When using a concealer as a foundation base, how do you usually pick your shade? You just apply and blend it out?

I did the same sunscreen switch! Love it but feeling weird about the silicone feel. Might be fine, but I think I will like the glow one better, so will try that one next :) Love how it is truly clear!
