Excellent Video as Always!
I second this
Boy I miss kicking cars. Was always fun. It's definitely a lost art as most of the younger guys are too nervous doing it.
NB&M doesn't allow it, so I definitely miss it at times, but not oh well. Haha
Also, huge kudos for the proper train symbols! Hardly anyone does that with these VTR videos.
This channel is just amazing . I always dream to visit USA and go in an adventure on train . I know it's never gonna happen
Great Video as usual! Especially loved seeing the crew kick cars, it never gets old.
Amazing going through the cut 6:08
Incredible footage of Vermont Rail's diverse roster, especially the private car special! I've always been a fan of MP15ACs since they're not as common when compared to GP38/GP40s, and they're a bit of a rarity on my home railroad too (the Long Island Railroad).
Way awesome catch of RDBD here 5:18
I am delighted with the recording, very nice, I like extraordinarily good, simply fantastic
Nice!🚂🚂
Awesome gets!!
Did you hear when 700 did a bum, bum, bum. Bum that was the engineer that gives me partial SAAHC/ jingle bells
Great show as usual Harrison!
First off, I can WELL appreciate your frustration at getting stuck behind s-l-o-w traffic. When i was working I had to time my leaving the house around when I knew the school buses would be prowling the area. When we lived in Sussex County NJ for three days in a row there was a guy on a tractor blocking rush hour traffic on a two lane road! He was gone the fourth day, I'm assuming the cops explained the facts of life to him.
That being said you got some good footage here! I have to ask, maybe you know and maybe you don't, but why were there four locomotives (two Vermont Rail and two Amtrak) on that AARPCO train? I doubt both Amtrak units were broken, I'm assuming there was a good reason.
Anyway, thanks for bring us along!
The Amtrak units stayed attached to take the train from Rutland to Albany with an Amtrak crew. They came up via Springfield and Bellows Falls and it was easier to just leave them attached
@@NorthCountryTrains That makes sense, thanks Harrison!
great video .I live in Rutland and I am very interested in vt railway
The worst part is the school buses that stop at every house instead of at bus stops
Nice video 👍🏻
Nice video! How did you get on railroad property without getting arrested for trespassing?
No clips in this video were filmed from railroad property. During the rare event that I do venture onto RR property I make sure an employee is aware and ok with it.
why was Vt engine 207 pulling amtrak engines is that normal?
Normal for the AAPRCO train, yes
Would you happen to know when the run to Newport VT. happens?
They alternate days, Monday-Saturday. So either the morning or the afternoon depending on the day
@@NorthCountryTrainsThank you! I’m looking to take a trip towards that area sometime in July. You might see me on more videos with more questions throughout the months 😉
