That was a total destruction. Beautiful masterpiece by Arjun
Holy smokes, the speed at which Arjun has found the winning tactic is just mind blowing 🤯
I saw it before he did
No it's mine plowing
@@vincent21212 Well, good for you then 🙂 I am not even close to this level of chess
@@vincent21212Wow, so let's see the great GM Vincent face him to confirm his supremacy.
How this guy not completely BANNED from chess yet? He confirmed cheater and maggy called him out. He used computer guys against maggy, and that his mistake.
Holy crap, Arjun just completely dismantled Niemann's construction.
Construction? You mean analytical algebraic topology of locally Euclidean metrization of an infinitely differentiable Niemannian manifold?
Riemann Sums my favorite
@@Gytax0 Wauw! 👍
You mean Niemann's Hypothesis?
@@Mathematica1729 Ha! Not sure what happened there 😃
Superb tactics from Erigaisi. NIce attacking Sicilian.
The knight's sacrifice speaks for itself !
Winner 🏆
That was an unfair comment 😂
What a unique and completely original joke
😂
@@Quetzachapin Someone had to do it, it fell to me😬. Thank you for the trophy!
2:52 Hans reaction got me rolling😂😂😂
Must be uncomfortable to have those beads in there.
@@Chillypuwn With every bead, Magnus’s ego keeps getting pushed deeper and deeper. 😂
@@ultrasound1459 exactly 😂😂
I witnessed Hans's soul leaving his body.
He went astral travelling.
you wrote body, i read booty
You mean beads, as they weren't helping this game.

2:48 knight sacrifice
it wasn't a sacrifice.. he collected the free pawn.
@@MrAAMNNITAllahabaddo u know what a sacrifice means?
It's always cool af when players put the pieces back at the end of the game. Look how cool Arjun looks doing it
rarely seen niemann do it.
@@instrido580The rule is the winner has to do it
brutal. the knight sac choked whites position and white is completely passive as his queenside is destroyed. honestly hans defended pretty well but arjun played so accurately.
what a game Arjun !! crushing all the way !!
Looks like he felt a strong vibration…
Lmfao
How this guy not completely BANNED from chess yet? He confirmed cheater and maggy called him out. He used computer guys against maggy, and that his mistake.
This game sends vibrations throughout the chess world
😂😂😂 why so funny
Niemann felt some bad vibrations from this game.
U mean to say anal vibrations??
He went from a knight for 2 pawns down to 4 pawns up!!!! Demolition is only word for it.
Chess spoke for itself & Hans got a kick in the nuts 😀
Spent a minute to play one of the most classic beginning. Didn't notice a classic sacrifice in the opening. It's just wow. The guy didn't receive positive vibes this time.
Brilliant completely outplayed him. Proud of u arjun❤❤
The realization at 2:52 speaks for itself
That’s because he thought it was a sacrifice for just 2 pawns, then he realized he was going to lose the knight
Thanks
@@claudiog7692 Yeah , Arjun's Bishops played really well and I love Sicilian Dragon , although I play the accelerated one ( 2. ...Nc6)
It's not too often I'll watch a game twice .... but I had to make an exception with this one.
Vibration speaks for it self at 2:52
Lmao
🤣🤣🤣
Lovely to be able to see the reactions in their face
Knight spoke for itself.
Absolutely schooled him LMAO
He found the tactic so quickly !! Unbelievable play by Arjun !
P.S. Looks like Niemann also missed the Rxb2 tactic. But won't blame him to err in a completely losing position.
He had already the tactic in miond when he played knight b4 he was hoping to Hans to not see it and defend it and he did not.
Wow! Hans was pretty much dominated the whole game.
What are those pieces they’re playing with? What is the set called? looks quite good
Arjun played well. Hans couldn't find a way back into the game after ...Nxe4 2:48
But he still made an effort.

The butt guy didn’t even a single fart of counterplay. Well done, Arjun!

