Spotter Plane: Slepsev Storch SS4
Full out war on hogs. Complete with recon and air support.
😁
No point messing around Bubba!! We'd add artillery to list if we could.
@@OFACer im not sure what is legal where you are. But perhaps look into using tanerite if your looking for some more "reactive" ways to kull the herds. Great shooting yall :)
@@squiddyman307 That would be very reactive indeed! 👍😅
I doubt they would even let tanerite into the country over here unfortunately.
only Australians and I mean that with all due respect
@@mr.fbody9111it’s like the Texas version of Great Britain
Great shooting guys. Love the spotter plane lol!
Thanks Stu. Feels like we're cheating a bit using the plane.
The Red Bacon flies again!
I see the Australians have improved their wildlife/bush tactics after the emu war
If I ever make it to Australia we definitely have to meet up. This is the most awesome thing I’ve ever seen before
😁👍
Cheers Ben!!
that spotter plane left me dead ahahahaahha
Looks like the german east africa corps tookma wrong turn ;)
@@TheVicVance why the hell is there an iron cross on it xD almost like the finish airforce who had a swastika on their military planes until 2017 hahah
@@CAARLcseditsandmore it´s a fieseler storch, an actual ww2 german spotter plane
And the iron cross and swatstika on the plane
It's amazing to me how flat ya'lls land is! I haven't seen or driven on any land that flat. Where you can drive through brush, then a plowed field, and grass land at good speeds and not be bouncing all over the place. I would have never expected to be able to drive and shoot a shotgun out the window simultaneously. Well done!
Thanks Alan!😁
Yeah there's plenty of flat country through inland Australia. This style of shooting is a quick efficient way of cleaning up hogs in these areas. It's a common why to do it in these parts.
It's good fun. Glad you enjoy the Vids.👍😁
Florida has some flat land and boars too!
Coughs Iowa
@@Ghostyfrost9688eh not as good as that I'd say Australia is a tid better, Florida is basically just tropical Australia with smaller creatures
I wish I could do that for a living...looks like fun. Nice video.
Cheers Mate.👍
Keeps us entertained.😁💯
im a fan as from tonite fellas first time ive seen ur vids great footage. luv to no were and how ur alowd the semi auto shotys there real handy hey big thumbs up.
Glad you like it beaver. Welcome aboard.
The Semi-Autos are handy alright. It's a shame it's such a pain in the ass to get a licence for them here.
Love what you guys produce. Could you give a run down on why you use AAA for your chosen round please.
great footage. awesome to see some good hunting stuff coming out of Australia keep it up
Thanks for the encouragement Paul! Glad you like it.👍
Blessed country.
Love from Greece.

@@OFACer God with you all.
Bruh they litterrally have a real life UAV
this looks like a straight up fps hunting game lol
when you have the Luftwaffe helping do recon
The paint job on that plane is sick
This is great stuff!!.. You've probably answered this a thousand times... how to you all get away with using semi-auto firearms??
Cheers mate!!
In Australia you can apply to have Semi-auto's if you own a farm with lots of feral to control or you work as a Contract Shooter.
I love what you guys are doing keep on doing the good work
Thanks Edusense!👍
This looks like a job I could enjoy 🤣
In the 🇺🇸 we call that side of the car “riding shotgun”. Awesome in 🇦🇺 they shoot shotguns out of that side. Do you guys use drones now?
Excellent vids / channel...I have subbed 👍👍
Love ya support Swish Swish.😁
Call of duty side missions!!!🐗🎯
This some real army stuff here. Only thing different … you ain’t getting shot at.
You guys strap in or anything while you’re in the back? I’d be shitting my pants that I’d fall out the thing 😂
Increíble; espectacular!!!

Gracias por el apoyo Silvina!
Me encantaría visitar Argentina algún día. Usé Google para traducir, así que espero que esto tenga sentido.
I'm in NZ, I would pay to do this. Give me a shout. Very experienced with firearms.
Great stuff fellas, what Choke do you use with the AAA's??
Thanks Theo!👍😁
I'm using half choke in my 28in Benelli. It would pay to experiment with your own shotty though. Pattern it on some paper and see how it looks.
Brodie’s sliding on his opps 😂
luvin' every minute of it!! 👍🏼

That just looks fun!
Great shot there sir
Cheers mate.👍😁
Do you have cooking videos too? This makes me hungry
Haha... not yet Tony. Maybe in the future.
I love my pork!😁
excellent work
Thanks mate.👍
Pretty precise shooting, support you guys from China : )
I love my BENELLI best gun ive ever owned .
It would be up there with the best for me too.👍
Must be scary trying to hunt them considering how aggressive razorbacks are like any Pig
Wow great stuff. What is mag cap in your country ?
