- In this episode of Raxxla theories i will eb discussing my own thoughts on the subject of Raxxla. I will be laying out where i think Raxxla is, and what i think it may be. I will also be providing the Facts on what we currently know about Raxxla.

Alright. I'm gonna blow some minds with *my* theory as to where RAXXLA is: Its in CD-37 10033.
The logic goes like this; The short of it:
Guardian Civ + Wclass stars.
Reading though the old data from guardian obelisks, it implies very subtly guardian connections to Wolfs. Particularly how the stars cooling affected their evolution, and rise of civilization.
Guardian "Bubble" is mostly centered around a Wolf, "Gamma Velorum".
Second Guardian "Bubble" is also centered around a Wolf (Hen 2-333) as well.
Guardian AI constructs are missing from history.
Guardian Constructs gone somewhere far.
Constructs speak to humanity via dreams.
Dark Wheel know this, spent centuries gathering up "evidence" from affected individuals, records at hidden station, never actually found physical Raxxla.
Jasmine Haley and Gan Romero have dreams recently.
Jasmine says; "I saw a place of extraordinary beauty. A paradise. It was truly wonderful. This was no dream - it was a glimpse of something very real. We must find this place. It could be our future".
She also describes them as "architects of creation"
Romero records; "an area of space, not black but radiant…glowing like heaven"
Systems inside single system nebulas have a sky bright and radiant (like Bubble Nebula).
CD-37 is a Wolf-Rayet inside such a nebula.
The Guardians will Reveal all.

Raxxla will be a system of gateways and Frontiers way of introducing fast travel around the galaxy. Each gate leads to a control system containing more gates that lead to other sectors of the galaxy. In two jumps you can go from the Bubble to Raxxla to the far side of the galaxy. Makes sense if its been in the game since launch as its just the frameshift system on steroids.
Except it's NOT actually even implemented in game. When ever a new generation ship has been found, an update has always been released shortly before the find. I think there's a placeholder and it's unreachable because it's hasn't been implemented yet nor do I think it ever will.
When we find it it and it is a star gate we will have the biggest community goal to date

Keep up the awesome work mate. I’ve been playing ED on console on and off for around a year and I love it. The mystery that is raxxlar and the fact that after all this time it’s still just a myth it so fucking cool! Watching you and a lot of other on this subject is so enthralling and I love it!

The devs said Raxxla exists, but if it's not ready, then that statement would be misleading because it wouldn't yet exist. So who knows. Although I fully expect it to not be finished, because it's not like they add stuff to the map until it's finished, and of course, they don't want people finding things early / out of order. So it may not be permit locked at all, but rather, not even on the map at all yet. It may be an entirely new system, or a place where you are transported to. I don't think it would be behind a permit locked system, simply because everyone knows the permit locked systems, and as soon as they became accessible, it would be a quickly solved mystery. The only good way to do it like that would be to require hundreds of ships to cooperate, kind of like a Ready Player One Doom Planet style challenge where people fight to get through and end up at a location and one by one have to try to figure out the code to get access. I don't they'd do it that way, but that'd be the epic way to do it.

Dropping this before I watch: I think Raxxla is a gateway to another galaxy. Probably Andromeda. I think it's in a permit locked sector that either cannot be unlocked yet or that we haven't discovered the mechanic that unlocks these sectors. I think we'll be lead down a path over the next few years to Raxxla which will be part of a major expansion pack that will greatly increase the size of the game...
Hopefully it expands on the gameplay as well as the size of the game. Cheers for the watch Mate.
Now that I've watched. I think we're largely on the same page. I've actually thought that since I started watching your vids; that's partly why I'm so into them. But I don't think Raxxla will be in Gamma Velorum. I think Gamma Velorum will be the first real step towards unraveling Raxxla.
I think we'll find the ruins of the Guardian home world in Gamma Velorum which will lead us to more information regarding the Guardian/Construct conflict.
This is where I really go into hard-core speculation. Gamma Velorum will be the beginning of "the journey". The journey will take us across the galaxy to the other massive permit sectors some of which, especially the ones on the "north" side of the galaxy, I think are destinations the Guardians ran to to escape the Construct.
We'll learn what the artifact on Mars is. I think it's Construct related.
This is super tin foil but I think Barnard's loop and the locked sectors near it will be the region Raxxla is actually in... To me Barnard's Loop and the surrounding nebulae and stars look like something big/powerful punched it's way in or out of our galaxy. Maybe Barnard's Loop is or is somehow related to the Talmor Lens.
I know that Barnard's Loop and the surrounding nebulae are actual features of our galaxy but there are no other nebular structures that even come close to their complexity and I think the devs are using that.
All the stories of Raxxla seem to put it in our stellar neighborhood and there's just too much "going on" in that region for it to not mean or lead to something.
Side note... Some of the permit locked sectors far across the galaxy have perfectly geometrical shapes. Organic life doesn't tend to spread out like that. Which leads me to believe the geometric sectors are Construct related.

