How to install Euro cabinet door hinges.

If you're new to woodworking, you may not be familiar with European hinges. These cup hinges are incredibly useful for aligning cabinet doors, as they adjust both vertically and horizontally. In this video, we'll be installing European hinges using a handy alignment jig that we picked up at Home Depot (though you can find similar jigs at most hardware stores). The jig we'll be using is specifically designed for installing European hinges. It features three pre-drilled holes: two for screws, and one for the cup itself. Using a simple hand grip, we'll show you how to drill out the cup hole with precision. Just line up the center of your Forstner bit with the mark on the jig, and drill down to the top of the cup.
