Joanne Hogg, the singer of the ending credits, is not only is the Singer of the first Xeno game (Xenogears), is also apparently in her 60s and still sounds so beautiful after all these years. Such a talented woman.
So one thing to point out is in Japanese Ghondor says "Toh-chan" another way of dad but a lot more childish which is a nice bit of characterization for the old man, Despite accomplishing so much from nothing and being an 80 year old man, he still the little kid N left in the forest that day(yes i know his time was up)
@@MugenHeadNinja the mistranslation doesn't fail it's job. It leaves out M in some sentences. But it doesn't misinterpret. The English translation emphasises Ghondors defience. The Japanese translation emphasises it was Ghondors choice.
I think that still comes across in the English version. The way the English voice actor says "But you told me to make friends", using Mum over Mother, it's clear part of him never left those woods. Overall, it's also my favorite scene in the whole DLC.
I felt it in the voice. And its realistic, people stay children their whole life when it comes to their parents and old Ghondor had to swallow a lot of things since childhood. Cruel scene. Still at the same time his age and wisdom was there too, as he took the responsibility and tried to stop his dad and gave his life for his grandchildren and lecturing his father to get some sense into him (which must have been hurtful). Also Mio arriving at the scene.. god.
I doubt this will be the last we'll see of them... they'll probably keep appearing in future titles, but just not in main roles. We have yet to meet Mythra's child after all.
That scene at the end of the credits was the ending of the base game. The two worlds separate but eventually become one again. During the very last cutscene from the base game, young Noah hears a flute and the flute gets louder and louder. If you play the two ending cutscenes together, you’ll see the flute starts playing at the same time the 2 worlds start combining. And the flute reaches peak volume when the 2 worlds have become one. Which means, the flute that young Noah heard wasn’t his imagination, that really was Mio.
Best jrpg franchise bar none. I actually really love this ending too. It’s beautiful in its simplicity. Instead of a lengthy fanservice scene showing every character and what they’re up to in the new world, we just get the worlds uniting. Us, the fans can come up with all kinds of fun scenarios for our favorite characters in our heads, but the game simply tells us that everyone is alive and well, and the worlds have become one. It’s brilliant honestly.
Although he said that this was the end of the Xenoblade games, it doesnt mean it was the end of the Xeno franchise. So most probably, it will just be a completely new Xeno game where we will see Shulk, Rex and everyone else in this completely new world (since they did say that they where just taking a breather and that they would be back at the far edge of time).
@@DajovaHe said this was the end of the Klaus experiment arc specifically so wouldn't that include all these characters/worlds that are directly linked to all that? Things like Nopon, Telethia, ether, and the Conduit I could see returning since they've been in other games outside of the Klaus arc.
1:15:06 "I don't want it to be over"... and this is why N is one of the best damn antagonists up there with Jin. You fully empathise and understand his motivations, and can see what drove his actions, cause the gameplay and story actively reinforce his motivations and feelings on the player. All this building upon and following on from the themes of Jin in XC2. *chef's kiss* storytelling.
I see so much of myself in N/Noah, so when a particular story segment was 'executed' (to give a hint without spoiling directly.) a certain way, it shattered me. It broke me internally to the point of still to this day not being able to continue. Even though I know everything turns out okay cuz I obviously HAD to look up the rest of the game, I just can't pick it back up.
I took a random chance on Xenoblade 1 in 2015 off of hearing 2 pieces of music. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever believe we'd see Xenoblade become what it did. This series should not have even survived its first entry, only through the love and support of the developers and the fans. The most emotional video game journey I've ever been on. Thank you Monolith and thank you to everyone who loved and grew to love this special series of games.
