I really needed this motivation to build something meaningful and put on my resume unlike common projects so that I can apply for internships in my sophomore year
Bro watching this made me so excited to go to a hackathon. I don’t know if it’s just they way you share your stories or what but damn does it seem fun. I’m definitely going to try to have as much fun as you this coming semester
Not a regular commenter, but bro, this video had me pumped! So much energy, inspiration, and passion! Loved the vibes, music choice👌, and editing. Informative with visuals, videos, real-life examples. Can't wait for more! 🙌🔥
im starting to learn to code, and I'm also going to university this year for software engineering and you really helpt me choose my path and I want to thank you for that. keep on making videos I love watching your content!

Is it possible for someone like me who is majoring in a completely unrelated field to break into tech through uni related events like hackathons, classes, and meetups? I plan on minoring in CS and I’m currently self learning through the Odin project. I just know that if I switch to majoring in CS now I won’t be able to graduate on time which is why I’m in this position.
yes, I did it as a chem/bioeE major, you can def do it. If you really start enjoying SWE while you're a student I'd def try to land an internship before you graduate/consider doing a CS minor, or even adding a 5th year just to give an extra opportunity to apply for internships before you graduate. I pivoted into CS (self-studying) after graduating and landed a job so it's def possible! but its a lot easier without internship, but I know from friends who did similar pivots before graduating that it's way easier if you get an internship or two under your belt!
saying u are a very experienced hacker is just dunning kruger lmao, its just totatlly against the hacker spirit to believe such thing and just cringe to say it to other ppl
The defbeats project is actually an amazing idea! Having to travel to a radioshack just adds to the charm! Awesome video!
thanks dude! demoing and allowing people to actually wear the device made it super memorable
Yeah, taking the subway for 1 mile. 😂

Hackathons are fun but that data one was literally asking for free work
true
The professor at our datathon was tryna get us to compete by training his ML categorizing model 💀 most points were earned through that method
ah you could say the same thing about kaggle, bag's a bag
But you need free training though, that's a legit trade imo

All I’m taking from this is, the wheel probably wasn’t the first wheel. Hope that makes sense 😂😂 keep it up 👍🏾
Bro this is really Motivating, But how did you learn to do all of this.
What project I can do to help me get a job ?
I just started learning
Hi Namanh, did you create any project/s on your own without hackathons? If yes, what were they?
Can i know what all are the things u learnt apart from college that helped u too code these projects in hackathon
bro can you give the circuit diagram ot tutorial about the deafbeats?
So you didn't create any projects?
Really cool and unique video. I do really want to take part in hackathons what tech stacks I should be familiar with to do so.
What programming language should i learn to do all these things you did?Can someone tell me please
Once you learn one they are all similar. C++ or python is probably good tho
@@biggiecheez6879 i know c++ ,js and some java and python bro but i need it specific
Python is a good programming language for beginners. I’d recommend starting with that and learning C++/Java afterwards
You forgot what you made in Chicago? Even though it got you a job offer and you placed?? And you put it in the title of the video???
today i am gonna recycle the same video and just change it up a bit to keep getting youtube checks
This is a decent video, what was the need to use the clickbaity title?
