- Опубліковано 18 чер 2024
- Today we leave the van to get and inside look at some of the most stunning sites in all of Bosnia and the sites you can see near the capitol city of Sarajevo. Curt's buddy Tim has designed a special tour of the nature specifically with Snow's heart condition in mind. Tim has lived in Bosnia for thirty years, wrote the Brandt travel guide to Bosnia & Herzegovina and is commonly know as the Bosnia Guy. This day was such an amazing gift. Thank you Tim! We hope everyone enjoys.
Cheers
Snow and Curt

I know this will sound crazy but back when they were at war, whenever I heard the word 'Sarajevo' I used to feel like I had been there before. I felt like I wanted to go back, like it was home. I've never been there. Now that I see it, I do love it. Maybe it was my home. Who knows. Thank you.
I felt the same way the day I arrived in Sarajevo. It’s a special place
Maybe a past life regression is where you’ll find the answer!
I always had a connection to Sweden. Castles, hills. Did my family history, and found out our family came Sweden.
There are very few True blue flowers in the world. The beautiful Star-shaped flowers you found on your pre-lunch hike are the rare Bosnian Gentian. What an incredible find 😍😍😍😍😍.

A village perched high above the treeline is picturesque, but what a hard life those people have! Tim's historical background info is so illuminating ... just proves that religion is not immutable. It changes to accommodate peoples' needs at the time, that's what keeps it healthy and alive. Wonderful, thanks for taking us along.
So lovely! Imagine that for your back yard. You're very fortunate to have a friend like Tim!
So beautiful! Thank you for taking us with you on Tim’s tour.
How cool to sit in my chair in North Carolina and have you take me all around the world. We truly live on an amazing planet and I am finding out there are parts of this world that we never knew existed! All to be revealed in the next several years. So exciting! thanks guys!
On our farm I was raised on, we raised the black faced Hampshire sheep.
We lived in central Pennsylvania.
Nice to see them again.
I'm English and remember watching the Olympics in Sarajevo. The famous ice dancing couple from England Torvill and Dean won the Gold Medal dancing to the music Bolero. I still watch that dance on UA-cam so a big thank you for showing the beautiful country side of Bosnia.
The road does not look like it is wide enough for 2 cars. Beautiful landscapes.
You two outdid yourselves again!
Thanks, @ziggy_bandicoot!
What an amazing time! Tim showed you the breath-taking beauty of Bosnia! Stellar video❤
Such an amazingly beautiful part of the world n I love that y'all tell the history that village that survived is just gorgeous I love that type of living it's pure untouched traditional way of life just a beautiful way of life thank you for sharing stay safe❤
Majestically beautiful. Thank you Snow, Curt and friends. I just don’t understand why more people aren’t watching these videos and giving it a THUMBS UP. It’s like another version of National Geographic.
SO BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL. THANKS FOR TAKING ME WITH YOU!!!!!🌝🩵🙏🌸
A couple of years ago we drove our van to that remote village. The highest and remotest village in Bosnia Herzegovina. We stopped over night there. Stunning views.
I was in Bosnia in June of 2001. It was beautiful and the people so thankful to the US.
Wow the views are absolutely stunning. I remember watching the 1984 Olympics and seeing the village of Sarajevo and thinking what a beautiful winter wonderland it was. It was so sad when the war there broke out and so many died. I'm glad peace has returned to the region. Tim and his friend are encyclopedia's of knowledge and so nice. The ancient stones reminded me of Stonehenge in England.
The Elder flower, I have dipped in batter and fried living here in Tennessee. The juice from the flower sounds good. The black Elderberries are now used as a cold and flu medicinal known by the name “Sambucol”.
I had no idea Bosnia was so beautiful and interesting. I knew a little about the war from the news but not much. Loved this tour very much
Can I just say Wow, the scenery is something off the jigsaw puzzles we put together as a kid, or something you would see in the National Geographic magazine.
The hidden gems in this video was awesome thanks for sharing