Depends what Classification of Licence you have. I have a Category D licence which basically means I can have any size mag I like. But most licence Category's here are limited to either 5 or 10.

You guys should be metal detecting for Gold there in-between hog hunting! I didn't know you guys had the pigs out there
thats awesome mate!!!
Nice nice nice 👍🏻👍🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Cheers mate!👍😁
This giving me bf4 vibes.
All I can think about is how hard it must be to get a shotgun in a country ran by tyrants
AAA.. at many yards can kill propelly a wild boar? amazing
Sorry for the late reply Jorge. Only just noticed it.
Medium to small hogs, AAA's will knock them down at up to 40 yards effectively. As long as there side on and not angling away. I find the AAA's far more effective than say 9 or 18 pellet SG's. There the perfect happy Medium for what we do.
Looks like fun!
nice vids man
how does this work do you guys do this on you own land or do you get paid for it to do it on someone elses land ?
Pretty much all of the above Thomas.
Cheers mate!👍
That looks so fun
australias sun is bugging they need to get that checked out and fixed on the next update
I would like to work there looks really fucking fun!!!!
Keeps us entertained that's for sure.😁👍
Wish I could take you out so you can try for yourself.
Hey mate when you shoot them and there still moving around is that nerves and there already dead or still alive
No there dead. Brain dead atleast. When you head shoot them they normally kick around a lot. Just like a Chook with its head cut off.
The heart can keep pumping for a long time after a brain shot.
If they are shot through the heart and lungs they can sometimes run for another 20 - 30 meters before they run out of blood and fall over. Normally they don't move much after that. Unlike a Brain shot.
If you see them fall over soon as there hit. It's either a Brain shot or it's spine is hit. Or it can also be both shoulders are smashed which would mean the heart and lungs are blown out aswell.
That is so cool
It looks as if you load tour shotgun with grapeshot!
What ever you want to call it. They do the trick when on target.
What rounds are you typically using?
Various Buckshot Loads. In this Video I was using Eley Alphamax 36gr AAA.
What are the laws surrounding this? if i knew the right people, would it be legal for me to come do this and borrow a gun or would that not be possible?
The laws do make it tricky but yes you could still do it legally with some contacts to help you out. You wouldn't be able to use Semi-auto's though. Only , bolt actions, lever actions etc...
@@OFACer the sound of a lever action is still appealing to me lol
Nice hunting boys nice
Thanks Buddy!
How many did you get and good job
Thanks Lokie. We shot over 60 that day. Most of the footage wasn't much chop.... some of it is on my Bloopers Video.
I trying to figure out and better understand gun laws in Australia I’m from the states I hope to go there someday!
Is the spotter plane a copy of a Luftwaffe spotter plane?
It sure is William. It's a 3/4 scale replica of a WW2 Luftwaffe Storch.
Perfect for what we use it for.
This one was build for a historical society in QLD.
@@OFACer Thanks for the reply. Love WWII piston driven planes, Allied and Axis.
Any specific reason for using shotguns? Most of the folks I know here (US) that hunt pigs use a 6.5 caliber rifle.
How big is the feral pig problem? Some states are being overwhelmed, Texas for one.
Cool videos!
@@williamt2951 Thanks William!👍😁
We use rifles also. From a moving vehicle like in the videos I put up here a Shotgun is far superior. We use rifles from stationary positions. From a Chopper a rifle is ok because they are so smooth. From a car that is bouncing across a rough field it is so hard to hit anything with a rifle.
Pigs have been a massive issue in Australia for many decades.
Farmers and the government spend millions trying to control there numbers. The government mainly uses poisons.
very good game
Bloody hell you guys are quick-where do you look first???
Lol I guess it just comes with a bit of practice Charly. Which we get plenty of.😊
Hey lads I have some guns and plenty of ammo I’m looking to get out and do some of this shooting any chance we could meet up
Hey Mathew, would love to help you out buddy. But I already have way more shooters than I can use.
What shotgun you guys using...??
I mainly use a Benelli M2. That's what I'm using in this Vid.
Why is the spotter plane painted in Luftwaffe camo?
Hi Yan Gindin. That plane is a 3/4 Scale replica of the German WW2 Fiesler Storch. It's called a Slepsev Storch SS4. This particular one was built for a historical society. Hence why they included the Luftwaffe Camo.
So its a model plane used to flush out ferals?
@@yangindin1338 It is now. They were purpose build as a Spotter plane during the war. Great for spotting ferals.
Big time pig carnage!
I like that plane
u like the swastika on the back?
What ammo do you guys primarily use for the shotguns? Is it just standard 00 buckshot or something else?
I have used OO Buckshot plenty of times bit for this type of shooting we have far more success with the smaller Buckshot like the 27 pellet #4Buckshot.
