I loved the show in last seasons it was rushed but I could still understand up to killing of demon king but now when that chaos shit pulled up I was so confused I didn’t get it and didn’t realize another show every started
One of my main issues with the series, aside from the animation in the later two seasons, is how many characters get sidelined as the series progresses. I know this series is primarily about “the seven deadly sins”, but there are a number of characters outside of the main nine with much more interesting arcs that get pushed to the side in favour of the Sins, plus Elizabeth and Hawk. Jericho was probably one of my favourite characters from season 2 and she’s set up at the end of the season to be getting more focus after inheriting her brother’s powers and then the show just… forgets about her. Her dynamic with Ban was probably one of my favourite dynamics in season 2 and even though they didn’t end up together, it was nice getting to watch her devotion to him, especially when she is the one who brings Elaine back to her senses. After Gustav died and she inherited his powers, I thought for sure we’d get an arc with her training to become a Holy Knight in his place, or maybe even surpass him. But again, the show just kinda forgets about her. And she’s not the only one either. We’re told at the beginning of season 3 that Howzer will become the next Grandmaster (for the time being), and then we barely see him in action. Again, I would have no problem with this series being primarily about the Sins, if the series didn’t give us many more interesting characters outside of the main cast in the first two seasons and sideline them in favour of the Sins. Jericho, Guila, Gilthunder, Howzer, Griamore, Hendrickson, and ESPECIALLY Dreyfus get sidelined HARD in the later seasons after getting arcs in the first two seasons that are arguably way more compelling than any of the main cast. Hendrickson and Dreyfus were my favourite characters from season 2 and it hurt watching them get almost no focus in season 3 onward after having arguably the best storyline from season 2. That being said, despite its problems, the seven deadly sins will forever hold a special place in my heart. It was my first anime and nothing will ever beat the feeling of watching it for the first time. I still vividly remember my hype for season 3, watching it as it was airing in Japan, watching it again when the English dub dropped on Netflix, I could go on for ages if I wanted to.

THANK YOU. I really didn't understand why people didn't love this show when I first started watching it. Granted there are some...questionable moments here and there, especially in season 1 with Meliodas and his perverted nature lol, and the animation in later seasons. And honestly that whole Chaos part I could have done without as well. But besides that it was such a good show! I loved the medieval style and the ost's matching it, Meliodas' theme being the best imo, the fantasy element and pure tragedy as well was just so well written. I hope that it gets a second chance with people.
In terms of the whole Meliodas being perverted thing, it never came across to me as anything to be taken too seriously and I never took it at face value. Although that’s not to say it doesnt get borderline WEIRD. Meliodas stealing Elizabeth‘s underwear definitely had me cringing and Elizabeth’s line at the end of season 2 after she reunites with him was extremely out of pocket
There are 3 things that i wanted to say about this video, first of all Gowther does get nice when he gets his heart back, i really like him at the end of the series, maybe people just overlook it but he's actually nice, or maybe the VA just can't make me believe that anything he says isn't peaceful and caring. Also zeldris for some reason becomes cute when gelda is mentioned, its like he's on a 0-100 scale where 0 is Evil Leader of the Most feared group ever and 100 is an introvert little brother that likes boobs because of course he does, must run in the family and third, the whole chaos arc was really just a setup for the 4 Knights of Apocalypse, or maybe just in devotion to the theme of chaos they just made it impossible to comprehend
18:38 actually no, gowain is a half giant/half fairy, but it's just that the fairy genes are very dominant which end up cancelling out the gargantuan height granted by the giant genes which ends up just making her as big as an above average size human.
King and Diane’s child hasn’t been mentioned yet I think it’s the giant named after Diane’s friend that died in her flashback The girl u thought was their child is SOMEHOW Arthur’s niece (didnt kno he had siblings but we move) and she’s been taught by Merlin to be a mage but she also somehow has a grace Idk how but it is quite interesting
ive rewatched sds 3 times it does have a place in my heart its just epic but my recent rewatch i watched the final season but the last few episodes was genuinely not needed could just ended it there
Season 1 was the best. Also, love this video. It's super funny and the humor editing is top tier. A show I would recommend if you haven't yet reviewed/seen yet is 86. It's an absolute banger in all parts IMO.
