As a theoretical physicist (don't judge me), I can say that the matter transference effect (the quantum singularity jump) was incredibly accurate visually in depiction--theoretically. Especially with the bright dot appearing in the pool before the time/space jump of that specific area of three-dimensional space is undergoing displacement. Translation: the teleportation effect looked accurate.
Love how they even added the detail of the water from the pool on Septarus replacing him in his lab and filling the hole where the console was. And the agony of being dimensionally displaced. Yeah, that shit would probably hurt like hell if it didn't kill you outright.
This is fantastic. One nice touch was that the drink can has the old-fashioned type of pull tab that comes off when you open it. That's amazing attention to detail. I don't even know how you managed to find a can that had one.
It's just incredible how you go beyond in every new video! And always by doing things so different from the previous ones, like the human scenes in this one... Hats off for your skills and good taste.
Excellent work! Thank you very much for taking me back to my childhood! I will never forget the first time I watched the Another World intro on my A500...it still sends shivers down my spine to this day.
I grew up playing this game, and loved your version of the intro. I know that took a good bit of effort so thank you for staying true to the original. Damn good work!
Incredible. Just incredible. Chahi must have been blown away by this. So many nice additions! One minuscule nitpick -- In the original, Lester pauses on whether to leave the "SHIELD 1" off. The implication being that this is why it all went wrong. Anyway, that's nothing. This is SOOOO well done!
I remember seeing this vid when it came out (already almost 10 years ago, wow) and I still firmly believe that if, for whatever reason, a full remake of this game came out, this early-CG-mixed-with-real-actors style is the ONLY acceptable way to do it
It's time you came back again Tolobo... to reminisce ... It's been 31 years since this was released. If you were anything like me, you'd be playing this in your bedroom.
THIS IS AWSOME!!!! ABSOLUT GREAT WORK!!!! This was one of the first Game Intros that really grabbed me and put me into "Another World". The Unique Graphics for its time did the rest. A friend of mine had this game on Amiga 500. I still remember it like yesterday :) GREAT JOB GUYS!!! THX SO MUCH
This video is out of this world! Epic and awesome work buddy! I can imagine it took a lot of hard work to make it. Can't wait until you translate the rest of the game into a movie ;p
I literally sat here, staring at the whole video. You really captured the spirit of the original intro and added few extras without disturbing the original setting! I have to keep my eye on your work! Sub!
I Remembered my Amiga 500, this was absolutely amazing when I saw original Intro in the 90-ties. When I saw this nowadays, I feel the same. By the way, very interesting in the beginning, an animated floppy of the new Kickstart on the CRT screen...
Wow, this brought back memory's of the game and how i loved to play it so much. Don't apologize for the low quality capture's sir. I thank you for the video. It was amazing and indeed a great Job you and your team did. I would definitely see this in theaters if it was on the big screen.
Wow. Just wow. Nice job! Even down to the entry code. Don't even be too hard on yourself on the bits you don't like. You pulled it off. Brought to life one of my best memories from the 90's. Nailed it.
I REALLY love this! The only complaint I have is that you give the impression that Lester works for someone else, or the work he is doing is not his own, which really goes against the game's canon. Lester's experiment is an entirely solo project. Other than that, this is impeccable!
Lester Knight Chaykin Thanks... And you are not the only one thinks that way.. The idea was that for the past 20 years, i was thinking that he works for some one, and he happened to work late, and the only one in the facility.
Yeah I agree with this, cuz' Lester really is Eric Chahi. Kudos for thinking through of why would a guy runs a lab for particle accelerator by himself. Then again, there's Elon Musk.
Agreed. This is remarkably well done, and I loved the attention to details from the original masterpiece. My only critique is the dialog in the beginning. The original game had no vocal dialog, and I think that strongly contributed to it being globally well-received. Sure, there are some details in English, such as in the lab, but many people in the world work with technology in another language when it is not their primary tongue. Aside from that (which wasn't even much of a demerit), this video is superb. Good work!
Well done! I hope Eric Chahi sees this. I like the new added details like when Lester gets teleported there's now some water left in the hole. Very nice touches!
THAT'S HOW IT SHOULDA BEEN REMADE. ~ Nice job man. Holy shit it looks awesome. I'd pay good money if this was the remake. Seriously, you got talent I wish I had.
Freaking. Excellent. You keep topping yourself with each new video... And this is pretty much all of the game I've managed to see because of the insane difficulty. Congrats to you and another great tribute to a classic game.
really nice man, great work, you respected the work of Chahi there. Just bought the 20th anniversary edition on steam 3 days ago and finished it today, that was truly a great game.
Definitely did this whole story justice with that Amiga desktop in the beginning. Beautiful work! Glad to see how great of an impact this game has on everyone.
I am shocked I have not seen this yet.... Amazing job! I love how you kept to the original while adding cool new details that just make it better! I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. PERFECT! Love the part when you appear in the pool. So cool!
OMG!!! really awesome, i love this game, now i can feel complete for this intro ramke, really you do a great job, please continue doing its remakes, i enjoy its a lot.
All I can say is that is F* brilliant - lot of hard work went into this - and with the rest of the posters - you want to see more which is a testament to your work 8-)
And then he gots dragged back into the water for staying too long :D Seriously, this is an awesome work, very careful job on the details. It would be so cool to see the gameplay itself with this work, but I guess it would be a hellova lot work.
Yeah, but you know what'd happen. Producers and writers getting involved. They want to add their own "ideas" (cliches) to proof they earn that money. It'd go to "and then the hero falls in love" and "big evil final boss" then producers pulls out, actors being replaced, project switches studio... This is called a movie's development hell and happened to many many projects. So IMHO better leave Another World, Half-Life and other great games alone. :/
Very very awesome. One of my favs as a kid. Very very well done! Wish there was an entire game version like this. A lot of remakes happening these days. Just found nes Shadowgate 2014 version. Lol. Looking at your other vids now.
Amazing. I still think today the direction and story boarding of the original are first class, your video is true to the original. What I really like about the original is the intro sequence wasn't far off the game play. Such an awesome game, and your video would work well with a remake on a modern system. Thanks I really enjoyed it.
The gratuitous chromakey filter creates a discoloration and edge pixellation which are oddly authentic. The green glowing lights kinda overshadow it, and the bleached out skin and edge-pixellated hands are like a kind of homage to the original artifacts, with new, much more high tech, ones. You apologize for the underwater scene? That was supremely awesome and I have no idea how you did that, and the 3D waves. Wow.
Lee Slater PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS FUCKING AMAZING,I LOVE THIS GAME ALWAYS HAVE AND I OWN HEART OF THE ALEIN ON SEGA CD,AND OF COURSE FLASHBACK ON 3DO
That was really great man. My only note would be the actor looks a little young to be the professor. I always imagined the professor drove there that night because he couldn't wait to continue his work, as it was almost complete, but none the less I like that you expanded the very beginning.Great animation! Very accurate! Very enjoyable!
I played this game for the first time in 1992 when i was 10 years old. One of the best games ever. I saw this clip here for the first time now...and it blews me away! Incredible work!!! I am more than sure Eric Chahi would love this too. If this game ever should become a movie one day, you guys should do it!

