We flew in one from NJ to Orlando FL, wow, so quiet! The runway in NJ was short, took off quickly. These new engines are so powerful and quite it's mesmerizing.

J M sounds like you flew out of Trenton-Mercer; runways there are less that 7,000 feet long I believe! Agreed, quite an impressive aircraft!

    Sounds almost like a GE90

Everything is great about the NEO, except that I miss the IAE and CFM Engine sounds.

MegaAirplanelover Agreed. I miss the old buzzaw from the classic A320 engines

The EconoFlyer it is not just the Neo. The 737 max now sounds boring without the 737 CFM sounds, and that bombardier cs series sounds quiet too like the Airbus A350

Wow I didn’t realize just how different the new engines sound, you’re right!

Notice the slight buzz when the engine throttles up........... but when using headphones.

Still, the (slight) buzzsaw retains on A320neo....... but when you're listening the headphones.

I prefer the old engines but the NEO is still not a 737 so I like that about it
