- Hey y'all. I'm sharing my first Sunday Reset in my new apartment and it was a busy day. Kicked off my fitness journey with a long overdue visit to the gym in my complex and finished my session in the sauna. Yes, we have a sauna. Gave my patio a refresh. Hey sis! Best to water your plants early in the day and sit them in the sunlight for a bit. Watering at night and leaving them damp and in the dark (no sunlight) will cause mold and mushrooms.

This was lovely and affirming. I water my plants with tap water that has been sitting for at least 24 hours. This allows the chemicals to dissipate. I keep the water in large water bottles. Blessings!

How do you feel waking up in your own bedroom after all those years? My mom didn’t have her own room until I was about 12 years old and I didn’t have my own room until I was in high school and it felt great to close my room 🚪 🙅🏾♀️🙅🏾♀️. I’m up at the crack of dawn at 5-6 am most days. So I was extremely tired. I am not a morning person. But I try to get up a few hours before I need to start my day so that I have time to meditate, eat breakfast and just be still ☺️

Girl!!! You had a long day! Those steak tacos looked so good and your plants are flourishing, and so are you in your new home. Have you thought about getting a clothes dryer rack from ikea? It comes in so handy. I like the small one you were hanging your undergarments on. 💙
Thanks so much sis 🤗☺️. I actually have the IKEA clothes drying rack. That’s what I use when I need to hang dry my clothes and I usually hang the underwear rack and bras off the side.

Yes it rained in my neck of the woods for 3days. I got up early and went for my am walk. It was so beautiful and felt fresh after the rain. The park was a little flooded but i enjoyed the walk. Gave me time to think
Yasss for time to think. It’s been raining every day here, including today. And it’s cold. I’m over it. I just want to go sit out on my patio and stare into space for hours 😆

Such a great vlog we spent the whole day with you from when you got up until the end with your green thumb with taking care of your beautiful plants. I only buy artificial plants 🤣
Try at least one real plant 😅. This is the perfect time of year for practice. The pothos plants are super easy. They grow like weeds and can be propagated to make more plants ❤️
Again I love how you've decorated. I have such a problem with paper clutter. How do you handle mail, bills, and other important papers? You keep your place so neat. ❤
Thanks so much. I get all of my bills delivered electronically. When mail comes in, I immediately shred anything I don’t need to keep. For my important documents I file them away in file boxes/bags stored in a closet. But I only keep what I need in paper form. A lot of documents I’ll scan with my phone and then shred the original to avoid paper clutter. Hope that helps 🫶🏾

Late but I'm here. Work and school are kicking my but. Adulting sucks😂 I don't dry alot of my clothes as well. If you have a marshalls close by, I purchased the mario badescu 16oz body lotion there for $12.99. A little pricey but it's very moisturizing and get the job done. The papaya is my fave. Purchase plant follow instructions. Large pots, plenty of dirt, roots pulled apart, lot of sunlight . Not outside
I’ve been having the same problem with my plants getting mold. I did the cinnamon but what is the others stuff you added?
The white stuff? It’s perlite. Makes the soil more airy so it dries out a bit faster. I linked it in the description box ❤️
Are those coasters underneath your terracotta plant pots?
Yes, I use different types of coasters to absorb/catch any excess water to protect the furniture and windowsills
