    Hi Bill, Had to watch this review before I go to bed. I don't know anything about Airbrushing as you know. But this looks really good, a great concise and very clear review and therefore deserves BIG THUMBS-UP ALL DAY LONG 👍😊👍

      Well that remains to be seen... they still need to make a Non mac valve B cup or something brush.

      Or even a side feed, It does spray well. Very well, and even opens up ok for a .2

    Nice review, do you think this airbrush is good for drawing like hairline? And how about the tip dry. Im planning to get one of ps 270, what would you think?

    • @TheAIRspace
      @TheAIRspace  4 роки тому +2

      They are great. And capable of great detail. Nearly micron level.
      The 770 of course is a tiny bit finer.

      I've got both the PS-270 and the PS-770. The PS-270 have more or less become my favourite airbrush among those I've got. It's capable of much more than one would think for it's price tag and I'm saying (this is my very personal opinion) that the PS-270 gives you the most airbrush for the money you put in. It's not the best out there but it sure holds it's ground. By the way if it's of some help I'm not an airbrush artist but I'm a scale modeller.

    • @TheAIRspace

      @@TheSwedeMcCoy basically that's my opinion.. its not the best. But its up there and a for the price contest very difficult to beat.

    Great video there. The review was interesting, the Creos aren't a subsidiary of Iwata by chance are they, as so much seems to be so similar and interchangeable... But nice to see a sub $120 Airbrush work so well, and fine line as the Creos does, if the nozzle doesn't need dismantling so much then less chances of losing it, in which case makes it a possible for my shelf. Nicely presented, now to go see what the shipping will be 😉

    • @TheAIRspace
      @TheAIRspace  5 років тому +1

      They ship free worldwide on any airbrush over 100.00 A removeable head, or an easy to access nozzle like H&S or eclipse is imperative for me to consider it as suitable for use. I just do not like removing screw in nozzles at all. And more so I would never recomend one that is not easily maintained. (IE No grex or high line brushes for me) As for who owns what, you may be suprised to learn Iwata owns very very few patents.

  • @beardoallin657
    @beardoallin657 2 роки тому

    Great airbrush I needed a replacement needle the shipping was 30 bucks for a needle that weighs nothing that's my only complaint,couldn't find anyone else who sold them,some people say the parts are interchangeable with some iwata airbrushes dont know how much truth there is to that.

    hi nice video ! j have 2 questions. first is what is the difference betwin procon ps 771 and ps 770 ? and second I'm betwin h&s evolusion 0.15 and procon 770 or 771 what you think is better in general?

    • @TheAIRspace
      @TheAIRspace  4 роки тому +1

      The only difference between the 770 and 771 is the finish.
      Comparing the h&s is difficult. One I dont have one. Two they are built different. The h&s is easier to service than a micron style brush. But the nozzles are softer. Some people absolutely love the h&s and either brush is a very high quality part.
      So I'm going with this is a Ford versus Chevy debate. Some will prefer one some others. But both are outstanding albeit different.

      @@TheAIRspace thank you very much !sold my 2 badger airbrushes . I order a procon ps290 0.5. and now I want a fine airbrush for detail and looking either ps771 procon or h&s evolution al I think it takes the 0.15. I'm in europe so that's a plus for the h&s

    • @TheSwedeMcCoy
      @TheSwedeMcCoy 4 роки тому

      Both the PS-771 and the H&S 0.15 Is good at what they do. I've got Two H&S (Silverline and Infinity Cr+) that I run with 0.2 and 0.15 set up. I really like the balance and the trigger on the H&S but I've also got the most time with them as well as those two is my oldest of my nine airbrushes. Then I've got the PS-270 and the PS-770 that also is great. The PS-770 in my mind have better colour atomization than the H&S and can pull of tighter detailing for me in my hands. But the PS-770 is a by far larger airbrush than the H&S. I don't use the MAC valve as I've got a Grex G-MAC at the end of my hose so I can have a MAC valve to all my airbrushes. The best thing for you would be to test drive both first as ergonomics play a big role in my opinion. What's right for me may be wrong for you. My other airbrushes is four Badgers and one NEO.

    I do agree that I'd like to see a smaller or a side feed option, but the reason they don't have it, from the manufacturer is that it keeps the costs lower, less machine es and people needed for production.

    • @billkennedy1220
      @billkennedy1220 5 років тому +1

      I doubt they are making them themselves. I suspect they are coming out of one of the 2 factories that make all the others 😀
      They have about 20 different airbrushes now, some that would be ridiculously low sellers. For now they have some good items, But they really need to get more of these in hands of market influencers to gain serious market share.
      (people buy what they see the "bif name" giys use)

    • @justinsane332
      @justinsane332 5 років тому +1

      @@billkennedy1220 they are made in the same factory as Iwata, but when spray gunner interviewed the owner, he explained that though they are in the same facility, procon, or creos, mr.hibby, whatever you want to call them, lol, didn't have use of the same machines. Some parts are identical, but for the brush bodies, I guess it would take a different setup to make smaller or side feed cups. It makes sense from a financial view, but I'd like to see them gain some market share and start putting out the other styles. As it stands, I think all of there brushes come with the same size cup. Except for trigger style models. I own 3 different hobby brushes and I'm use to the large cup now, so it doesn't bother me as much as it first did. Keep up the great work! Love the tutorials, but this was a good review as well. Look forward to seeing more!

    Similar to my likes butty. I like plenty of room for my porkers. I would cut the bowl down too. Even my Micron Cm-sb 2 is not 100% perfect either. I would prefer a lower and rounder trigger, it does make marks in your finger. I like to make my brushes light as possible. Harder and steinbeck bodies unscrew off with just 1 twist, good idea that one. Limiters, in the bin. Well back in the box, especially when you pay £350 for an airbrush.

      It's the needle/nozzle combination that differs between PS-270 and PS-289, both have a MAC valve. If you're referring to the PS-274 when you say WA then it's not just the MAC valve but also needle/nozzle (0.3) and a different head as well.

    Why go for the 770 when the 270 is just as good. Same factory probably. Only 0.02 difference in nozzle size too. Much cheaper. When I’m flush and hopefully still going, I think I would like one of these.

    • @TheAIRspace
      @TheAIRspace  5 років тому +1

      To be clear I think the 770 has an advantage, the micron head is a bit shorter than this, although it fits. And I think the shorter nozzle is just a little finer atomizing. However there is not much to complain about with this brush, its become my standard. I use this and an eclipse for just about everything.
