Love this stove. Going to play with indexing the adjustment ring off the shoulder of the can when I build one. I think an indexed ring might provide reliable precise adjustment.
So I actually built your stove version based on your video. I fitted a fuel tank on the bottom with a drum shaped can. I also widen the air holes and putted mesh on it to prevent the flame flashing out. So now it burns an 1hour 2 mins on low settings with 100ml fuel (but with 75% alcohol only), and it managed to overheat the metal on one of my pot on high setting. Great design! But I think I'm doing something wrong because I can't get any water to boil. Ps: low setting means with only 25% of your air intake from the original design

Nice, that flame looks pretty efficient.
It nearly has enough oxygen to have a pure blue flame.