Impressive play by Erigaisi
when was this? before or after Sharjah?
What / where is Al-Ain Spring blitz tournament?
This looked like difference in a few hundred ELO points between them.
so you're saying arjun is a few hundred elo higher than stockfish
That's exactly a difference between them lol
Arjun is a superGM, and Hans is just 2600 player. That's why Magnus was furious 'low rated player can't beat me like that fairly'
I mean they are playing blitz, doesn't really say much.
@Alex Mao remember the time Hans beat Magnus in two moves.
What’s all the racket in the background?! That’s insane
Outclassed.
So satisfying
which chessboard is being used here?
super tactics
turns out hans was stunned by the buzz actually
What a crush!
Niemann stood up really scared.
Brilliant match, all coordination and with blacks 👏👏👏
That eval bar drop though 😅
It’s called a One move blunder
leading to a Totally Lost Position.
But Arjun’s Fans Call it Arjun’s Skill. 😂
@@johnnydoe3603 it is called falling for a tactic
Knight sac on e4 does appear in many dragon blitz games where white is inaccurate in the opening
Wow that was a sharp attack, wish I could do that.
Wow!
the real 1800 strength of Hans when there is no DGT board & live broadcast. I mean, at least he didnt blunder his queen. well done lad!
He still lives Rent Free in the
Minds of Fangirls of Magnus. 😂
It was the 9th round and Hans had one point less than Arjun in board 1, it’s easy to misjudge a player when you take in consideration his worst game instead of the whole tournament
@@johnnydoe3603 Still waiting for that proper post match interview by this guy. analyzing his game & making comments on other games. never seen before right? and thou shall never see !! :D
@@Very_Bad_Bishop weird that pretty much all other SuperGMs like Fabi that deal with him say he is easily 2700 strength, guess you are better at chess than them.

It wasn't a sacrifice..it was a fair deal..
This is not really a sacrifice. It actually devalues this tactical brilliancy.
I’m sending POSITIVE VIBES for Nieman’s next match
This is the first time that I have seen Niemann play and he looked like no match for Arjun, who totally crushed him.