I took a random chance on Xenoblade 1 also in 2015 just because I needed a game to actually utilize the "New" 3ds i had just gotten. I asked google and everyone was raving about Xenoblade so I just *had* to try it. I am forever thankful for the 3ds port getting me into the series and it will always hold a special place over DE in my heart even though it *technically* sucks
@@NamekianGI got Xenoblade 1 for the exact same reason. I just wanted a game that used the new features like the C stick and ZR/ZL buttons. Plus the trailers looked awesome and honestly the graphics didn’t bother me because the 3DS was all I knew at the time and I thought it was amazing that the game was even on the 3DS. Ever since then I’ve been a huge fan
I absolutely love this ending, I feel like it perfectly ends the Klaus saga and leads into whatever is next. I can't wait for it. Also a fun fact, the singer of the credits theme is Joanne hogg, who also sang the credits theme in xenogears back in 98
Ohhh that’s what he meant by *them* 😮 but did it ever mention logos? I saw pneuma in matthews fists but not logos in the sword. It does fit the theme of the sword though
It wasn’t mentioned or even implied when Rex said “they wouldn’t bat an eye at helping”, why would logos ever care? In fact the sword glows green when he says “Release the power of Ouroboros!”, so it’s probably just a recreation of the pneuma core, considering that they’ve based origin on Ontos and was able to create that.
@@guywholikesgames7459 Logos would care, because there is no more influence from Amalthus (in XC2 Malos died => returned to his Core Crystal). Furthermore it is the only explaination, why N is able to overthrow Ontos. With Logos and his strong will both N is way more powerful, than Z or Pneuma or Ontos.
The new Zanza The Divine track is so flipping PERFECT. If I could have jumped out of my 'chair and ran around screeching I would have. XBC1's version is the best final boss theme I've ever heard. And I never would have dreamed we'd fight alongside the XBC3 base game antagonist. That was a heck of a surreal moment. This DLC was just so good from start to finish 😭👏🏻
According to the statue monuments in the base-game City, the founder of House Vandham was never heard from again, though his descendants did eventually reunite with the City.
I was thinking of it and it really broke my heart to think that unless Na'el went out and met up with her brother again, they never see each other again in life
1:18:00 "So i need to play Xenoblade X or what ? Xenosaga ? All of it ?" - The Philadelphia Class Ships are the Ships that venture out into the space to colonize it , that makes Xenogears canon. - The Saviorites , Dimitri Yuriev and the Vektor Logo on the Radio make Xenosaga canon. - The Coalition Government , the Earthlife Colonisation Project and the sub-project called Project Exodus make Xenoblade X canon. - The Icarus didnt come up in any game yet , so this is a possible hint to a new game. Or the Icarus is the Philadelphia Class Ship from Xenogears that wasnt named afaik. - Matthew looks suspiciously similar to Fei / Abel , and he is a Martial Artist ... so thats Xenogears right there. So yes all of it. But some of their Lore would need retcons , its possible that they get remakes , at least i hope it does ... cuz not gonna lie , getting another Xeno game without usable Mechs will only drive me nuts. I want my Mechs finally back.
I kind of like the theory that this is the point that Noah splits from N- Matthew actually manages to get through to him and show him a bit of how he himself used to be and then N gets hit with a big dose of Pneuma's power- and as we know Pneuma does have the power to split people and create alternate selves. Not confirmed but I think it make sense.
@@TeeTop_ M never wanted to be moebius and we see she even had contact with nia and the city folk in some flashbacks of the basegame so maybe if pnuma is the reason why mio exists then she likly came into contact with it at some point
After noah dies and leaves ghondor, up in the theater's balcony, the hooded kid is there, watching noah and z. While Takashi has mentioned the hooded child was a part of noah's pyche, the fact he shows up there might be indicative that's when N split apart. He seems to notice him up there, but then he ignores him. Could be symbolic that he ignored what his conscious was telling him and became mobius anyway. Remember when you become mobius, you are treated to the memories of your previous lives. Our noah admits he's only human. And humans... can only handle so much before they break. After the city was destroyed, I'm pretty sure it devastated m enough for her to split as well
I gotta say, I will always love the detail of N's eyes going a bit sad behind the mask after Matthew says "maybe it will even be you." Deep down, he knows its possible, but doesn't want to believe it. Such a perfect, subtle detail to show that M and Matthew's words truly have planted the seeds for him to turn things around someday.
To those who don't know, Takahashi, the game's director and creator of the xeno series has stated on an interview recently that "lucky seven" has the soul of Fiora, so the name was giving a subtle hint all along, since the xeno community called Fiora the "7th party member" in order to not spoil xenoblade 1
Some also theorize that the other important people in Lucky Seven are Reyn, Sharla, Dunban, Riki, Kino, and Nene - with Fiora, that would make the seven main characters from Bionis-world that weren't active in Aionios.
