I just bought this cotton yarn in the same color so I was very happy to stumble across this tutorial! I would love to see how to add in the invisible slip stitch when following written directions. Especially when using cotton yarn which is less forgiving!
Thank you for sharing the instructions and how to interpret it. I never knew how to read and follow along. I still don’t but this is a great way to start. Do you have more videos where you share the pattern so we can follow along?
thank you for the clear left-handed instrustion. My basket came out cute, but the sides are not vertical, they go out, and in at the top. Is this most likely a problem with my stitches being of uneven tension?
You're welcome! 😊 If some of your stitches look slightly bigger/less tight than others then yes, it could be down to tensioning. I do have a tutorial with some hints and tips for tension here: ua-cam.com/video/SRVA_4uNsNw/v-deo.html
I’ve been doing well but just counted and instead of having 48 stitches I have 51! I don’t know what to do, every time I pull a few stitches off, I still end up with 51?! Can you help me please? Love that you’re helping us lefties - thank you 😊
You’re welcome! 😊 I would go back over your last round and double check your increases - it’s possible that you’ve made an extra increase or two at some point. You can use stitch markers to help you count by popping one in every increase 😊
This exact thing happened to me, I found it happened upon joining the rounds together with slipstitch. I grabbed a stitch from the previous round accidentally which then created a new stitch.
Thank you for remembering us lefties x
You're very welcome :)
I love these. Thanks for doing so many left-handed videos. I finally understand the process and can actually make something😊
You're very welcome :)

Although I am Not a Beginer, Its Single Crochet all round in all stitches! Including increasing!!
Single crochet in the US is Double crochet in the UK, its the same stitch just different terminology :)
@@bellacococrochet I've seen other uk youtubers use our USA Terminology.
