Deathcore = bands like Oceano. A song with pretty much all chugs and breakdowns. Iwrestledabearonce is Avant-garde since the band is very experimental.

This band needs to comeback with krysta and John. Honestly when Krysta left the band I lost interest. Her screams where fucking chaotic but the bjork type vocals were the ones that really stole the show. I think that bands like Dillinger, agoraphobic nosebleed or the locust should’ve exposed this band to their audiences. Hopefully it’s not to late to write a new album that it’s just as unique as their ep and “it’s all happening “

That's fair. I got a Century Media sampler disc with this song on it and it took me a couple months of listening to this song before I liked it, honestly. And now I love everything they do. I think it was just a little too "weird" for my previously very straight forward metal preference. I've branched out quite a bit since then, and I think they helped me to do so.

Fuck Courtney is so much better then Krysta. I guess the band itself has just improved over the years. Im glad to see improvments. Yes Krysta is amazing at her screams but her clean vocals and lyrics are shit its not catchy what so ever just annoying girl singing randomly. Courtney can scream just as good and actually make good catchy lyrics.
The beat down at the end is an exact copy from suffocation's "entrails of you" beatdown which is at the end of that song. Sounds cool but I wonder if anyone else caught that

I'm gonna put my 2-cents in here.... I started listening to metal when I heard Cradle of filth (around like 7 years ago) and since then have expanded my taste to all different kinds of sub-genres. I enjoy IWABO, Deicide, Atheist, Whitechapel, Cattle Decapitation, Parkway Drive, Atreyu, etc etc. If you're going to base a band off of how "Heavy" they are, than you can go back into that old school elitist hole of yours and rot. Listen for the music, not to be "Brutal".
People like you is what gives us metalheads a bad name. Sure you do not like this. But what is the point in belittling others for liking it?
On the topic of Deicide and Suffocation being heavy. Ministry has songs where the guitars are heavier than their stuff. Shit there are some Visual Kei bands with some of the heaviest guitar riffs I have ever heard. Metal is metal and we are a damn family. Stop being the confrontational brother in our family please.
Came to check these guys out 'cause Vanna said they were good. But... ehh I don't know man I'm just not into it. Her screaming is disgusting and her cleans have a lazy melody, and the band just plays crazy random shit that all together sounds like random noise. It kind of just seems like this whole band is a joke... I like the whole cool idea of a female vocalist but I don't think they really pull it off.. They're probably cool as hell thought but that's just my opinion of their music.

HH is a little soft for me and it has always been my understanding that HH is ALSO screamo. if they arent....then they arent. as for IWABO i love this shit man. chick is brutal and rips hard as hell. "alaskan flounder basket" is one of my favorite songs of theres. my comment about screamo was trying to say that IWABO is not screamo.

@TheWeeznut you're insane....perhaps she had an off day at the show you saw her at...it does happen you know...especially if you're singing and screaming in the same songs...over and over again everyday for months...shit can be rough on your vocal cords...I haven't seen them live, although I've watched plenty of videos of them live and she sounds good...and I'm not talking about doctored videos like the band had filmed for them I'm talking about regular people in the crowds filming.
A gram of neutron star isn't heavy... It's a gram in weight. You tried to sound smart and confused density with weight. It would be immensely dense, but still weigh a gram if you say it's a gram of neutron star. Nor do things have considerable weight in space considering that whole lack of gravity thing.
you don't have to hate this type of vocals because you like death metal vocals. they are just different styles. personally, I think metal would get pretty boring if every vocalist did death metal vocals. but maybe that's just me. I love her growls, and her highs, and I would marry her just for her singing voice.
I think to be proper, she should have a video of her screaming while washing the dishes, in the back ground her, "Husband" watching foot ball on the couch with a sandwich happy and content while she, "Also happy in content", continues to scrub the food off plates, and to the side a lovely window with bars on it!... To keep burglars out of course! :D
Wowee, it's like they taped random, different songs together in less than a minute and called it music. I like that century media is giving me an offer of these cuh-razy compilations for 10 to 15 dollars, but I can errantly change the channels in my car radio and get the same thing and without cost

@MrNantio bro, you need to watch "Metal: A Head Bangers Journey". Slipknot falls well under the category of American New Wave METAL; stemming from stuff like Pantera. This stuff (metalcore) out dates that CRAP (American Heavy Metal) by about 10 years starting with bands like Integrity (1988). Read it, educate yourself. Just Wiki it.