For people who have played Another World in the 90s, this is epic. So faithful to the original... brings back memories.
Apparently there was a sequel, but it was only available on PC
It's on PlayStation
I just googled it@@thedarksideoftheforce6658 , and it was only available on PC and Sega CD
lightning effect was well done, felt like the original.
I like the remake of the intro. Kept the scenes and the atmosphere of the original game but added a few more elements that would make it better.
This is fantastic. One nice touch was that the drink can has the old-fashioned type of pull tab that comes off when you open it. That's amazing attention to detail. I don't even know how you managed to find a can that had one.
Make the full movie!

@Nicholas Castillo scene 2: Ten minutes of kicking at leeches
Are you insane!? Remake the game as a early 90s scy fi show.
Just saying because of how it plays the game could look like this for a dollar
Id also like it if this guy remade flashback for a whole new generation and now video games are Hollywood with remake
It's just incredible how you go beyond in every new video! And always by doing things so different from the previous ones, like the human scenes in this one...
Hats off for your skills and good taste.
Amiga + Workbench 3.1, that's a man with honor!
ua-cam.com/video/jzIUUuDVxc0/v-deo.html
I can still remember watching someone play this in the local Amiga Store (remember those?) back in the day. Everyone was just blown away by it.
Another incredible video from Rickonami... They get more and more epic every time!!!
indeed
Excellent work! Thank you very much for taking me back to my childhood! I will never forget the first time I watched the Another World intro on my A500...it still sends shivers down my spine to this day.
Wow, it's extremelly close to the game, Congratulations. I'm feeling 20 years back to the past...
Thx :)
Same here

