Can't believe people won't just sit their butts down and enjoy the beautiful de-icing action - Another fantastic video - thanks for bring light to my working day with wonder 321 again :)
It varies. It really depends on how much contamination there is. Light snow or frost can easily be taken care of in 15 minutes. But it took considerably longer on this flight because there was so much snow on the wings. It also had started to melt, but then refroze when the sun was blocked, so there was ice to remove too. If I remember correctly, it took nearly an hour to deice this aircraft.
DFW is still my most visited airport. Even though I haven't flown through there a lot this year, it's still easily my top airport. I have been through DFW 237 times since 2010. The next closest isn't even really close. It's JLN, my home airport, at 105 times.
Yes. Some of it's luck. But all of my flights the last couple of weeks have been on Alaska Airlines, United Airlines, and Hawaiian Airlines. And they have been unaffected by the recent weather and crew issues.
Wow~~ Holly! It's unfamiliar to watching de-icing! Thank you nice Video💜
Thanks for watching!

Your still able to fly with all of these flights being canceled?