I agree with the sentiment that people wouldn't get nearly as much out of this DLC if they haven't played Xenoblade 1 and 2. But I feel like they could still get a lot out of it. Why? Because the final boss is a Xenogears reference. The final shot is a Xenosaga reference. The radio dialogue is full of Xenosaga and Xenoblade X references. And despite not playing those games, Sarah clearly got a lot out of this.
@DavisH Mayo I don't think that was OP's point. The point was that these references to Saga and Gears were not understood by those who haven't played them, yet the story still had impact whether those references were understood or not.
That being said, my counterpoint is Harry McEntire's playthrough😂! Saga and Gears do not make up nearly as much of Future Redeemed as the other 2 games do. The radio can be ignored easily, and the post credits might be a little perplexing, but that is really it. Future Redeemed constantly references the other blade games, and the intertextual experience is something that matters a lot to the story. The callbacks are not just nice fanservice. They reveal why the story matters so much in the first place. The entire point about moving on only matters when the audience has a connection to what comes before. That's why the Cent Omnia region's destruction is instrumental in understanding that as things change (the topography of the world in this case lol) the spirit of what came before passes down to the next story and weave a narrative that no longer belongs to a single storyteller. It adds weight to the fact that while the original Colony 9 was destroyed, down the line 1,000 years later, the spirit of Shulk's, Rex's, and Matthew's wisdoms will be born anew in the Kevesi Colony 9, a wisdom withstanding the assault of the ages even as Aionios itself slowly dies of Annihilation Events. However, not knowing who Shulk and Rex are would fundamentally alter the perception of what the theming means. With 1 covering the future and 2 covering the past, the harmony between them is the present. The two make a choice (one that is literally in The Now😂) not to let the past die and to work together to form a better future, even if they do not get to see events unfold moving forward. Without 1 and 2, you don't see how a mad god's ambition isolating him from all other life and instilling a perverse version of this process of passing down has any correlation to his vessel, Shulk, selflessly giving up his seemingly eternal new life without thought of being remembered for all time. That specific audience would lose the importance of the unending hope of a child burrowing through the rock solid physique of a man who fought his own war against the despair of a dying world and proved to the End bringer with the soul of the wishes born 500 years prior that the world can change without its destruction. That same child is now helping to keep a new world afloat just long enough so that it can be torn down properly 1,000 years later. Future Redeemed expands on the previous blade games, so losing the context of 1 and 2 is a much bigger loss that that of Gears and Saga.
Early UA-cam post😮 but in all seriousness this series changed my life and I’m so happy I got to witness you play it. I can see how much this series has helped you as well and I can’t help but smile. So sad that it has ended but glad I was here for the ride!
I love the Xenoblade series so much, and this ending was great and emotional I will miss these characters but they will always live on as gaming legends in my eyes forever
I just realized that would’ve made the ending more heartbreaking: Imagine if Glimmer and Nikol regained their memories from outside of the loop when Rex, Shulk and A walk off into Origin, like remembering their time with their parents
This had the best credits I've seen in a video game. To encompass a 10+ year long journey in the most sentimental way gave me shivers on my first viewing. I was really feeling it!
Not just that. Dmitri is a direct callback to Xenosaga. So that's three Xeno series brought together. EDIT: nvm. Thought you only mentioned X and Gears. Didn't notice you also mentioned Saga.
- "Project Exodus", "Philadelphia-class motherships", "Dmitri Yuriev" - all it takes is one little radio to tie all the Xeno games together. - "Fists of the End", N? I can see becoming Moebius didn't improve your name-making much. - There's heavy implications that N's Blade is empowered by the memory of Logos/Malos - well, Takahashi also straight-up confirmed it. Since that power is eventually passed on to Noah, we now have Xenoblade protagonists that have wielded powers of the three Trinity Processor cores (Ontos/Alvis for Shulk, Pneuma/Pyra & Mythra for Rex, and Logos/Malos for Noah). - It actually makes sense why Alvis brought halves of Klaus and Galea to the Bionis/Mechonis world - he still needed a Logos and Pneuma of some kind, and those two were the most suitable substitutes he could acquire. In that sense, Shulk and Rex are serving as the Logos and Pneuma subs for A. - Many people figured the secret seventh Founder would be A...heh, nope! It was Riku the whole time! - Welcome, new Earth! Oh, and a peculiar blue light drifting down to it. Heh, just when you thought the canon-welding was done...!