I believe the cylinders form a bigger picture. A wheel. But I'm still cataloging them. The Dark Wheel is supposed to be the Elite group of explorers. Perhaps they have a map. This is why I'm obsessed with the fact that some of these cylinders have confirmed content related to the path of them. Stations, alien territory, even the biological sites we all use with the crystals for high grade materials align closely with their path. But still researching.

Do you remember Homer's Odyssey ? When the clues were followed we found Troy .
I wouldn't be surprised if it's a permit-locked or somehow the big focus or centerpiece of a future DLC or patch. From a marketing perspective you want it to be accessible and a lure for as many people as possible. Can you imagine the hype if several patches or updates in a row start introducing new hints, mentions, puzzles... and then one day, they mention definitively, it's now in, the puzzle can be solved? It would be MASSIVE, and Fdev will most likely try to make the most of this galactic mystery from both a story, engagement, and monetary aspect.
I think I'd cry if 'Raxxla' was basically a euphemism or even direct translation for something like 'enlightenment' or 'fellowship' or some such. I really pray it's not the quintessential scroll of truth.

I think that brooks was kind of playing on the words. If anyone who makes the game green lit the "journey" explanation, then they made a mistake.
The statement that you could reach it in a stock cobra always sticks in my head.

Some will say Frontier didn't technically lie, but that is one of the worst kind of lies.

It's more simple than all the different clues and data players have been pouring through..
What if we are looking for a massive neutron star(Gateway), on the very edge of our galaxy.
The planet or system called Raxxla could be just outside the jump range of even a carrier, say 505lys?
The planet or system (Raxxla) would also have to have another massive neutron star so you could make the return trip. Unless the alien artefact can help.
It's just an idea, but has anyone mapped any neutron stars at the outer edge of the galaxy? Or even found a neutron highway that leads to the outer edge of the galaxy?
Just to add: I have a feeling the Alien artefact is a Thargoid FSD.

if players can't find raxxla, god know's they have tried and found nothing, that might put them off trying, as i have, now i dont even bother anymore.
It's behind a permit lock I think. And even then it is probably a placeholder for content that was never fleshed out.
I still think Raxxla is a state of mind, like Nirvana in Bhuddism.
I just watched treasure planet movie 8 times , had the close captions on , went to all the systems except a few that don't appear to pop up . I recommend anyone who is looking for Raxxla give this a watch.
The one problem I see with the permit lock theory is that as soon as Frontier removes the lock, it would basically confirm where it is located - rather than players having the satisfaction of its discovery. What I see as more likely to happen is that they start to trickle out bigger hints that would point to its location. Especially to flesh out the lore surrounding it.
Before watching: I think it is in polaris, its close enough to the bubble to have been reached without modern FSDs and its permit locked with no known way to get it. No idea how the permit could be obtained but i think it is there
Fair Enough although it is worth noting that the Hesperus was found near the California Nebula, that ship is over 200 years old.

