This might be the dumbest question yet, but here I go:
Why would the hero Leon is resonated to make a difference in the outcome? I mean, only the stats of the base hero are used, so why would, when comparing otherwise identical matches, it matter what base hero Leon is renovated to?

Bc newer resonate heros adopt the 3 skills of whoever they're resonating with. So if you resonate Leon with Maggie, he will have Maggie's skills, plus the one extra skill of his that can be upgraded.

We have to upgrade 1st skill first or rallies will be weak since it takes 1st skill and trails will be hard if you want to use them as support
