  • Been busy today engraving stones from our beach with 'reserved' and 'wedi'i gadw'. Ready to use over the busy Easter period. Bit of a dirty job but the Dremel powered through them.

Awesome work. So how do we "color" the words like in blue or black etc ? Do we just paint em. Stain em? Would that last ?

Hi Trina, The rocks we used were from the beach in front of one of our restaurants. I tried to pick the smoothest surface not necessarily the softest. Just avoid the stones that are like gritstone as it doesn't give a clean finish.

I just wanted someone to cut an 6X8 inch rectangle into a rock to embed a plaque for my grandson Tommy Burket who was killed by a criminal. Professionals claim they cannot do it but my husband was able to do it on a piece of granite/ marble???? I wanted the rectangular 1/4 inch cut made into a rock (NOT marble or granite).I CANNOT FIND ANYONE OR ANYPLACE ON THE INTERNET THAT EVEN SHOWS IT CAN BE DONE..and the counter top people say they don't have equipment to do this...REALLY??? I DON'T GET IT!!!!!