Here's my theory.
Raxxla IS a gate. And, when ED starts to slow down or when FDev wants a big boost, they open up the system and BAM. It's a gate to another galaxy. Second gold rush of exploration, huge boost in returning players and sales.
The idea of permit locked systems were extremely short sighted as soon as they open people will discover everything.
Who's to say they will open all at once.
Great video our kid… my thoughts on this - I honestly believe that frontier have not created raxxla yet in game. Because I firmly believe they don’t know what to do with it! I agree with another comment I’ve seen, that whatever it is they have ‘planned’ will not meet player expectations. In any shape or form! Braben has also discounted there being another galaxy in the game. He’s openly said “is 400 billion systems not enough?” Raxxla therefore will NOT be another portal to another galaxy. So for me - raxxla is too big a myth for frontier now to create and then make accessible to the player base. It has out grown them, They simply would not be able to hide it from the rest of the player base and then force that 1 commander who found it not to reveal it through a non disclosure agreement. Impossible. With UA-cam content creators - it would soon be revealed. And if it was something along the lines of a portal to the thargoid home world, or some mind bending piece of technology that would be a game changer in the war against the thargoids - for example - then it would mean that frontier would have to be prepared for all commanders to have access to it, once it’s found. That would mean potential exploitation, abuse by some squadrons etc. It would mean a whole other level of game play, and content, that I think frontier are not willing to embark on. I also can’t see it being the “friends we’ve made along the way” or any crap like that. For me - IF - it does exist, it has to be a physical place. I just hope that frontier DO start introducing more clues and not just keep raxxla as a myth that we keep searching for, but never introduce. As obsidian ant once said - “maybe it’s best it’s never found”. I believe raxxla will never be found, but only because frontier cannot think of how to implement whatever their idea is. I just sincerely hope that for players like you and I - that we do one day find it before this game is wound down… big up anyway our kid, hope the weather is good over in Manchestarrrrr
My highly uneducated opinion is that it is indeed permit locked, but that we still don’t know where it is. Which is to say even if all the currently known permit locked systems were opened today we still wouldn’t have the permit to Raxxla. I think this because I don’t think TDW have found it yet, and they probably modified their ships so they could go to permit locked systems in their search. However I do think we have to do something with TDW to find Raxxla, in which case I think one way to join them might be to get as many max ranks as possible. I don’t know if anyone has ever gotten 6 Elite + max imperial + max federation. Or maybe you need 6 * Elite V. Would it be dumb? Almost certainly, but I think we should try it. It could also be possible, though I hope it’s not the case, that fdev is watching to make sure you actually put in the work for these ranks and not sitting in that one system doing data transport missions to get max fed rank
It’s not linked to being Elite across the board. Before Odyssey - I was quad elite, including cqc (hardest Elite rank to achieve by far). But nothing… no extra permit.

I started playing Elite Dangerous because of the mystery of Raxxla, having that thought in the back of my mind that "I might be the one to find it." Yet after playing for so long and discovering that I have a fear of space I too believe that Raxxla is a journey everyone needs to make. Maybe Raxxla is a door to another universe or a great big fat man in a silly hat. Or maybe the real Raxxla is the friends we make along the way. And this gun found
at the rate that updates are coming out, they better increase the speed of the updates before players get to old to play.

I'm pretty new at this Raxxla mystery, but what I'm looking most into is the Thargoid star map and Talmor lenses. Maybe there's a gateway to another galaxy, has the Thargoid star map been identified? Is it a dwarf galaxy? I dunno but this mystery is interesting.
Funny they mention in the codex the omphalos rift, sort of like a rear in the fabric of space. The talmor lenses would of probably used the only force that can control the flow of time, gravity to achieve its task. Maybe someone blew one of them up.

Raxxla might be a part of the last content update for elite, but they seeded the idea of it being in the game from the start to build up hype and make its appearance in the end game all the more meaningful.
Frontier are so lazy that I just can't believe for one second that raxxla is in the game right now in any real form, and if it is then it's just some static mesh with no real reward. I would love to think that it's out there and will change the game forever when found, but deep down we all know that's not the case.

A gate way could also means a key to unlock a specific permit locked system, I think its stupid to think its a gate way to different galaxy because that would consume stupid amount of resources for a galaxy that would be visited by few commanders
I would say Raxxla would unlock one of two systems
Hip 22460 which might actually holds the secret to Thargoids mothership
Or the key to unlock Regor system as it might hold Guardian civilization instead of remnants outside their system
I actually enjoy hunting Raxxla and right now working on unlocking LFT 509 as it might be where the dark wheel station whivh could lead to Raxxla
I know what Im doing has already been fone by many commanders as there is nothing really special about it but I ll keep working on it

I also believe it's permit locked. I absolutely do not believe that while the Adamastor mystery was solved in a matter of hours that the community aren't able to find Raxxla after years of searching. The only reasonable explanation is it's either permit locked or not currently in game. People don't like to hear that though so they get mad but it's true.

Great vid.....My biggest problem with raxxla, is that it is so old in the game a never ending myth. The fact that devs are quiet about it and refuse to say anything about it to keep it alive and at least seem possible to find, it´s just getting old, boring and not worth looking for anymore. Why keep chasing what they make impossible to find and just silence out...If it keeps being just an old myth of the game, expectations over time will and may already have done, that no matter what it might turn out to be, it will not match the expectations from the playerbase and lead to an ultimate game let down...

