My Love, I watched from beginning to end. Im now in my 40's as well and I really dont know at what point I stopped taking care of myself like how youve shared in this video. I used to get my hair done at the salon bi-weekly as well as get my mani and pedi done. Now, its take a shower, moisturize with coconut or olive oil from head to toe and brush my twa, oh btw I wear my hair short now lol. I just soaked my feet last week and it took for ever for me to make time to sit long enough to do it. I fell off and this video def. helped in reminding me of the importance of self love and care. I dont even remember the last time I wore some good smelling oils. Anyway, I thank you for sharing this. It was all that and long as hell just how I like it.
You’re very welcome. Thanks for watching. I think about this as well, all the time. I did so much better with maintaining my beauty rituals when I was younger, even as a single mom of a small child. But I realized that I have so much more on my plate these days and sometimes time is a luxury that I do not have. So I have to actively carve out time for myself. I’ve been actually putting my self care activities on my calendar with everything else that I need to do and it’s been helping ❤️

Your nails look great! I do my own nails too, have you tried the blue bottle seche vite? The shine is unmatched and it dries fast and it really gives gel mani vibes. Worth the money! Love you content.

You’ve probably talked about it before but have you considered getting micro shading so you wouldn’t have to maintain your brows so often? I got a combination of microblading and shading a year ago and I absolutely love it!
Thanks for the suggestion. I talked about it in my eyebrow tinting tutorial. But Microblading/shading is not an option since I’m on Tretinoin. You have to stop retinol a few weeks before and have to wait a week or so to start back up. Retinol will also make them fade faster since it speeds up skin turnover 😫

Awww thank you so much ❤️ and you’re not being nosey, I’m here to share 😅. This is about 3 weeks worth of growth. I faded my sides low for my birthday and have just been lining them up since, not taking anything off ☺️
It's nice to see someone with relatable content! Usually when I go for a basic manicure, I leave disappointed and sometimes a fungus! Honestly, I do a better job at home. The problem is that I can't get my manicure to last past 3 days! Right now I'm considering a gel nail lamp.
Last time I treated myself to a pedicure I ended up with a fungus myself. So I’m going to go back to doing them at home. And I’m always happier with my own results as I’m very particular lol.
With the products I used, I was able to get to 4 days with no chipping. Then minor chipping so they lasted the work week.
I have a gel lamp but I need the right polish as the one I had didn’t last longer than a regular manicure. I also have a dip powder kit but my dip powder manicures don’t last either. I probably just need more practice ☺️

I love your channel. Your hair texture is exactly like mine. But I have a few questions. Q#1: do you find that the semi permanent color bleeds with the use of oils in your hair? Q#2: after styling your hair is your hair ever left looking white after the products before it dries?
Thank you. I find that sometimes the color will bleed on my pillowcase a little if my hair is wet. My hair only looks white while it’s still wet. Once the products fry it disappears. If your hair is taking white then the products you are using may not mix well, or you may be using a little too much. Hope that helps ❤️