Another bit of fun trivia, Most of the time Na'el refers to Matthew as Onii-chan especially when ever asking for his help like when she gets wisked away Some with the Brother dearest scene as well as when she first showed up with Alpha at the lake He is the older one after all
Time for Sarah to start Xenogears and Xenosaga while waiting for the next Xenoblade game. Especially since Xenosaga is practically canon at this point, they might end up being essential in the future Xenoblade games.
We have reached the end. We have grown with these characters and watched them achieve such great things. I am glad to have been a part of this journey.
I literally grew up with this series. From my early teens to now at 22 years old. This series took me on a journey that i will never forget. It made me learn new things, it helped me through tough times. I want to be a video game developer because of this series. Also the music made me really want to play instruments. I thank Nintendo power, super smash bros, and chuggaconroy for introducing me to the series and i became a jrpg fan. The community also introduced the Ys and trails series to me and it is another of my favorites of all time. Monolith soft and nihon falcom are amazing developers. I will keep playing their games until the end. Its just a part of my life in a way, weird yeah but it just impacted me so much.
Riku's comment is just vague enough that his dadapon could be either Riki or Kino. But it's more than likely Kino, because he's got a similar fur color to Kino(we saw that all of Riki's kids had either yellow or pink fur).
This ending is so good and fits perfectly in the series. Amazing DLC! Dat clock, that blue dot falling to the planet. Xenosaga is connected to xenoblade chronicles. Can't wait to see if something comes of it. The music of the final battle ties you back to Xenogears and Xenosaga, so many connections. And You can play as rex and shulk back in the main game by unlocking them in the new challenge. They kept their word. Sad this is the end of the blade\Claus Saga, looking forward to the Xeno-Future.
Since I never played X or any of Xenosaga.. the radio didn't really hit as hard as for some people.. but omg when they mentioned "Saviorites" I flipped!! Vividly remember that from Klaus's flashback in Xenoblade 2
38:45 I swear, Monolith Soft has a Secret Developer Key to the Switch and whenever they need it the Switch goes "Hyper Mode: Engaged - Calculation Power Amped up by 1000%" It's really amazing what they can create as seen in this moment.
Nice reaction :D It's clear you really care about the game/franchise. While I absolutely recommend playing Xenoblade X, bear in mind that it's more of a gameplay-driven experience versus XB1-3's story-driven experience. I personally love X' story and presentation, but the focus is on exploration and immersing yourself in its world, not going from cutscene to cutscene. Anyway, wish you a nice time and looking forward to your Xenoblade 4-videos ^^
So many thoughts and emotions. What was going to be a one off game until Satoru Iwatu said to make it a Xeno game really did change my life. I don’t think I’d be alive if it weren’t for XC1 and this series. The lessons learned pulled me away from those dark thoughts and are there to remind me to keep going when those dark thoughts come back. It’s enhanced how I view myself as a Christian, the world, and God. To Tetsuya Takahashi, your struggles of making Xenogears and Xenosaga paid off in the end and have touched my life and many others. So to Monolith Soft and the many others who worked on this series in some way, thank you.
I just wanted to say I've enjoyed watching you stream the series. I started this journey back when I lost my grandfather in 2021 and this series has been nothing but a wonderful, healing and emotional journey. I am so happy that you also got to feel changed and embraced by this series as well!
Despite N's actions still causing the deaths of a number of people in the city, the importance of why he did it should be kept in mind. It's not just because he sees Alpha as a threat to all life. It's personal. He sees Alpha as something that threatens to take away his "present" with M, rendering all his sacrifices and regrets wasted effort. Hence, his resolve to stop Alpha at any cost.
