    I have been sitting here, looking thru all your "old" videos....HAHA!!!! Jenny, sweetie, in some of the first ones you are super nervous!!! I am soooo glad you stuck with it, and showed us all your true self. We ALL screw up, and laugh, while we create things, sometimes a "mistake" is really just another option!!! Thank you for the entertainment this evening, and I am going to watch all the '09 videos again!!! **Big Hug** You really are an awesome person!!!

    I was thinking "hot pad" or "trivet" instead of table topper. I love having some BIG hot pads for use on the table, so I don't have to really aim when setting down pots!

    @Tabascopeppers Yes!!! The grandkids were bored! You too can have your pins organized the same way...just let a child tell you he is bored and you get pin organization.

    Hey Jenny! I just love your videos! I found you online like 2 days ago, or was it 3? Anyway, before your videos I was very inhibited about going further than just the basic square patchwork! I have completed a Disappearing 9 patch quilt top, a Pinwheel quilt top and a half square triangle using Disappearing 9 patch blocks. All are child sized as I was using up fabric I had in my stash. I love circles and love this idea of using the border scraps! You are so quirky!

    JENNY, if you use one honey bun and one 10" square to make the "circle/square" quilt blocks, how big would that be (finished) the way you did it?

  • @judyobrien5443
    @judyobrien5443 9 років тому

    Oh okay, I have been watching you videos for like forever. Okay how much yardage is in a charm pack or a honeybun? My sister and I are sort of debating about this.

    Loved the quilt & I'm going together a circle template. I have one question, what brand is your black iron? I bought a pricey iron & it's so heavy that it dslocates my shoulder replacement. Can't fix that, but I coud replace the iron. Does your shop carry the one you use?that

    Was wondering if you could help. Love your videos. I have had two quilts now that have fallen apart on the first wash - prewashed fabric - 1/4 inch seams. Do you know what I,m doing wrong? Thanks for any tips you can give me.

      I think more information in needed to figure out what might be going on. Are you quilting them well? I've made several quilts and haven't had this problem

    ok i have a dumb question, but as my parents would say " The only dumb question is the ones not asked" But I want to make a quilt for my crafty grandma for Christmas but i don't have the rotary cutter could i use a box cutter instead? The quilting shop i use to shop at for cloth closed down and wal mart does not sell it, I'm looking at your site for fabric but not sure if i should just bite the bullet and get one that i might use once or twice or try my box cutter.

    Jenny can you use a circle ruler to scallop the edge of a quilt?

  • @Tabascopeppers
    @Tabascopeppers 13 років тому

    Hey Jenny! I noticed that your pins are grouped by colors. Is there a reason why?

  • @angiee3706
    @angiee3706 11 років тому

    I purchased this ruler but have a question, at the top it says circle sizes include 1/4" seam allowance, but then at the bottom of the ruler there is another dotted line that says half circle seam allowance. What is that line for? it didn't say in the directions that came with it. Thank you

  • @tara37830
    @tara37830 13 років тому

    @tara37830 i kinda figured but it seemed like it might of worked, i did not try it, im about to go see if my local craft shop sells them and a 45 degree ruler i thought i had one but i did not. so i am gonna just buy another one. thank you so much and i am gonna make a video of me making my quilt for youtube and the fourm.

    @tara37830 Also i have been Sewing since i was 5, and this will be my first real quilt and your videos have given me so many ideas and tips and tricks, Please keep up the good videos. ( and i am gonna try to do it on a machine instead of hand sewing everything, like i normally do, i am a bit nervous about the binding too.) Also, what cloth would you say goes great with the " Lost and found" Collection?
