be more consistent is to 1. Practice your craft and your game to be better. The better you are the more consistent you are. 2. Have confidence in yourself. If you are confident in yourself then you will play good

@@eashakbhuyain2022 I can make a short about it in the future but it's just to put off the taker. You would step to one side as they are planting their leg and push off to the other side. That step would change the takers mind on where they're going before they then shoot the ball at your side

Wait a minute, I think the rules say that the Goalkeeper's feet has to be on the line but in this video your feet were behind the line... Is this allowed? I'm not entirely sure.

I watched this on the way to cup final and I came down to pens.
I saved 3 of their 4 pens, the one I didn’t save was retaken even though I saved it because a parent from the other team shouting at me,” You ain’t f***ing saving this b****.” So it got retaken and they scored -also I am under 13’s so thats why they retook it. Personally, I think they should have let it go but. At east we beat them and lifted the trophy in front of the discord mod looking man.
