Phil matty🤣🤣🤣🤣. Got eeem!! Love watching the old videos and seeing the future stars of today
I'm sure it's hard work to record multiple games in their entirety at these tournaments, but we all very much appreciate it, DW! This is a great way for us to see who's playing where and to get an idea of how the season will play out. Thanks so much, man!
I am going to try to do 2 or 4 of these condensed games at every tournament I go to.
You all prolly dont give a damn but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account..?
I somehow lost my account password. I love any tips you can offer me
@Everett Tobias Instablaster ;)
@Theodore Coen Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and im in the hacking process atm.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Theodore Coen It did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thank you so much, you really help me out :D
bubba mack is so good
Bill Belichick on the mic
Loved the side view of the game plan. You can see the speed of the pitches a lot better. Would like some more behind the ump low views perhaps to see the movement on the pitches. Although some of the guys don't really seem to be able to make their pitches move much at all. Maybe I didn't see right but some of those strike calls seemed like deep pitches. I loved watching the guys who went oppo for power. It ain't easy. I hit bombs myself, but haven't brought the oppo aspect of it to the field.
It was hard to get behind the umpire on that field. Not much room.
The strike zone is not defined by where the ball lands. Both those called strike 2 pitches crossed through the strike zone and that's all that matters. STEERIKE!
These condensed game videos are awesome and I hope you post the if game.
Sorry I didn't have the "if" game in condensed form.
@@sw48 do you have the the full if game?
Loving these game vids
Was waiting on this video!! DW you the fuckin man!! Now I can't wait til the next video 💪
I like these condensed games
These condensed games are AWESOME!!!!
Juiced balls, juiced bats, juiced players. No defense. I’m sure they enjoy it but this isn’t softball.
Its a joke. Basically HR derby on a little league field. The only way to make slo-pitch less of an arcade game, is to use the clicher ball.
Yuppp. So stupid..thats why I stop playing 3 years ago..I played 3rd base and with the bats they use its dangerous. I retire after breaking 3 fingers catching a 115mph ball.
Joe Malak i hear ya, man. i play 3rd in slo pitch too. we don’t get much action over there, but when we do, it’s intense. our league doesn’t play on a tiny field like this though.
@@youtubin222 Since when is 300' tiny?
You know they test all bats before every tournament and use the same compression ball as any USSSA league. Some of the players are juiced though. And there was one error. 1 for 4.
what are the dimensions of the stadium
Mid America Ballyard fields are 300 feet
what about the bases? are those 60 ft, or 70 ft?
@@javtimestwo 70’
The main man comes thru again. Love the shorties. But the pro strikes out in a big game. Gotta swing in the clutch. Waiting for it to come u, gotta go get it .
Correct me if I'm wrong but Priscille has the ugliest swing in Major League slow pitch.. butt by far the one of the best on the mound
swings change when you are 51
but it is results that matter
They're good hitters but the pitching! Not creative! Need to throw knuckleballs curves backspin Etc pitch the game for a long time also need to speed it up once in awhile the pitches
I think Purcell said once that he throws his knuckler around 90% of the time.
Go ahead and spin one up there to a Andrew Collins, Ryan Harvey or a Kyle Pearson. Just make sure you have dental coverage. Those guys see any pitch spinning and they are going to place it wherever they want. Which more times than not is back the middle. Don’t need to put a curve on a knuckleball, these guys that pitch can make their knuckleball move just throwing it, plus factor in the wind
No slow pitch softball pitch is hard to hit for an average player.
Ok buddy. Stand in there against Andy Purcell and let me know how that works out for ya. What level so you play at?
@@jeffpotts2466 it's been years since I played but I did play in a lots of B USSSA tournamens some open never had the sponsor nor the players to play with the majors but I had some great players even a major league baseball player on my team wasn't trying to criticize
0:54 How did that sound like a muzzleloader went off LOL
That's what I call the bat havin "a cough" lol.. It's well broken in and probably close to busting if i had to guess??
There’s got to be a way to make this more difficult. 54-53 is obnoxious
Yes, they used too good of a ball but these are the two best teams in the country.
I'd be embarrassed to take a walk in Slo-Pitch
That is why they are getting paid to play and you’re not
Depending on the situation and who’s up and how many home runs are left, sometimes it’s better to take a walk than hit a bad home run. You have to realize that all but 3 tournaments (smoky mountain classic, second Seattle dual and the major World Series) have home run limits. Major vs. major is 16, major vs any other class is 12. You have to use smart home run management
Especially with the fluff balls they are pitching here.
Embarrassed to help your team win? Glad we don’t play on same team
@@billcuddyer7015 its not about the pitching, Einstein.
Yesssss was waiting for this video!
8:14 you can literally hear tears spilling out these guys’ eyes lol
come prepared to hit not to walk ,at least the ump was strong enough to make the call
This is why I retired at 43 as a 150# 2nd baseman. Ball skipped of my glove and knocked field umpire flat. Square in the temple.
Is that the new easton resmondo alot of them are swinging? Does anybody know
yes
Is it fun to play in these games? No one gets out!
If there were no outs the game would never end.
@@sw48 in all fairness, i believe you said 60-45 was the semifinal game. That’s as close to never ending as it gets
How can these tournaments go on with the pandemic in affect
a lot of places are playing, my slow pitch league is in full swing
A Train94 mine just started. 18 games plus playoffs
Not all states go full lockdown. Depends on where you live.
Why they don’t run the bases on a home run? That’s dumb.
16 HR limit in this game but yes to save time
Did I miss the final game or was it not uploaded?