Its already my favorite anime and if aniplex stayed as the animators it would have been absolute peak though I believe it already is its just crazy to imagine we could have had the animation of Prisoners of the Sky through the entire show it was just absolutely amazing
In the movie they actually "explain" (they give you a big hint)the fact that mama pig Is actually White and the green Is Moss, She's the mother of Chaos and a group of goddessess workships her as the savior, so Merlin explains her and we see that mama pig Is actually White
How you gonna gloss over Zeldris' struggle against the sins? The sins themselves call his determination "ghastly" he's tearing himself apart to keep the cocoon intact, and he just keeps going.
The plot/story was great story but there was mediocre story telling/pacing at certain times. The twists were good or unexpected. Sometimes they were hinted and other times they were impossible to predict but still good. The characters and interactions are great. They all felt deep in some way. The main cast and side cast was actually developed. It was very experimental and did whatever it wanted. The characters were all well written and fully explored, one of the best cast of characters in battle anime. Everyone was in fact sexy lol. The villains were all great. There were some villains that swapped sides that made sense but might have been better if they were gone instead of allies. The twists were all good imo, until the chaos one. The fights were all good and had stakes even if fake deaths occured a lot, there were plenty of real deaths that happened and they took plenty of Ls and the afterlife in the story was actually shitty instead of rainbows and sunshine. It also showed you can still die and have your soul die too. The side characters died a lot tbh as well. The animation had its ups and downs. Overall I loved it despite all of its flaws. It was a very bingeable show and probably best when bingewatched.
The first 3 seasons were fucking insane and season 3 was definitely my favorite. Season 1 was great but season 2 was really really short so I don't know if it counts as an actual season, kinda felt like a little break after the madness of season 1. Season 3 where (SPOILERS) Meliodas dies to the ten commandments was heart wrenching to me. I loved it wholeheartedly and while the fight was happening it had an eery feeling about it. And I didn't know what would happen unlike in most anime. Shit was amazing
Hold on I got something else that made me just absolutely despise Merlin. Merlin was so selfish to see chaos, that she REACTIVED ELIZABETH'S CURSE just so she can see chaos and Arthur become the chaos king.
I will say it was known in the manga and if you watched the movie that chaos existed and was the giant pig. Is it still dumb, yes. Is there some foreshadowing with Arthur, yes but it’s like 100 chapters before he reappears cause he was dead so it feels jarring
The god damn problem is that every character is dating a child (but shes a bajillion years old actually so its ok), GROOMED a child from birth (king towards diane, and meliodas stop groping the 16 year old who thinks youre her uncle), and lets not forget gowther planting memories that geera loved him, and when he released her mentioned having "stained" her, thats flat out rape, not even statutory with like his friends
I do love the seven deadly sins anime but I feel like it's super underrated in my opinion because Netflix on the rights to streaming and a lot of people have strange feeling about Netflix I feel like Netflix she stayed away of streaming like Shonen Jump anime into their service because a lot of people just don't care from Netflix like that I'm not saying Netflix can't have anime in this streaming service but Shonen Jump anime animes like seven deadly sins
Literally the definition of “had us in the first half not gonna lie” was such an incredible anime with superb animation that got caught in the production hell where the main animation studio got too busy and just shoved it to another already underpaid and understaffed studio. Then adding insane deadlines with little no extra funding
i mean id rate it a soild c tier. plot was shaky demon king was honestly one of the worst antagonists I've ever seen maybe I've been spoiled but his personality and goal was so Boring. had some great characters tho the real saving grace

there's just one thing you missed that you should check out before the four knights of the apocalypse and that's the 2nd 7ds movie, cursed by light. it's a canon movie that fills in the blanks between the events of ep 24 and 25 and it serves to showcase the end of the era of gods and the start of the era of chaos, which is what eventually leads to the start of the sequel that is the 4 knights of the apocalypse. AND the cherry on top is that the movie ACTUALLY had really fantastic animation, so if you're craving that oh so good animation quality that you probably missed a lot from s1 and s2, then this should definitely satisfy you + it has some epic fight scenes aswell and is actually pretty good story wise.

