@@KnowledgeSharingTech Thanks. I want to pass along a tip: if you plug a bootable USB with Parrot Linux on it into a Windows computer, it can see everything on your Windows hard drive. This could be helpful if there is a problem with Windows and you can't access the hard drive.

Recently got this unit & it’s amazing. I have question though, when I shutdown the HP laptop while the dock is connected the laptop the power still remains on and have to press laptop power button for 5 sec before it turns off. This is connected via USB A. Is this normal?

You mean your laptop stays on? If this is the case, try connecting the dock to another USB port on the laptop

I can see laptop is doing its normal shutdown & screen is black, but laptop power button light is still on and cpu fan running. Do think it’s because the hub is supplying power to usb A. The way I charge the laptop is a typical barrel plug & not usb c. I’ll try other usb port & report back.

Using other usb a port does the same thing. I did a little more investigating & found that the usb c host is supplying power if the minisupuru is powered on. I also tried using it on my my MacBook Air M1 & it charges the mac as per minisupuro documentation. I’m just afraid it might ruin my hp usb port. It is not meant for the usb a to receive power from the hub. I might just use it for mac just to be safe. The DS808 model might be perfect for old laptop that don’t use usb c charging.
