Love Mr Jones. Just when I thought I didn't need another watch.
Absolutely love the Airman, got to get one!! Great video Kieron, cheers
excellent video of incredibles watchs . thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching my friend
I own a MeisterSinger with two hands; second hand is the power reserve.
It's the prize in my modest accumulation of watches.
Love these hidden gem videos man. Keep it up!!!
Glad you like them! More to come!
Some designs are truly masterful especially for being in the lower price end :)
Yes they are! Thanks for watching :)
I picked up an Airman Purist (24hr dial) years ago for a song. Glycine has been ignored for far too long. I'm not sure whether the Rolex GMT master came first but they are more or less contemporary around 1953/4. A Swiss watch with real history for a very affordable price.
The Airman was so cheap a few years ago now you can't find them easily.
Glycine are garbage!
Mine the dial had excessive play, none of the seconds hand hit its markers, GMT was way off.
Return that POS, and bought a titanium Zelos, never looked back!
@@psiturbo My Airman purist was bought when Glycine was an independent high quality Swiss brand. I don't see how an Airman can have excessive play since the bezels on the Airman have a proprietary locking system. Maybe you should do little research or actually read a post before dissing a high quality automatic Swiss watch, especially before singing the praises of a piece of Chinese 🦮💩!!
@@BAF605you should look in the mirror and take your own advice. Zelos is a Singapore company and they are technically Chinese. They are Singaporeans. There are some great Singapore watch companies. Zelos, Vario, Boldr, etc.....
The Swiss aren't alone at the top anymore. The Japanese, Germans, French, English currently design and make some really good watches. You are suffering from confirmation bias on this matter.
@@psiturboyou probably got a bad one. No reason to swear off a brand or think they are all crap. With that mindset you will be living as a popper or dead because you swore off everything.
Great video again mate 👍
Appreciate you my man 🙏
Some real beauties here mate.
Indeed! I'm looking at buying an airman very soon 😍
Don't know why it pleasantly surprised me that the one hand watch is actually easy to tell the time, it never crossed my mind that the minute hand is actually not needed/necessary and now I want one 😂
Funny isn't it, actually easier when you think about it...
I have an Airman DC-4 -- it's amazing and one of my favorites!
Those Speedmaster Reduced / Speedmaster Racing models are underrated! Crazy good value for the relative low price compared to other speedy’s
Agreed! I love em
Another great video, love the NASA watch
Do you have experience with Casio oceanus ? Or Citizen Attesa ? I can’t decide which i should take, the Casio oceanus ocw s100 of the Citizen attesa cb1120
Stuhrling make very beautiful and original watches that are very reasonable. I've got two pieces and both were only around £250 each
I have an alternate of number 10 since it's a bit expensive for me, Vostok Komandirskie 24-Hour with flipside dial, meaning that instead of 12th hour will be down there and 24th hour will be up there but this one instead put 0th hour below and put 12th hour below
I have the 24hr Vostok Komandirskie with the blue face/bezel on a real Vostok mesh bracelet(which are hard to find and ridiculously expensive). It is easily my fav beater watch......I should think it will remain my fav beater watch as it is a truly unique piece. It DOES take some getting used to, but that's OK...
@@ssnerd583 I have the white one with no date, kinda buy to irritates people haha although not my beater (that would be Henry Archer Nordlys or Avi-8Hurricane Kent or Citizen Promaster Dive B612) but I still love it, also I appreciate how Vostok hand-winding feeling feels, I even love it more than on Omega 8800 Calibre
The Amphibia and Komandirskie are perfect beater watches!!! They are VERY difficult to kill, and when they do finaly go KAPUT you have a spare in the drawer in the other room that you get out and wind up and keep on going for about $75........no battery to change and they keep reasonably good time. I actually have 4 or 5 of these odd Vostok watches....dont think I paid over $125 for any of them. The mesh bracelet is MUCH BETTER than any of the other Vostok metal bracelets!!!@@ahha6304
I would love to get a Glycine Purist. Good value for the money and cool design that it's different.
Those Mr Jones watches look like you would find them in a cereal box
I have seen the Hamilton Ventura in person, it's a great looking out of the box watch, It's a shame it doesn't feature in more channels.
Makes it a hidden gem!
Xeric makes some super cool looking watches
where to find the qlock two?
Few years ago bought a brand new automatic Glycine Airman for 500 bucks, hands down my top favorite watch in my collection. Now official retail is 1800 CHF. Lucky.
Sir, now you can buy a new one (via Ashford) for less than $200
@@prredo All quartz tho. A hardcore used automatic Airman starts at $600, if you're lucky to find one. And brand new one is from $900 and can get much more expensive if you're looking for a specific model. And that's excluding taxes.
Thank you for bringing this video to us, i really enjoyed it. I've been a fan of Xeric for awhile now especially the Vendetta.
The all black Boldr watch you showed has really caught my eye. I'll definitely be checking it out!
Airman was not originally designed for airforce pilots, but for airline pilots who crossed different time zones.
History books say otherwise
@@TopTierTickerIt was designed on request by and in co-operation with airline captain Chat Brown. His initiative was to have a GMT watch for airline pilots who fly intercontinental routes.
...that you've CAME across!!!
Come on, Man! Give us a break!
I guess since I have a healthy self esteem, and I don't need to be 'cool', I won't need any of these watches.
a smart watch is a useless invention lol
Quartz watches are crap 😉 and all suggestions are inferior