I try 3 times with this Anime and for my opionim this anime is trash ! Story is 0815, Character are boring ass fuck
@@bellablondon6172if you don’t mind me asking, what did he say to her after they reunited? It’s been a while since I watched I don’t remember
meliodas is straight up horny
There are 3 things that i wanted to say about this video,
first of all Gowther does get nice when he gets his heart back, i really like him at the end of the series, maybe people just overlook it but he's actually nice, or maybe the VA just can't make me believe that anything he says isn't peaceful and caring.
Also zeldris for some reason becomes cute when gelda is mentioned, its like he's on a 0-100 scale where 0 is Evil Leader of the Most feared group ever and 100 is an introvert little brother that likes boobs because of course he does, must run in the family
and third, the whole chaos arc was really just a setup for the 4 Knights of Apocalypse, or maybe just in devotion to the theme of chaos they just made it impossible to comprehend
halfway through the video, very funny love this 😂
Amazing video. I love the Seven Deadly sins so it's nice to see some seven deadly sins love
18:38 actually no, gowain is a half giant/half fairy, but it's just that the fairy genes are very dominant which end up cancelling out the gargantuan height granted by the giant genes which ends up just making her as big as an above average size human.
FINALLY, somebody recognizes Jericho 😢
I love this Show thank you for the review!
Predicted the future with the Jericho in the new story ☠️
King and Diane’s child hasn’t been mentioned yet I think it’s the giant named after Diane’s friend that died in her flashback
The girl u thought was their child is SOMEHOW Arthur’s niece (didnt kno he had siblings but we move) and she’s been taught by Merlin to be a mage but she also somehow has a grace
Idk how but it is quite interesting
King and Diane probably had multiple kids
ive rewatched sds 3 times it does have a place in my heart its just epic but my recent rewatch i watched the final season but the last few episodes was genuinely not needed could just ended it there
Season 1 was the best.
Also, love this video. It's super funny and the humor editing is top tier.
A show I would recommend if you haven't yet reviewed/seen yet is 86. It's an absolute banger in all parts IMO.
Season 2 is better than season 1 in a lot of aspects, both amazing tho
Its already my favorite anime and if aniplex stayed as the animators it would have been absolute peak though I believe it already is its just crazy to imagine we could have had the animation of Prisoners of the Sky through the entire show it was just absolutely amazing
Then what about all the valid Points
made by 'Mothers Basement' when he talks about the Show?
My favorite charecter is Escanor!
In the movie they actually "explain" (they give you a big hint)the fact that mama pig Is actually White and the green Is Moss, She's the mother of Chaos and a group of goddessess workships her as the savior, so Merlin explains her and we see that mama pig Is actually White
This one was great,my suggestion for a short series that I liked is vampire knight
such wasted potential , i rlly loved the first season of this anime and the second one was pretty gud ,but then the fire nation attacked
the king analysis has me cracking up
I'm late as hell but bro you gotta watch Prison School if you haven't already one of the funniest shows I've seen in awhile
Entertaining vid put go refresh your memory of some events haha
this is going to be such a random question but what font did you use for your thumbnail?
"cause i know he didnt even hit yet"
Seven Deadly Sins has good ideas, but fumbles with how it does some story stuff. How it does characters however is immaculate
1 year later his pridiction with tristan bans son and jericho happend only that they couldnt
How you gonna gloss over Zeldris' struggle against the sins? The sins themselves call his determination "ghastly" he's tearing himself apart to keep the cocoon intact, and he just keeps going.
I think the chaos arc was something that you could only fully enjoy if you watched the movies and looked at all the small details building up to it
18:04 you have no idea what happened between these two my dude read the manga and see why
You have to do a video on four knights of the apocalypse when it comes out
wow respect in 2023 you were trying to get 10k and now you're just above 70k in 2024, great work!
the manga is an absolute easy 10 out of 10.
Elite manga ; unlucky anime.
Also sorting out the ‘criminal😂’ moments would help for some people watching this show
I loved how the translation of knight is horseman of the apocalypse.