Looks like fun. What do you do with the meat? Is it edible?
Hi hrizzle, we eat some of the fatter ones that haven't been living on dead kangaroos which is common during the droughts. During good seasons when there's plenty of feed around there actually really good eating. Apart from that some are used for dog food. There are so many sometimes that it's impossible to use them all unfortunately.
@@OFACer here in Texas, once the freezer is full, we just leave them, buzzards and coyotes need to eat too. Not to mention pigs gotta eat too 😂
What happens to the carcasses after? Left for the wildlife or collected and eaten?
We collect the fat healthy looking ones. Have to be careful as they carry disease.
Our main aim is to kill as many as possible. There an introduced invasive species here in Australia.
This would be soo fun to do 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Why not semi auto shotguns with high capacity rounds..??🤔
They are Semi-auto's with big mags??
I call shotgun! *badum tsss*
Did you ever find your gun stock?
Yep I found the Recoil pad about 10 minutes after I lost it.👍
LOL, a Storch.
What state u guys shooting in?
New South Wales.
Reminds me of Vietnam
Muito bom de mais
I prefer to BBQ out back but if musters your thing, go fer it.
Why is the sky glitching
Matrix is ready for an update
is any of the shooting done on foot
Is it true you can’t eat em due to parasites?
They can carry lots of diseases and parasites.
We eat some when they look fat and healthy. It's a risk though.
What area is this?
Western NSW during a massive drought.
Brooo let a kiwi brother come over an help ahahah
Load up and jump on board bro!!😁👍
What about using a drone
The plane is much better for many reasons. The main reasons are it can stay in the air for hours and it makes enough noise to get the pigs to break cover and run.
Like any shotgun shooting 99% misses r behind
Lmao the nazi plane
Nice Fi 156 Storch lol
Haha.. thanks mate. It's actually a Slepsev Storch SS4 which is a 3/4 Scale replica of the Fi 156 Storch.
@@OFACer was gonna say, no way it's the real deal ahah.
you need a semi auto rifle
Yeah I do have Semi-Auto Rifles. We find the 12GA Shotgun more effective from a moving car that's bouncing across a field.
Hey sassy mate
@@DecentFella- ohh ayyyeee how's it going Nolsey? *hits bong
No-one saw the nazist symbol on the plane? Lmao
Lol.
A few have seen it in other vids.
It's a replica of a German WW2 Storch and this particular one was built for a historical society hence why it has the Luftwaffe paint job.
Action all the way
Suprised there isn't a guy in the plane with an AR
Mate.....their fucking ars were taken remember?
alpha max 36gr;;;how many pellets on there and wich ine chock on m2;;;;nice video dude
Cheers mate!😁👍
There's about 45 pellets in those Eley Alphamax 36gr AAA. Which in theory most people would say was way to small. It practice they Kill so well. Although for those really Big boars, bigger shot would be preferable.
On a 28 inch Barrel I use half Choke. But with all new Ammo I recommend to pattern it on paper before taking in the field to see what Choke works best for that gun and load. Also depends what your shooting ofc.
@@OFACer everuy shot sheel at first is tested on the paper and then it will be first on my barel for sure...but i use 12 cauge benelli m2sp...and this yeat i kill wild boars with nsi 8 pellets and remigton 10 pellets magnum...you are using AAA beacuse the y are cheap or you like them more than the other brands;;; i am realy curius
@Bibis xXx The Eley Alphamax AAA work far better than other AAA Buckshot loads I've used. They pattern better and the shot is harder.
If I was to use OO Buck I'd definitely go with the 3 or 3.5 inch Magnum loads. That's if cost wasn't a factor.
The trouble with the OO or OOO Buckshot loads is there is simply not enough peices in the Air. They penatrate well being bigger, heavier pellets but at 30 - 40 meters often not one pellet will hit a vital.
I have so much more success using smaller Buckshot with atleast 16 pellets. The speed and the hardness of the Shot makes a huge difference. Copper Plated Shot Doesn't deform and give erratic patterns plus also gives deep penatration.
Hope that makes sense.
@@OFACer it does make sense when we talk aboout wild boars but to kill a big boar you must use a 3 inch shells when the weather is cold outside...at summer i use 8 pellets nsi 2,3 inches and now i use 3 inches 10 pellet remigton...i want to try 15 pelet 3 incheswinchester on boars but i thing beacuse of the 000 buck i am not gonna do a big damage at the animal...ofc i have more pellets but not that big as an 00 shotshell...did you ever kill a boar up to 50 metres or farther;;;with one or 2 shots;;; ty for your answers dude for real...
What type of Ammo do you use in the shotgun mate
Hi Jack, Eley Alphamax 36gr AAA.
