What's good fam hope y'all had a great week! We back with another episode of Paige Bueckers Film School and today we got the coldest 16 Year Old in the Game- Zamareya Jones aka Lil' Mamba! You may know her for her signature 360 layup but Zam has one of the most versatile games in all of basketball. She is legit a problem for whoever decides to pick her up- and she loves to talk trash too. She'll stare you down as she 360 lays you!!! Other than having the deepest layup bag I've ever seen, Zam can also pull it from DEEP, take you off the dribble, or kill you in the midrange. Paige had to get in the gym with Zam so she could learn her signature move. It took her a couple tries, but I wouldn't be surprised if I saw a 360 layup from Paige next year at UConn! Zam is already one of the top hoopers in the country and is only in the class of 2024- we know the future is bright for Lil' Mamba!!

I like this Girl she has the moves to back it up... Talk her in to the contact lenses because those glass will be knock off and broken as she gets older....I was always replacing them so many times, some times twice or more year.... even the goggles where broken...As I challenged taller players and beat them.... Sue Bird was was wearing the face protection... My senior year high school I had a red nose that took 2 years to change back to normal color.... from having them knock off!!! She believes in her self... a great trait to have....

I saw Zam Jones a few games her Sophomore yr and was fun to watch. Her basketball IQ has multiplied tremendously. Being an 81 graduate of NPHS it would be awesome to see another exciting player to play Division 1 and hopefully beyond from eastern NC.

Reminds me of Lauren Park Lane of Seton Hall. But she will not get away with those 360's in college and I imagine any big time coaching staff will shut it down.
Sure Paige could do those shots if she wanted to but being gracious to her guest. It was interesting to me how Paige went from being a flashy player at Hopkins to a player always looking for the high percentage play (I imagine Geno may have had a hand in that) and any player who wants to go to the top will have to figure that out

I like watching basketball. Have no idea how to play, but I just learned something from this kid. I saw that when she did a cool move to free herself up, from outside during the 'game' footage, it spiked her confidence, and the ball had a better chance to go in. This kid is pretty good. She's a good teacher. Also remember the opposite situation, while watching Olajuwon highlights of the 'dream shake.' He faked out the guy so badly, it increased the 'nerve factor' for the open short jumper. You could see the 'tension' in the shot, and it double clanked in. Course. I didn't know how to express what I was seeing.

That's sad that Paige tore her ACL and will miss the upcoming season at UCONN. She just needs to go ahead and declare herself for the WNBA draft once she heals up. With NIL though, she may actually make more money in COLLEGE, than she would in the WNBA . . at least initially.
Ima just say… flashy layups can save WNBA viewership. It’s saying something when regular people don’t know a star in the league, apart from drugs and court in Russia.
Immediate responses is she won't get away with that in college or she'll get shut down quickly if she tries that in a game. Probably the same people saying women's basketball is boring and nobody watches. Can't have it both ways.

Interesting move, but she will never be allowed to do that in D1 basketball, and if she does she will get whacked in the head with an elbow just like Caroline Ducharme got one. The nasty girls will hurt someone just for showing them up: Ducharme was out for several games and wasn't right the rest of the season. Don't try that bush-league stunt in D1. Doing 360 when not needed. Bad basketball. Hot dogging is what has ruined NBA basketball and now these young girls copy that crap. Basics and fundamentals first. The hotdogging is just that hotdogging.
she have the basic fundamentals. this is not the 70’s where everyone just do basic dribbling and a simple 1 2 layup. let this new gen have fun and keep evolving the game especially these young women
