    Very thorough tutorial. The most difficult thing is to put all the beads on the thread. How do you slide beads along 200 feet of thread without getting a tangled mess? If you make a mistake and you don't see it all the time spent is wasted. How long does it take to put so many beads on the thread? But the result is so nice it's worth the effort.
    I bought a book once about bead crochet but didn't like it and sold it.

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska  4 роки тому

      You don't have to put all the beads on the thread at once if you want :) Especially in big projects it's not possible. You can tie the thread. And it's not that big problem if yoou make a mistake in pattern, you can always fix it :)

    Muchas gracias. Tengo una pregunta. ¿En qué ocasión se debe usar la técnica simple o la de punto doble? Hay diferencia entre ambas técnicas estéticamente o el collar queda igual con cualquier técnica? Gracias

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska  3 місяці тому

      Sí, hay una diferencia entre ellos - la puntada de deslizamiento se utiliza para las cuerdas más finas, aproximadamente un máximo de 8-10 cuentas en una fila. El ganchillo doble (en inglés británico) o también llamado ganchillo simple se utiliza para cuerdas de mayor diámetro y diversos productos como bolsos, bolas de Navidad, etc. En el ganchillo simple, el dibujo es más diagonal.

    How many groups of 12 did you string on

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska  4 роки тому

      To be honest....I don't know, I don't count rows. The more important for me is the length of the bead string. If the circumference of the rope is 12 beads, the required length is 12 times longer than the length of the finished product.

      Hello, this thread is czech product and it is difficult to buy it outside Czech or Slovac republic. I don't know where are you from but if you live in EU you can order it from some czech eshop that deliveres abroad (e.g. www.stoklasa-eu.com/index.php?text=kordonet&skupina=h01). But feel free to use any other perle cotton thread, you don't have to use exactly this one :) There are some similar threads: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/40-ANCHOR-Pearl-Cotton-Crochet-Balls-J-P-Size-8-85-Meters-each-Solid-Colors/262165465814?epid=1888856616&hash=item3d0a478ad6%3Ag%3AIlsAAOSwYvFZMXve

    Wonderful tutorial! So clear and easy to understand! I have a question about the crochet hook: you said get tulip crochet hook size 16 and you said that it is 0.8mm. I looked up the hook and it says that the tulip hook size 16 is 0.4mm...is this the same hook? Here is the link: m.staples.com/Tulip-Needle-Company-Size-16-4mm-Tulip-Etimo-Rose-Steel-Crochet-Hook-TEL-16E/product_24208367
    I live in the US by the way. I'm having great trouble getting my materials right... any advice will be so very helpful!

      Hello, thank you very much! I found on the official Tulip website that they have different sizing for US. Size 0.4 mm (US 16) is really too small, I recommend at least 0.8 mm that I used in the tutorial, which corresponds size 8 or 10 in US. Size 8 has 0.9mm and size 10 has 0.75mm.
      If you want exactly the same crochet hook that I used in the tutorial, you can buy it here www.dobeado.com/crochet-hook-tulip-0-8mm It is trustworthy czech eshop, I usually buy my material there and they also deliver to US. Or you can find a lot of material for example on Ebay. You can buy there quite good set of crochet hooks ebay.to/2AcvGgE and the price is really low. And I also found some crochet hooks in US eshop www.firemountaingems.com/search/?keywords=crochet ❤

      Handmade Channel thank you so much! This is extremely helpful! One more question! Lol I recently purchased some preciosa 10/0 seed beads, and I was so excited to start bead crocheting, but I couldn't fit my hook into the beads! 😔😔 I was so upset. Here are the beads: www.etsy.com/listing/119407852/size-100-opaque-eggshell-pearl-preciosa
      I was so disappointed...I do believe I misread the hole size. Are these seed beads made with different hole sizes? Do you know where I can get reliable 10/0 preciosa seed beads with a big enough hole for at least a 0.75mm crochet hook? Thanks once again for your help 😊

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska  6 років тому +2

      Hi, these 10/0 bead are completely OK. Preciosa seed beads are not made with different hole sizes. The problem is that when you bead crochet, you don't put your crochet hook into the seed bead hole but you put the hook under the whole seed bead. Skip the tutorial to 15:30 min and you will see it clearly. ❤