What a beautiful trip for Snow. I followed the Bosnia war in the 90s. I had several good friends that I met when I was there who became very good friends. One of the families came to America during that time and stayed in Arizona, where I lived at the time. They still live, and I moved to NM. I sent the link to them. What a wonderful friend you have. This was so special to me today. Be blessed in all your travels ahead.
The views are absolutely stunning, sometimes I have to look away because I'm afraid of heights, or at least I used to be , even though it's on a video. After going up a bald volcano (no vegetation, no guard rails ) in the Canary Islands, I could probably do almost anything now.
You and me both!
Beautiful ❤ Thank you Tim for the Snow day. Safe travels my friends see you next time. Cheers.
You are two of the most fortunate people on earth, your personal tour guide, Tim, is a goldmine! It is so special to have someone who can emphasize the importance of things you may come across and give you perspective, Bosnia is spectacularly beautiful, breathtaking actually! That coffee at Tim’s friend’s place, looked delicious! I envy your wonderful experiences but I am blessed to travel vicariously with you! Thank you and you look radiant Snow! Safe travels!💕🇨🇦
Snow, what a trooper you are. I know you have pain, you get tired and winded and yet you keep going. I know, because I have similar health issues. I love the amazing adventures you and Curt share with us and your happy giggles! Life throws us curveballs, I admire the way you and Curt have shared yours and how you just keep on truckin'. Thanks and God bless you both!
What a majestic place…. Stunning!! The work of Gods hands and the beauty there of….
I am continually impressed with beauty of Bosnia. Thank you Tim and of course Snow and Curt. ❤
That blocky architecture really strips away the character of such a beautiful place 😞 Reminds me of 1960s modernism.
Loved to see the Blue Crocus blooming wild on your trail and always fun to see the Lamb Jam with all the new born in toe. Thank you for another stunning video. ❤
Thank you, Tim! Wonderful day! You guys are teaching me so much about this beautiful world. Truly grateful.
I know its silly, but from the bottom of my heart, thank you for showing me this part of Europa.
When I tell people I dont wanna go to Thailand, I wanna see Europa first, they just dont laugh and wonder what am I thinking. THIS IS WHAT I am thinking guys!
I love watching your videos. You get to see so much that normal visitors would not. That village was amazing and so were the views!
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a fascinating and beautiful place! It was nice of Tim to show you around. He's so knowledgeable. Oh yes, and by the way, I hope you saved the kitties some food, the little beggars!❤😸😿😽💕
I heard Banja Luka is a lovely city, maybe worth trying. I love Novi Sad and the lovely Tara mountain and the Danube where is bordering Romania.
Thanks to Tim for taking you on this excellent excursion that even Snow could manage. The mountain views are spectacular! I felt the peace and wonder Snow pointed out as they were leaving. I will watch this video again just to take in the beauty. One more fabulous day to share with us. You guys ROCK!
We are glad you enjoyed the video @suerop!
Sarajevo is nice I worked there in the 90’, but my favourite is ❤ Belgrade.❤ is magical.
👍🤩💝Fantastic video. I’m the same type of guide for friends as Tim & Manever (I’m sure I didn’t spell his name correctly). I love sharing history info & places that friends probably would have overlooked. The views were awesome. Thanks for sharing. Safe travels. 🙏💝
What spectacular mountains. How fortunate you were to have Tim, the perfect guide! I love seeing the sheep. The history was so interesting. Hard to imagine what the people in this country have been through.
Yup! Could hear the kitty! 🤣 loving the dance move! Such a beautiful country. I had an uncle who was Check. He is gone now. Miss him lots. 💕🤗😊
I have really loved all your travels in Albania! It is beautiful and peaceful there. You can go from gorgeous beaches to beautiful mountain tops!! I have to say, I might like to live there! ♥️☮️🙏🏻🌈🐈⬛🐈
Again showing us the real - ie not the media made - version of a country. Loved learning about Bosnia and its history

