One thing that I have experienced is I have osteoporosis and copd. I was then diagnosed with compression fractures on my spine. These are incredibly painful and take quite a bit of time to heal. One of the recommended exercises are for posture, these will be very helpful, with the compression fracture, the second time that it happened (T6 and T8 became compressed) I had tremendous pain everytime I took a breath. No one of the medical people that I talked to saw any correlation between my spine and breathing. I have so found that they are connected. Hope this may help anyone who may be dealing with the connection between the two.
Excellent point! Your Posture and Your breathing are absolutly connected. We focus on this with all of our exercises. If you need any further help, please feel free to schedule a complimentary consultation with David here: calendly.com/pulmonaryrehab/15min
Very many thanks for an excellent video. I really don’t need a doughnut or any other incentive to help me to move. I do COPD exercises each and every day, and what’s more I really enjoy them. A video such as yours, I’m sure all lung disease sufferers who watch your videos would be glad to do exercise knowing they would really help them feel so much! God bless you, David, sir.

I so wish you were in this area and taking new patients. The hospital here decided that going to the ER 3 times in 18 months was drug seeking behavior and forced me to go to a mental ward where the Doctor talked to me for 3 minutes before asking my why they sent me there. I died 10 years ago after having pneumonia for 5 month and ended up with COPD and Chronic pain from the cpr that saved my life.

Just today I have started feeling extremely bad pain in my lungs, because of which I almost called E.R. I was coughing, without mucus or blood, so I told to myself to calm down and that it's not pneumonia or embolism. Still, the pain continued. I never had lung problems, not even when I've had covid.. so I supposed this can't be it. Now, I am working from home, sitting a lot in front of the computer and my posture got worse over years. Few months ago I started feeling extremely dizzy every morning because of how bad my posture got. I am wondering if this pain in the lungs and chest I have experienced earlier was caused by my posture, as I didn't have any other symptoms apart dizziness and panic attack which could have warned me about something more advanced and serious. Thank you so much on reply in advance and thank you for the educational video :)
The relationship between posture, breathing and pain are so important. We teach specific posture and breathing exercises to improve all 3 of these. Feel free to schedule a free consultation: pulmonaryrehab.com/
