Thank you for sharing your experience at IX! I have been hearing about it for years, but have not seen anything that shows that scope of the work on display. Need to get my butt out there! So far, the 1 Fantastic Workshop has been my favorite for the year!
I didn’t know there were that many artistic conventions outside of comi-con. How do I obtain a list of them all and what is required of each show?
I'm really bummed that I had to back out of IX this year and then miss the OFW as well - but I plan on at least one of those for next year! I'm finding that in order to continue keeping up my creative energies, I need to 'refill' my time with other artists throughout the year. It's a drawback from working at home all the time I think

Thanks for the insight into IlluxCon! I'm planning next years cons right now and IlluxCon is definitely at the top of my list!
IX is the only artist-centric event I've been to (not counting comic-cons and movie-cons), but I have to say the experience this past year was great enough that it will probably remain my favorite, even when I branch out to others! (also, I saw myself in the video LOL! Mini Mandii cameo)