This aint the end of xenoblade series, just the end of the klaus saga. Now that orgin worked and the worlds have merged, we would prob see xeno 1 2 and 3 characters all in xeno 4. :)
Can't believe we've finally made it to the end, huge congrats as well! I discovered you when you first uploaded your playthroughs of XC1 here and I've been a huge fan of you since then. Your Xenoblade videos are fantastic and I love seeing your genuine reactions, your talk at the end really got to me I'm so glad this series has made an impact on you and you've enjoyed your experience with the game and the community. Keep doing you!
Glad to accompany you on this trip. Even if I was only on the UA-cam side. Like a famous person once said, don't be sad that it's over, be happy it happened. Besides, while the Klause saga might be over, it seems like we might be getting a Xenosaga continuation in the same universe (maybe). Or maybe we'll finally get more Xenoblade X. Who knows what Monolithsoft will do next, but whatever it is, the Future Awaits.
I started watching this, and while watching, just as you beat the game, I was able to FINALLY beat the last super boss that I needed to beat for this DLC. Felt funnily poetic in a way... Also I was right there crying with you in the end. Man, this ending is sooo good!! Loved your video c:
1:20:34 Me too, i honestly don't know how some people had to wait 5 years or so for a new game, i want Xenoblade 4 and i want it yesterday, i don't wanna have to wait, don't make me wait.
1:14:45 When all of a sudden out of the blue in the credits, in the very final conclusion throughout this epic saga, we all were completely unexpectedly hit by scenes from ALL 3 Xneoblade Games.......anybody here who has managed NOT to cry like mad? I swear, I have never ever cried at a videogame / a story ending so much as in this credits scene. Could hardly recognize anything on the screen anymore. And it just felt so damn right.
Nothing is sad until it ends. Then everything is. The pain of the "end" is the price we pay for the future- for the opportunity to ever grow as individuals and as a culture and civilization. It has been an honor to watch you grow to love these games.
fun fact: did you know around 12 years ago, there was a fan-campaign called Operation Rainfall, or OprainFall, to allow 3 Wii games only exclusive to Japan to be ported to the US? the three games would be The Last Story, Pandora's Tower, and * Xenoblade Chronicles* , so what we're saying is that if it weren't for the fans that did this compaign, we wouldn't have experienced such an amazing Trilogy
48:00 Using a remix version of Zanta's Theme is pure genious.....I mean, remember what Alvis said after defeating Zanza in XC1? "I am Monado. I was here in the Beginning and I shall proclaim the End!" And he freaking is! FULL FREAKING 10-YEAR-CIRCLE! Just awesome how intricate Monolith Soft is with details like this!
Xenoblade has also changed my life, and I’m glad to have watched your journey through my favorite franchise as well. On a side note, you have no clue how hard I popped off when I realized Pnuema was in Matthew’s gauntlets and, later, Noah’s blade all along. And when Rex later alluded too how N’s blade contains Logos. Especially since Xenoblade 2 was my first game in the series.
this is such a special series and one of my favourite videogame franchise's of all time. the Xenosaga reference's get me so excited and i'm now convinced that Namco Bandai are working on some sort of remake/remaster of the Xenosaga series. can't to finally play the Xenosaga games and see where this series goes on in the future :D
My personal headcanon is that Matthew and Panacea got together in the end and Monica/Vandham/Gondor are their descendants. Coz of their skin tone being brown, eye color and of course how Monica stance looks VERY similar to ma man Reyn and is also a defender class using a shield like weapon.
I love you. And all you guys. Imo there will be a reunite party some day. Really like watching you play the Xeno games, you have similar emotions and cry almost as much as me. The DLC was really a fantastic sendoff, for the time being, perhaps it's not the end. Thanks for your videos and the "balls"/guts to show your emotions to so many people.
I'm now in post-Xenoblade apathy. Yesterday I finished Future Redeemed 100%, and it is truly over. I have so many Switch games to get through but I know that nothing will match up to Xenoblade!
Sarah I gotta say I’ve watched your xenoblade 1, 2 and 3 reactions and seeing your reactions to all the crazy moments gives me second hand excitement and hype. As someone who’s been playing the games for 8 years now, I seriously wish I could go back in time and experience these games for the first time again and your reactions have given me that experience again. Your such an amazing content creator and I cannot wait to see your reactions when we eventually get a Xenoblade 4. Welcome to the Xenoblade Chronicles fandom, it’s such a fantastic community of amazing individuals as I’m sure you’ve already seen with your amazing viewers.
