The mechanism could be a little weird in and of itself, as the responses of the people being crushed on (who by the way, don't know what is gonna happen) are being broadcast to such a huge audience. Knowing this, the person who needs to respond is under quite a lot of pressure, don't ya think?
It might be just me, but if I'm being filmed like this and the crush someone has on me is revealed through someone I don't know (and the person who has feelings isn't even there to see the result) I would consider that pretty lame, to be totally honest.
Obviously, there are some people who are happy with this (as seen in the video), and I'm also happy for the people whose situations worked out here, but I think the situation that the responding party is exposed to is pretty much objectively worse than simply being told privately and directly by the person who wants a relationship.

i have very strong feelings for a good friend of mine and we actually talked about it like a week ago and he said he hasn't developed feelings for me the past 6 months since we've known each other but he sees how i look at him and act around him so he knows i'm in love with him.
actually it isn't too bad we have had this talk. i was sure even before our conversation about him not being in love with me and wanting to stay friends that he doesn't feel the same way but it was ok for me the whole time and it is still.
we have seen each other 2 times since we talked about it and it's completely normal. i'm actually a bit surprised that he still looks me deeply in my eyes and touches me a lot and texts me maybe more than before he has told me.
it doesn't help me trying to ignore my feelings but i'm glad we can be so open about it and talk normally.
he said he doesn't want to loose me and our friendgroup because we're the best friends he has ever had and i am absolutely ok with that. sometimes it isn't meant to be and it's ok for people to be friends if one of them is in love with the other one.
just wanted to share that.

Its funny cause the people who said that were right but it probably is cause society kinda expects men to be cold and women to be caring. Then people also think gay people are more feminine and thus care more.

Someday I asked him, when we were talking about our own dating lives, and he made it very clear that the was straight. He had something very feminine about him. I think he didn't shy away of his feminine side.
Sometimes gay people have a lingo, a body movement and other gays recognize them based on that. Darcenio has something on his way to move. He doesn't try to be very masculine and this is very attractive because people are searching for something different. And he seems funny.
I related to their story because I usually don't ask people about their sexual orientation but I had some girls interested in me in the past and would feel it before they made a move on me. I do have a presence and a energy that demand attention. I think that's why some women became attracted to me.
If they go out as friends it's better for Darcenio to make it very clear to Andrew that he doesn't have a shot because my boy wants that! 👅