Well done, Snow - and to Tim for working a good outing for you. Stunning scenery and what history... YAM xx
👍🤩💝 💡Also…..@ 14:52 “largest *karst* field in the world”
💡Karst is a topography formed from the dissolution of soluble carbonate rocks such as limestone, dolomite, and gypsum. It is characterized by features like poljes (a polje, the word is devired from the Slavic language, is also called karst polje or karst field) above and drainage systems with sinkholes and caves underground.
The word polje literally means 'field', whereas in English polje specifically refers to a karst plain or karst field.
@ 18:21 / 18:26 Koliba means shepherd's hut, cabin, cottage, hut
Gorgeous views. Snow, how do you like the hiking poles? I have been debating on getting some.
I’d love to see it with a light dusting of snow!! ❤
Elder Flower, lemon, and lavender blondies are amazing by the way.
Beautiful part of the World. Thanks for sharing. Dear Snow, look after your heart ❤️
Thank you… I love the small villages with the farm animals.
The beauty continues ❤wonderful to have experienced guides to add to the local adventures ❤❤❤

Kurt’s high school has spewed out a bunch of world travelers 😂😂😂. That’s a compliment to it.
Yes, curious about the backstory of Tim moving to Bosnia.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 You are both so lucky to have Tim and his friend. Awesome day.
Yes we are
Such a nice place! What a delicious coffee you’ve had, hum?!
Thank you for sharing. I’m too old to travel there so I’m glad to have your video.
I think love Bosnia! 😊
Ooo! I had to look up the benefits of elderflower. Pretty good health benefits.
It looks like a special place. Loved hearing the kitties and sheep.

Magnificent place and beautifully executed video in every way!
Thank you! You have a great friend in Tim.
Simply beautiful…wow
Cool episode guys! I can see why you liked Bosnia so much!
I wish you guys would show the different grocery stores you go into. ❤😊
Great video, liked the tombstones and the beauty of the country!
What a gorgeous region, and how fortunate you were to be given a private, customized tour. So sad that they endured the horrors of war. It's such a shameful waste when we can't live together in peace. Thank you so much for sharing all you can of your wonder-filled journey through beautiful areas that I would otherwise never see. Safe travels. Much love from Maine.
Hi, I'm from Brazil, I recommend you visit Brazil, there are many very beautiful places, you haven't seen even half of my wonderful country, it's so unique, they're so beautiful, I want to cry
They spent a good amount of time in Brazil! Check their video library! But of course your country is so big, like the USA, you can’t see it all on one trip. Brazil is gorgeous!
We love Brazil and visited many places there. It is a big country! Search our channel, we have two playlists from Brazil.
@@SnowAndCurt Brazil is just a place of beautiful places, Brazil is also a great producer of cars and everything else, you Americans have a totally wrong view of Brazil, which is less than what so-called first world countries, the United States hides a lot of things from Americans, you were left knowing that canada declared war on the united states it is a civil war i am informed there is movement in american cities brazil and the united states are allies
@@user-os1dr1dv8d❓❓❓why are you making that comment directed at Snow and Curt?
Love watching these before I start my day..TY
Be well Be kind (Dd)
I am not seeing a link for Tim's trail website?? I looked in your description. I would like to send it to my friend who travels just for these types of walking hikes.

Good morning, what a wonderful country, so beautiful. Cheers. ❤😊🎉
Absolutely beautiful, and I've learned a lot from your journeys. Thank you!!! Thanks for sharing. I really appreciate the two of you !!!❤😊❤
Wow!!! That was an INCREDIBLE tour! Thank you, Tim, for the awesome guided tour!
I was surprised that the song during your hike before your lunch brought tears to my eyes. I lost my husband in 8/22, and grief still hits me when I least expect it, and probably always will. Good video guys❤