I cried at the credits when I played Xenoblade DE in 2020 I watch chugga do an LP b4 and thought I had to play it myself (I didn’t spoil myself since it was basically up to gaur plains) It was a masterpiece it was worth waiting for the remaster (basically waited since smash 4’s release) Xenoblade 2 was goofy but had so many good memories Xenoblade 3 I expected to be good and was better than I expected And this DLC was a reward I glad I got curious about this series
It was a blast to watch you go through this trilogy, cannot wait for more videos from you! Thank you Sarah! And... about everyone meeting up again... don't loose hope yet, ok? You might be in luck, it might just take 2-4 years and some new hardware 😉
Thank you for sharing your journeys of all three games with us! I've been a fan of the Xenoblade series since it's launch in Europe in 2011 and I've watched countless reactions of all three games since, but your reactions have been my favourite of all to watch. It's wonderful to see someone engage with these beautiful stories so earnestly and honestly. Hopefully we'll get to see you play Xenoblade 4 some day. To the future!
All that's left is to wonder what the hell Takahashi's gonna cook after this. I mean, there's room for continuing either Saga, X, or even Blade after this.
How is it that I cried more at this than my first time watching the ending. I guess watching Sarah cry will do that to you lol. But seriously, the ending was perfect. And as an X fan, I literally screamed during that radio scene ( even if it isn't canon to the same universe ). But I'm very happy for the Saga fans because of those games more than likely being canon now. Really enjoyed watching your reactions to the Xenoblade series Sarah. These games mean so much to me and I'm so glad that I've encountered them.
Don't be sad because it's over. Be happy that you got to experience all these Chronicles! This may be the end of the Klaus saga, but maybe a new era will be created in the future. I loved your journey and your reactions.
Thank you Sarah! the past 2 ish years watching your playthroughs (3 times i think) and your reactions always gives the tingles. Your reactions are always so genuine and honestly helped me understand the plot for XC2 better. Until your next adventure!
Thank you so much for the highlights, it's been such a blast having someone as emotional as me play through this and at my wedding in a few months I will be playing that gorgeous end credits song as this series has meant so much to my partner and I
41:26 I love the fact that when Na'el says "there's nothing here to ruin our happiness here", the broadcaster on the radio is talking about potential human rights violations, good storytelling reminding us on on what we already know- that this is no paradise
I love the dichotomy of Na'el speaking about peace and safety as the radio is talking about a human rights bill being discussed/rejected. Dramatic Irony in its purest form right there.
I don’t like warriors type games. But if it’s Xenoblade then I I’ll definitely play it. Plus it definitely will give us more answers to the lore for sure if it does come out!
It just dawned me on the 1:01:55, but A does *not* get marked as an Ouroboros. On the other side, Na'el does, clearly so (both in 1:01:53 and in 1:02:00).
Thank you for sharing your journey with us. This series has meant so much to me, and seeing you experience the same rollercoaster of emotions is oddly cathartic. Here's to hoping Monolithsoft delivers again in another five years. Also yes totally play Xenosaga.
Glad to have experienced this journey with you Sarah! Gonna be hard to wait on the next game, but I'm so happy the finale to the trilogy wrapped things up (and connected!) so well.

@@DajovaHe said this was the end of the Klaus experiment arc specifically so wouldn't that include all these characters/worlds that are directly linked to all that? Things like Nopon, Telethia, ether, and the Conduit I could see returning since they've been in other games outside of the Klaus arc.
I think you were crying so much that you didn’t notice who voiced Linka. It’s Naminé’s voice actress Meghan Jette Martin.
That's Monolith Soft!
I think the reason why people love N is the same reason people love Darth vader very similar motivations
The game is peak because it ties all of the Xeno properties together in some way. I love it.
Saga fans ate SO GOOD.
As a Xenohead. That motherflipping radio blew my head right off. Thank you Takahashi for this masterpiece
Dmitri!!