Raxxla better be a portal to another layer of the universe or Im going to be 100% uninterested unimpressed and probably mad if when we find it and no gameplay additions are added.
I think if Raxxla was permit locked I would also be mad that they said nothing while many people waste there time looking for something locked away waiting for a content update. I suspect this is what it is but I'd like to have faith this company wouldn't let people aimlessly waste mass amounts of time to no end.

pretty late to this theory...but heres an idea..what if RAXXLA is the gaurdians home world? or possibly the name of the AI that led to the ai's revolt against the gaurdians? Just some random thoughts.
Raxxla could be which space, where you jump if you’re fsd is sufficiently damaged, like in the first two games.

I think Raxxla is connected to the Guardians. Perhaps it's a gateway where some of the colonies fled when the AI started purging their species. The Thargoids could be looking for it so they can kill off the rest of the Guardians.

The gateway theory is something i subscribe to. Maybe the Guardians built some kind of Galactic gate, if so and if Gamma Velorum is the Homeworld of the Guardians, then i suppose that there could be one there.
@@MATTIUS just posted on another video of yours. In the first elite game, when hyperspacing, the player would travel through witchspace, which is where the thargoids resided. Not saying they are interdemensinal, but they would pull the pilot out of witchspace and attack.
The second and third games changed the way ships jump, however in the third game, it is listed that the federation were colonising a planet and were approached by the thargoids, whe the federation then attacked starting the war.
Elite dangerous, brought back witchspace, and I can't remember where I saw this, but it was, and im paraphrasing this, when travelling through witchspace, you can sometimes see a mysterious city...
Interesting stuff. It does mention in the codex that the Thargoids could be of intergalactic origin. And like I have mentioned in other videos, I don't think that the Thargoids are completely to blame with this war. The federation definitely has blood on its hands with this, as does the Empire and the club.

I know RAXXLA is behind a permit lock. I know that it's not ready.
I desperately want the Turning The Wheel goal to trigger SOMETHING but I think it's just going to be one big push for Frontier to do something that will fall on deaf ears.
It seems those wanting the story of the game are not being listened to and no amount of pressure seems to be ale to actually be applied to get it as I am sure that it's simply not ready, especially with the glacially slow update cycle, even from a "small dev studio" even before the pandemic hit.
I am getting to the point that maybe the thing that hooked me into the game just isn't there, that my hopes to witness a big event like the one that happened shortly after I joined (the Salome event) is probably going to be the best moments of story included into the game at any given time. Everything else has been drip fed through. I hope I am wrong.

Forgive me but I’m still new to the game. I’ve been to the witch head nebula and the Pleiades, that’s it so far. But wouldn’t putting raxxla behind a permalocked system kind of point it out? I know there is a lot of them but far less than accessible ones.

I know it’s hard to data mine elite dangerous when a lot of the info is server side, but how about data mining the old games. They’re in disk. Hard data. They would probably carry over lore from previous games.

As always I want to congratulate you on your videos. They are great.
In previous videos, you said that one place Raxxla could be was at LFT 509.
This is also a locked permission system.
Now you say it may be in "Gamma Valorum" ...
Conclusion is that it could be in any locked system, but you are forgetting that RAXXLA comes from 1984, in the Elite 1 game.
I do say it COULD be in many locations. My own personal thoughts are that it is connected to the guardian homeworld which I think is in gamma velorum, but as I have said many times i could be wrong.raxxla is not a fixed point in lore. Like we see with many other fiction, things can be changed or ret conned to fit with the current writers vision of what they think it could be.
Is there any actual proof of Raxxla being in the game? Good videos. Thank you. :)

Many like me are fed up with all of this. There is no RAXXLA. There is nothing to do in the game. Just boring game that never was.

Some systems werent permit locked from the start, so it is possible that someone just passed it and than it got permit licked, like witch head nebula and col 70 sector

Honestly dude a couple of your existing videos read like a creepypasta already lol. Specifically, thetis and delta 69 as well as some of those from the dynasty project come to mind. Those were what turned me into horror stories in the first place, led me to channels like swamp dweller and what lurks beneath.
I just turned around from a expedition to the top of the center of the galaxy, I could not find the path to the most northern star . Up there , there are many black holes almost impossible to find and lead up to that star . Star map is so black the holes don't show up . You have to enter a prefix of the stars in the area and hope the map AI lands on it.
A massive journey, as I ran out of tritium kicking rocks all the way to sol . I still believe something must be there .
Always been on my bucket list to try and to an extreme north or south. Thanks for the watch.

@@danielstokker seems the double frames hit drive boost glitch seemed to get some players there. Now with no glitch its not that easy or even possible.