Sorry, I did not have the final game. You can watch it though on usssalive.com
Where is the If Game?
Uhboy here we go again with these bad ass’ hitting underhand pitching really far.
New ball flies !
so is anyone else gonna mention the first guy never swung the bat.....working a walk in softball.....??..............next time up..I beaning you.......
Please don't comment on a game you don't understand.
Any softball leagues like this in St. Louis?
ressy needs to do something about that 1st base man. he can't scoop up any bounce ball.
Actually they are also the best defensive teams in the country as well as offensive. Remember those balls are being hit at 100 mph.
Defense doesn’t matter, seriously????? Wow obviously you don’t remember the Resmondo teams from a few years ago: 3rd base - jimmy Salas, shortstop -Donny Dedonatis, middle infielder - Dennis Rulli/Luis Reyna, 2nd base - Greg Connell, 1st base - Bubba Mack, left field - Andrew Collins, center field - Nic Santana, right field - Jeremy Isenhower, pitching - Andy Purcell. One of the best defensive teams of all time, especially with Andy, jr, Rulli/Reyna and Santana up the middle. Donny Dedonatis (aka Jr) just might be the best defensive player in the history of the game. Plus guys like Steven Lloyd, Ben Dunn, JoJo Bennett. Friendly suggestion, watch an actual tournament and you will see some great defensive plays
How do i get a tryout
Just start playing in your local leagues. If you're any good you'll move up to a higher level quickly.
Why mumble into the mic at all.
Sorry. People on this channel said they wanted to know who was up to bat and making the plays etc.
@@sw48 I like the commentary AND sound levels. Perfect balance 🤷♂️
300ft fences lol what a joke for these guys
harv put one out there deep
Slow pitch is so boring.
How many home runs do they get ?
16
love the vids only thing is and hopefully its just me but your commentary comes through really quiet and i love the way you comment on the game
when your standing 10 feet from the batter you can't be talking too loud sorry.
Qué rayos fue eso
Gorrear base en bola tuta y con esos mostruos de bat
So when they hit a "dinger" they don't even round the bases??? LOL, I'm sorry but when I see dudes playing softball it's just a lil bit funny to me 8-)
Why is Purcell leading off? Makes no sense.
i thought the same thing. ?
Can’t hit into double plays (most times). Always gets a runner. Not a power hitter anymore
Oh and 90% of the time he gets on, the monsters behind him put it out.
Nice shot @7:20
Love that park. Lost in semi on that field 10 years ago lol
Power hitters=can’t field, slow, can’t go gap to gap
Not true at all. Most of these guys power is gap to gap. They know when it’s time to Jack one out
Grown men, that can’t play baseball, colorful uniforms though
These players all exhausted their baseball paths and some made it very far. Slowpitch is a competitive and fun game. Give it a try.
the catcher with the long beard was a 1st round draft pick by the Cubs lol
taylormade DP ball and Bazat boots it! conney going down looking? really you are looking for a walk in the top of the 7th in a tied game?
No challenge in softball. How hard is it to hit a floating oversized ball.
With the movement that an Andy Purcell, Andrew Vitcak or Justin Muccerelli can get on their knuckleball, it’s a lot harder than you think
Jeff Potts it’s not moving fast enough to move that much. For decent hitters at least
Stand in the batter’s box and let Andy Purcell throw you 5 knuckleballs. Bet you don’t touch one of them. Doesn’t need to move that much, AP, Travis Clark, Andrew Vitcak use the wind to their advantage. Ask Andrew Collins or Dale Brungardt or Kyle Pearson (three of the most honest guys in the conference) and they will tell you it’s a lot harder to hit the knuckleball than the average player thinks
Jeff Potts bet hitting off a guy throwing 98mph fastballs and filthy curveballs that got drafted in the first round out of high school is harder. And I hit off that guy just fine (2 for 3 with a double). I like my chances bud. Not to mention my college baseball career where I was always facing 90+ with good junk where many of the guys I faced got drafted. Not everyone on the internet is some scrub. Ya most keyboard warriors probably couldnt hit it but I will bet my years salary that I would. Hitting is kinda my thing.
Ya slow pitch is different than baseball but baseball is significantly harder.
@@jeffpotts2466 you are clueless. I play open USSSA . A knuckleball in slow pitch does not move at all. You have to have velocity to make a knuckleball move. Did you ever play baseball at all? I love flat knuckleball in slow pitch
No good
I'm done watching after the lead off hitter walked!
Bama!!
Walking in softball, ? Women league
Do you pitch?
Beer league softball.
Is Purcell the greatest of all time.
Playing till he's 102 years old
12 men’s major World Series championships says yes lol
@@jeffpotts2466 So who the top five players are from 2000 to presemt?
@Rob Toney not in any particular order and I’ve only been following upper level softball since 2016, so I’m just going on what I know
Andy Purcell
Donny Dedonatis III
Justin Mucciarelli
Brett Helmer
Andrew Collins, Kyle Pearson (KP23), Greg Connell.
That’s just a guess and my opinion
purcell can't even pitch . how in the hell did he get to play a ball
Actually he was the MVP of this tournament
@@sw48 he needs to quit or go down to d ball. he is terrible
And what level do you play at?
I’m sure you’re a thousand times better than Andy. Who do you play for?
@@jeffpotts2466 i'm retired now. i was an a ball player. what state r u from. i'm in ohio played with a bunch of teams.
OMG @ 7:54
Legend has it the ball still hasn't landed yet.
I’ve watched that like 10 times
Real men wear jeans when playing softball. Not pajamas like these guys.
Adult t ball
Ain't nothing soft about this game