I absolutely love this ending, I feel like it perfectly ends the Klaus saga and leads into whatever is next. I can't wait for it. Also a fun fact, the singer of the credits theme is Joanne hogg, who also sang the credits theme in xenogears back in 98
Yup. And for Xenosaga: Episode I too. :)
Funfact: While Pneuma is in Matthew's fists, Logos is in N's sword.
Ohhh that’s what he meant by *them* 😮 but did it ever mention logos? I saw pneuma in matthews fists but not logos in the sword. It does fit the theme of the sword though
@@Rohit-bk6bc No, Logos was never mentioned, but it is heavily implied.
@@lukas2390 fair enough
Xenosaga ? All of it ?"
- The Philadelphia Class Ships are the Ships that venture out into the space to colonize it , that makes Xenogears canon.
Yea I personally think that too. It’s the more possible outcome and answer to how N and Noah exists at the same time.
I like that theory, but then there's M & Mio
For a split second you see his eyes bright again
I think thats the moment
After the city was destroyed, I'm pretty sure it devastated m enough for her to split as well
The coolest part is that in the series current state Xenoblade is a blank slate and can go anywhere from here
As long as it involves Kos-Mos (because honestly what else could that blue shooting star after the credits be), anything is fair game
From the Ghondor moment being the first one to the end of the game, I cried at least four times playing this finale for the first time.
The theme for Alpha is so goooooood.
Love your vids - surprised you chopped the talk between Rex and Glimmer though, it’s probably my favourite character moment in the whole DLC.
I think if people haven’t played xc 1 and 2 then they certainly haven’t played saga and gears.
That's not really an equivalent analogy imo. This DLC is primarily built upon the first two Xenoblade games, not the gears or saga related stuff.
That analogy doesnt even slightly work
Early UA-cam post😮 but in all seriousness this series changed my life and I’m so happy I got to witness you play it.
The thing is that they kinda do, since in the base game when characters interlink, they can see the memories of the other person
This had the best credits I've seen in a video game. To encompass a 10+ year long journey in the most sentimental way gave me shivers on my first viewing. I was really feeling it!
Truly...this was...the Xenoblade Chronicles.
Fun fact
Its implied malos' core is in N's weapon as that makes all 3 part of aionios
Less so the lucky seven and more the sword sheath
@@sdbzfan1 yea the lucky 7 is the 7 og party members memories iirc
all the info that the radio was saying was references to xenoblade x and xenosaga series. and then the fight with alpha was a reference to xenogears
Not just that. Dmitri is a direct callback to Xenosaga. So that's three Xeno series brought together.
EDIT: nvm. Thought you only mentioned X and Gears. Didn't notice you also mentioned Saga.
"Who knows, maybe it'll be you" Mathew the prophete says :)
Thank you, Sarah, for playing through Xenoblade :3
Hope you enjoyed it!!!!
Can't wait to see you play the next game :)
This whole series was a blast from start to finish. One of the best JRPGs of our time, bar none.
Maaaaaan xenoblade 3 has been a wild ride but its all over now
We can only hope there will be another game in the future
Another bit of fun trivia,
Most of the time Na'el refers to Matthew as Onii-chan especially when ever asking for his help like when she gets wisked away
Some with the Brother dearest scene as well as when she first showed up with Alpha at the lake
He is the older one after all
Just like
Mio is to
Noah
The Xenoblade series has some of the best ending songs, each tailor made to get us crying like babies lol
"We'll be waiting... at the far edge of time" goes so unbelievably hard
10 MILLION people are sent to space, and there's still a fight for Human Rights? I hate how realistic this feels.
This is a japanese sci-fi story to some degree so it's part of the deal.
"Who knows, it might even be you." is a line I think about to this day. It is soooooo good.
Riku's comment is just vague enough that his dadapon could be either Riki or Kino. But it's more than likely Kino, because he's got a similar fur color to Kino(we saw that all of Riki's kids had either yellow or pink fur).
Ehh, I think it's more likely Riki.
@@Xeno_Solarus Yeah, I hadn't considered that he was another adopted kid like Kino when I made that comment, lol
38:45 I swear, Monolith Soft has a Secret Developer Key to the Switch and whenever they need it the Switch goes "Hyper Mode: Engaged - Calculation Power Amped up by 1000%"
It's really amazing what they can create as seen in this moment.