10 seconds to find that knight sac .... Impressive AF (if you don't think so, watch the video, then, go back, pause at the rook move ans STILL try to figure it out)
His chess speaks for itself
Hans lost a lot of weight😅
This game spoke for itself in a self speaking way. Hans chess spoke non other than for himself. The way Hans left after the game without setting up the pieces spoke for his sportsmanship.
sportsmanship ...
Let the knight speak for itself.
Good boy Hans❤
Interesting that the clock stays on white's left side considering they're both left handed.
The knight sacrifice speaks for itself.
Hans must be doing well financially - looks like he's wearing a rose gold Chronoswiss watch which goes for $6000-8000 on the used market.
Just curious - where in the video can you determine its a Chronoswiss? Doesn't look like any reference I'm familiar with. Tbh from zooming in and looking at how tall the chapter ring is, I bet that's a pretty cheap watch. Though, it's hard to say what it is
i love hans
Chess Speaks for itself😂
Hens have a watch on his body...
Great to see Arjun beat Stockfish .
beat or use?
Thanks sagar for the engine . Appreciate it . Arjun lost last 2 games to finish 2nd otherwise 1st was there for the taking
He came first
@@stopover1238 this is the blitz tournament the day after
I need my #1 hype man!
Chess speaks for itself
What sacrifice! It was a tactic! The thing is that even I was able to see this brewing. 3-4 moves ago there was Nxe4 and Bxb2 leaving c2 weak, so in every move I was counting again to see if the sacrifice is worth it. This is nothing too complicated and a club player can easily see it. The thing is how did Niemann play so badly that he cannot see simple combinations. I've seen him repeatedly missing easy combinations... very strange.
I resumed the video only to see Niemann blunder yet again allowing Rxb2 and Bxc3! How is this guy a Super GM?
Hans really needs to stop going for ultra-sharp positions against players like Erigaisi. A Canal Attack (3. Bb5), KI Attack (g3+d3) or Dragon Fianchetto Variation (6. g3), while being theoretically inferior to the main line, far better suit his strengths as a player. It also amazed me to see Arjun playing the very old ...a5 line against the Classical. This is what I used to play but you will find relatively few games in the database for it since the early-mid 70s, with Qc8 and Rc8 being much more popular now. Finally, 13. Rfe1 is an obvious mistake here with the main move being 13. Nd4 (13. f5 being answered by 13...Rxc3). Indeed, this little dance of the Qside knights is one of the hallmarks of the line and it speaks (for itself) Niemann's unfamiliarity with the position that he missed it.
Bro calm down
@@adityakayet9056 shut up
This game had little to do with the mainline though. I have never seen 6. Nb3 and the Lichess Masters OTB database also shows that it has been played in 3/18.455 games. Through some transpositions, we do reach a fairly common position, to be fair, but it is definitely a sideline that seems to be meant to catch Erigaisi off-guard.
I completely agree with the rest of your assessments, though I would also not be against Niemann going into the topical 6. Be3 Bg7 7. f3 O-O 8. Qd2 Nc6 9. O-O-O d5 10. exd5 Nxd5 11. Nxc6 bxc6 12. Bd4 line :)
Maybe he knows/fears that Erigaisi is going to deviate with something like 7... Nc6 followed by 8... h5 or 6... Nc6 followed by 7... h5 instead? I doubt it.
Relax you guys speaking codes😅
You used to play this line? What's the context here...are you a tournament player, chess master or what??
Se amenazaba sacrificio de caballo desde que se jugó ...Nb4. Bien logrado por Erigaisi.
Those beads were working overtime at the start of the video
arjun's knight speaks for itself
naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa mr wilks!
Chess speaks for itself.
Hans is vibrating hard..
Arjun dismantling stockfish holy smokes
What's up with all these weird comments? Objectively speaking Hans is a fantastic chess player, even if he got owned in this game. He's not a proven OTB cheater so people may as well stop it with the slander. I say that as a Magnus supporter.
Funny how rook e1 causes eval bar to shift so much! I didn’t see anything obvious there.
Hans didn't have time to check the engine 😂😂
He is beating hans like unrated.
Hans couldn't stop to set the pieces back on the board ?
How can Hans play with wrist watch? Is wrist watches allowed in FIDE? As far as i know, its not allowed in India
Niemann needs his engine back.
Hans hasn't been the same since his colon surgery
This is the actual level of Hans! Lol
this must have been a full body cavity search tournament
1. this is a blitz game 2. Hans is surprised by the Dragon for Black and plays the insipid 6.Nb3 2:34 losing move (Re1??) a horrible blunder, strange to see a 2700 make such a bad move...the usual plan in those positions is to leave the Rook on f1
4:49 at this point why don't he takes knight.. if he takes knight.. then he can attack on rook on his next move any one can explain me ..
Chess speeks for itself 😊😂
2:48 when the sacrifice happening.
And u are telling me that he won against magnus
Arjun is a futur WC
Unfortunately I don't think so.
Arjun's horse neighs for itself
Dang Hans need to pick up a dumbbell
Can someone please explain the continuation. I can’t see why he resigned. Thank you
He's just down 4 pawns in a hopeless endgame.
Arjun is up 4 pawns and Hans' queen is overloaded defending both the Rook and the Bishop. Arjun can force a queen trade within a few more moves and the endgame is completely winning for Arjun, plus Arjun has nearly 2 minutes on the clock still vs a few seconds for Hans.
Thank you guys
In blitz there's still a reasonable chance Arjun might have made a blunder, but for Hans, given the accusations, it is more about honor, so he was forced to resign. He wasn't just down pieces. He was also down time.
@@jason.arthur.taylor with all due respect, there’s virtually no chance Arjun is blundering from this position even in a blitz game (especially with increment).
Arjun still had close to 2 minutes remaining of his 3 minute starting timer vs 1 second for Hans at the time of resignation. Arjun would trade queens within a few moves and be in a simplified endgame that is completely winning. A super GM isn’t going to blunder that away, especially since he’s still very comfortable on time.
It's odd that they have the clock placed on the "wrong side" for left-handed Arjun.
Arjun gives nieman Knightmare.!!!
that's just the look he gets when the beads go off
Ohhhh... that evaluation bar. Now the viewers see what the engine sees, as if it takes away the human's chance to evaluate the position. Quite similar when Petrosian once said about those printed exclamation notations: the chess player's study of chess games is affected and he tends to be a lazy thinker.
