Nice to get a Eurovision vibe from the crowd! Not our best entry for this compatition ever but not bad either. Trijntje is a very powerful singer, though! I hope you will react to our entry from Waylon and Ilse the Lange as The Common Linnets, with Calm after the storm, we came in second that year) and Duncan Laurence with the song Arcade, that we won with! Both highly recommended.

Funny detail: she had a very sexy dress which she was not allowed to wear, so there she is in a horrible onesy. This song was written by Anouk, by the way. And then Edsilia, her sister in law who got to give the points for the Netherlands wore that dress..
Fun Fact: she found out she was pregnant just before the live-shows. I believe that was also a reason for the wardrobe change. This was the most comfortable for her at that moment.

No it was because of the controversy of the clothing... her first dress was 'way too open' and received a LOT of critism in the Netherlands unfortunately :(
Anouk (you should see her Eurovision performance back in 2013 by the way, that was truly magical and brought us back in the Eurovision game, well with a short break in 2015) actually wrote this song for her.
Let's just say, it was an experience.
I kind of liked the song.
Until I saw this performance and the too much why-why-why part started to bother me beforehand.
I hope you will come across better songs of her.
A shame she didn't made it to the grand finale. There was a lot to do about the dress, i don't care, for me it is all about the song and voice.

It is a great performance and a great song. Such a pity the esc isn’t about songs anymore, but about superficial shows. This song didn’t qualify for the final, unbelievable
Respecting the class act Trijntje is, she could have done so much better if she had a song more suitable for her. Check out her normal repertoire and you know what I mean.

She was one of the best singers there with a very nice song but she didn't make it to the final. It is not about the best songs but who is my political European friend. So that's why I don't like this European Song Contest.