Fun fact I believe the song at the ending credits is sung by the same person that sung in Xenogears too.
Like that moment where Sarah notices Rex is broken and can just Double Spinning Edge over and over.
It was nice to see that Rex hasn’t changed.
It has been an honor to watch you grow to love these games.
fun fact: did you know around 12 years ago, there was a fan-campaign called Operation Rainfall, or OprainFall, to allow 3 Wii games only exclusive to Japan to be ported to the US?
the three games would be The Last Story, Pandora's Tower, and * Xenoblade Chronicles* ,
so what we're saying is that if it weren't for the fans that did this compaign, we wouldn't have experienced such an amazing Trilogy
48:00 Using a remix version of Zanta's Theme is pure genious.....I mean, remember what Alvis said after defeating Zanza in XC1?
"I am Monado. I was here in the Beginning and I shall proclaim the End!"
And he freaking is!
Especially since Xenoblade 2 was my first game in the series.
this is such a special series and one of my favourite videogame franchise's of all time. the Xenosaga reference's get me so excited and i'm now convinced that Namco Bandai are working on some sort of remake/remaster of the Xenosaga series. can't to finally play the Xenosaga games and see where this series goes on in the future :D
its truly is a xenoblade
These truly have been the Xenoblade Chronicles
"The future is in your hands" he meant it literally lol
What a wild ride this series was. Can't wait to see what MonolithSoft has in store for us in the future. Your playthrough was great 👏🏽
It was cool to see the world tree from the bottom without all the wood
It was funny when you said "I don't want to be A".
Because it is totally different case for me, I played as A in every boss fight 😂
I cried at the credits when I played Xenoblade DE in 2020
I watch chugga do an LP b4 and thought I had to play it myself (I didn’t spoil myself since it was basically up to gaur plains)
It was a masterpiece it was worth waiting for the remaster (basically waited since smash 4’s release)
Xenoblade 2 was goofy but had so many good memories
Xenoblade 3 I expected to be good and was better than I expected
And this DLC was a reward
I glad I got curious about this series
Fei Fong Wong… cough cough cough,, I mean Matthew, I mean Xeno bros
Knowing the Madman he is he just would weave them all into one now. After that setup in the ending it would be madness not to do that.
@@Justforvisit probably has the next two stories planned/written already and the third outline for that story in his head
Now we wait for Saga remakes
Thanks for sharing your journey with us, Sarah. 🙏 So glad MonolithSoft released this DLC. Excited to see what comes next!
I've never been this startled by a green rock in my life
God damn it Sarah, you got me crying with you AGAIN 😭😭😭
Thank you Sarah! the past 2 ish years watching your playthroughs (3 times i think) and your reactions always gives the tingles. Your reactions are always so genuine and honestly helped me understand the plot for XC2 better. Until your next adventure!
Thank you so much for the highlights, it's been such a blast having someone as emotional as me play through this and at my wedding in a few months I will be playing that gorgeous end credits song as this series has meant so much to my partner and I
Xenoblade Chronicles is my favorite franchise of all time ❤
41:26 I love the fact that when Na'el says "there's nothing here to ruin our happiness here", the broadcaster on the radio is talking about potential human rights violations, good storytelling reminding us on on what we already know- that this is no paradise
This is just a new beginning! And you can play Gears and Saga in the meanwhile at least. Thank you for everything tooooo
I love the dichotomy of Na'el speaking about peace and safety as the radio is talking about a human rights bill being discussed/rejected. Dramatic Irony in its purest form right there.
Absolutely phenomenal, see y'all in the inevitable Warriors spin-off, I can see it clear as day
I don’t like warriors type games. But if it’s Xenoblade then I I’ll definitely play it. Plus it definitely will give us more answers to the lore for sure if it does come out!
Thank you for your videos, I love your reactions and your energy so much!!
So if Matthew was a Vandam, and so was Na'el, and Ghondor, would Noah (N) also be a Vandam?
This is one of the very best game ive ever played
Fun fact: (I haven’t seen anyone mention it) but the song being played on the Piano is the menu theme and the theme sang at the end of the dlc