It was a very bingeable show and probably best when bingewatched.
fair enough, for the anime recommendation, i recommend GOH (god of high school) cuz ngl I loved this
I saw that one I wasn’t the biggest fan ngl
It was horribly paced in the anime
that Ronald Mcdonald edit had me rollin
bro this was fkin hilarious and im only halfway thru the vid
The first 3 seasons were fucking insane and season 3 was definitely my favorite. Season 1 was great but season 2 was really really short so I don't know if it counts as an actual season, kinda felt like a little break after the madness of season 1. Season 3 where (SPOILERS)
Meliodas dies to the ten commandments was heart wrenching to me. I loved it wholeheartedly and while the fight was happening it had an eery feeling about it. And I didn't know what would happen unlike in most anime. Shit was amazing
I'd love for you to watch the abridged version of this show by the shmuck squad
They really upped the quality in many ways
3:29 he's actually 5'3 in his base form, and 5'11 in his gigachad tall form when he fully grows his wings
Hold on I got something else that made me just absolutely despise Merlin. Merlin was so selfish to see chaos, that she REACTIVED ELIZABETH'S CURSE just so she can see chaos and Arthur become the chaos king.
I watched the whole seven deadly sins like 14 times Ik every single episode 😂, it is my fav anime tbh.
Ong you a bit weird
Glad I’m not the only one, screw the haters if you got time to stress on other peoples interests you got time to get bitches
@@snax7760 Bro mind your own buisness
@@rs.ae7 Why? Free comments section and unlike you I’m not wasting my brain cells dictating what someone can and can’t enjoy

Hmm 🤔 Elfen Lied is a pretty wild and interesting show so I think that would make a good one to do a review on 😅
man sds is my first anime that i watched that was not on yt like clips man it was fire back in 2018 for me
I will say it was known in the manga and if you watched the movie that chaos existed and was the giant pig. Is it still dumb, yes. Is there some foreshadowing with Arthur, yes but it’s like 100 chapters before he reappears cause he was dead so it feels jarring
Just content wise in the manga I’d say I go back and forth about how I feel about the last 100 chapters
The first couple seasons are really good in my opinion but it goes reaaally nutty towards the end ..
And that why i am asking once again if everyone could please read the manga (:
I love this creator in the fact that he dosent go off of everyone’s opinions and shares his own.
How right he was abt Lancelot and Jericho Is insane
I do love the seven deadly sins anime but I feel like it's super underrated in my opinion because Netflix on the rights to streaming and a lot of people have strange feeling about Netflix I feel like Netflix she stayed away of streaming like Shonen Jump anime into their service because a lot of people just don't care from Netflix like that I'm not saying Netflix can't have anime in this streaming service but Shonen Jump anime animes like seven deadly sins
You should watch the movie it explains hawks mom and the movie is pretty good
First few seasons are goated was one of my first anime’s back when there were only 2 seasons on Netflix and really got me into anime
Literally the definition of “had us in the first half not gonna lie” was such an incredible anime with superb animation that got caught in the production hell where the main animation studio got too busy and just shoved it to another already underpaid and understaffed studio. Then adding insane deadlines with little no extra funding
I love it i have watched it more 200 times i love it
If they reanimated the entire 3-4th season it would be immaculate but sadly the manga takes an astounding dub in my eyes
I’ve heard super good things about the manga, might give it a read when I catch up on one piece
Lol "she's 16 brotha" had me dying!!
Ohh
thanks for watching it!
BTW, Don't watch the recent trailers of "Grudge of Edinburgh" movie. Even bad than season 3!
ikr it had berserk 2016 level of cgi
i mean id rate it a soild c tier. plot was shaky demon king was honestly one of the worst antagonists I've ever seen maybe I've been spoiled but his personality and goal was so Boring. had some great characters tho the real saving grace
It's amazing to finally see how op Arthur is even if they are trying to nerf him in the sequel if he masters that power he might just beat goku
Bro you funny af 😂
If you're a fan of intense psychological thrillers with a dash of suspense and drama, "Tomodachi Game" is an anime you shouldn't miss. This series combines friendship, betrayal, and survival in a gripping narrative Now there are 12 ep
there's just one thing you missed that you should check out before the four knights of the apocalypse and that's the 2nd 7ds movie, cursed by light.
it's a canon movie that fills in the blanks between the events of ep 24 and 25 and it serves to showcase the end of the era of gods and the start of the era of chaos, which is what eventually leads to the start of the sequel that is the 4 knights of the apocalypse. AND the cherry on top is that the movie ACTUALLY had really fantastic animation, so if you're craving that oh so good animation quality that you probably missed a lot from s1 and s2, then this should definitely satisfy you + it has some epic fight scenes aswell and is actually pretty good story wise.
B the beggining please such a under rated anime or series of jeager
