First boss starts at (1:21)
It's time for the final battles of Sora's story! Marluxia's second form can only use one card at a time but his attacks are alot like sleights and he's likely to break your cards easy. When you first start the fight you must destroy his scythe first, then you can attack the body. However once the scythes are gone he will use sleights that have him moving fast and out of your attack range. They're easy to dodge and break but you'll have a hard time attacking him while he's moving.
Second Boss starts at (7:00)
Now for Marluxia's final form with arguably the best song in the game! This time he fights like he has a deck but his sleights actually have a fixed number value.
Gale of Severance is 24, Doom is 18, Whirlwind to the Void is 21, Circle Reject is 15, and Omni Laser is 12.
You can easily break all of his sleights if you use sleights with a card value higher than 25 or if you brought a ton of Zero cards. Out of all the sleights Doom is the worst cause if you don't break the curse than he will instantly Kill you. SEE!? He is a Grim Reaper!
Once Marluxia is Defeated, this ends Sora's story but not the game. Cause now it's time to play another story. This Monday I will start uploading, Reverse Rebirth.

That scene where Namine tells Sora to choose and he chooses his old memories, that really got me in the feels. She sounded so hurt.

Much as I hated the cards mechanic of this game, goddamn if it didn't have a great final boss. Fucking Grim Reaper Marluxia, just for this version. Props to SE for this one

This is the hardest battle that I've ever experienced more than battles I fought with the other bosses.
For me this battle is easy spam lethal frame, mega flare ragnarok and his card make him a joke
For me the hardest was Larxen 2, she is too fast for my glass Canon sora , it took me 4th time and rebuild my deck to finally defeat that bitch
@@MrGufta fr, I was so tired of dealing with this game's convoluted card system when I got stuck on her that I Just bought a Lot of stop cards and spammed stop card + 2 attack cards sleight. I Just wanted to finish Re:CoM as fast as I could so I could play KH2 so I Just used them for the rest of the game lmao. Until I fought Marluxia and then I actually preffered to fight him legit, without game breaking sleights, Just heal cards, 9s and 0s, It was Fun doing It that way, especially during the last battle, so I gotta give some recognition for the game's card system for that moment.

Who would've thought Stretlitzia was there with Marluxia this whole time. Nomura you goddamn plan this whole thing up. Now, the question to who is the person behind marluxia in this battle is answered. I know people would not believe it yet but the revelation in the KHUX game has made it clear.

Well, L for me guys. I got stuck at Axel 2 and decided to watch through the rest. Was only like level 47 anyways and I just lost all hope in the battle system. This was a great story, albeit the crummy card mechanic. Anyways great video!
Do what I did, put all the ceroes on the left side of the recharger and all attack cards on the right. And health cards on the middle. Also, use as many number 9 cards as you can.
Then you did something wrong!
3-4 Level Ups in a row on Card points and then on HP! ... Everytime again! ... You dont even need new Abilitys! ...
My first 12 Cards are ICE! ... A Lot of dmg! Meanwhile you attack with 20-30 Keycards and 1 or 2 ZERO Cards to dodge, Final elixir, Mega Potion and Mega Ether! ... Thats all what you need... you have to deal with the game mechanics... not just rushing them! ... No flexing here i rushed the game weeks ago (KH Marathon) on Proud without problems because Bilzzaga is OP!!!
You need some zeroes and lots of blizzard raids, should be easier

This game is trash brun what you talking about recycled locations and bosses all throughout. You fight the Org 13 characters like 2/3 times each 💀 and Riku like 4 times? Devs were super lazy with this game.

I played it and I was so extremely lucky I defeated Marluxia on my first try on the 2nd and 3rd fight. But not in the 1st battle because I did it on my second try.

Tbh i wish they used this health system and the damage from these attacks in the gba verson. If they made a remastered verson of this that be so dam awesome like this was my second favorite of the KH franchise

This final boss was so easy. I thought it was going to be super hard, but nope. I guess once you "git gud" you can beat everyone in this game.
That is almost every game ever. I think the original on GBA might have been harder, despite lacking the second phase.
@@johnathonturner2279 On GBA, it is easy, just far more tedious. Imagine the same fight, but constantly lagging, while having even less chances to hit Marluxia in general.
The PS2 version adds a new form, which while it can be easy, can also be challenging. That's Chain of Memories at it's core. The game can either be incredibly broken or painfully difficult depending on how you play.

@@johnathonturner2279 Um...which fight are you talking about then? If it's the first Marluxia fight (where he's on foot), then there's not much lag in that fight. If it's the true final boss where you're in the space-like void, then the game always lags there.

Phase 2: FIxed the fight, but it were imposible it fixed the horrible presentation the First phase had
Wow, this ending is significantly worse than the GBA version. Why even show another shot of Sora floating in the pod if you weren’t going to tease the KH2 version of the character? That was the whole point of the original post credits ending.
I fucking hated the gameplay in this game really pissed me off coming off kingdom hearts one