seriously, thank you. seems like everything you guys touch is gold. and it's always something ive never seen before.
Now let's work on the next game. FLASHBACK!
I remember seeing this vid when it came out (already almost 10 years ago, wow) and I still firmly believe that if, for whatever reason, a full remake of this game came out, this early-CG-mixed-with-real-actors style is the ONLY acceptable way to do it
I still come back to this video every once in a while, it's so incredible. Thank you for making this!!!!
It's time you came back again Tolobo... to reminisce ... It's been 31 years since this was released. If you were anything like me, you'd be playing this in your bedroom.

Comment from one of the best video producers on youtube! Hype
Jesus Christ! I have to replay “Another World” now, for the umpteenth time. Stellar!
I literally sat here, staring at the whole video. You really captured the spirit of the original intro and added few extras without disturbing the original setting! I have to keep my eye on your work! Sub!
Thanks man :D
The End Scene gets the atmosphere of this game in other dimensions. Brilliant
Fantastic job recreating the original OOTW!! Very true to the game! I'd love to see a full film!
I could not believe how accurate this is!
Great job. Thank you so much for making this video. I feel like I went back to my childhood when I first played in this game )))
Soon as that elevator door closed, I was eagerly anticipating those choral notes, and there they were... :)
I Remembered my Amiga 500, this was absolutely amazing when I saw original Intro in the 90-ties. When I saw this nowadays, I feel the same. By the way, very interesting in the beginning, an animated floppy of the new Kickstart on the CRT screen...
This may be the most nostalgia triggering video on youtube
A very impressive and faithful representation of the another world intro. It would be amazing to see a full game version of this. :)
I loved the Amiga detail asking for the floppy disk!
I am speechless....this is omg so awesomely remade. Man whoever you are you rock!
Wow, this brought back memory's of the game and how i loved to play it so much. Don't apologize for the low quality capture's sir. I thank you for the video. It was amazing and indeed a great Job you and your team did. I would definitely see this in theaters if it was on the big screen.
Amazing. As a fan of the game and as CG artist, this is a really nice job.
Wow. Just wow. Nice job! Even down to the entry code. Don't even be too hard on yourself on the bits you don't like. You pulled it off. Brought to life one of my best memories from the 90's. Nailed it.
As someone who played the original when it came out, this is really well done!
I really love this game from my childhood, the nostalgia hit me hard with this

You better take a move, Lester. You don't wanna meet Mr. Tentacles back there in that pond.
That quite simply, was AWESOME!!!!! Unbelievable skills there, amazing remake of that amazing intro. Love it, you just got a new subscriber.
I just discovered this today, very impressive, cheers me up to see so many fans of this classic game. Peace!
really out of this world. Hope is near.
Awesome! Loved games like this and Flashback. Good work!
Absolutely brilliant. I have been a fan of Another World for many many years and have always wanted a fan remake. This shows how it might be!!!
THAT'S HOW IT SHOULDA BEEN REMADE.
~ Nice job man. Holy shit it looks awesome. I'd pay good money if this was the remake. Seriously, you got talent I wish I had.
Thanks :)
Awesome recreation mate. Nice to see some love for one of my favourite game openings of all time. Amazing as always, keep it up!
This was EPIC! I loved every second of it, great work!
Freaking. Excellent. You keep topping yourself with each new video... And this is pretty much all of the game I've managed to see because of the insane difficulty. Congrats to you and another great tribute to a classic game.
really nice man, great work, you respected the work of Chahi there. Just bought the 20th anniversary edition on steam 3 days ago and finished it today, that was truly a great game.
this is great!!!!! taht splash was so cinematic and the fact that his eyes would have to adjust to the different lighting is also a very nice touch!
I loved this game way back in the day! Awesome work.
Amazing, took a screenshot of that last scene with Lester standing at the alien world to use as a background because it was so beautiful!
Holy shit that was badass, well done man. Protagonist is a lil young, but that is nit picking. If only the game could be remade with this vision.
FAN-freaking-TASTIC. Amazing little tribute to one of my favorite games ever. Well done, sir. Well done.
Well, wow! Loved it! Great job, dude!
Definitely did this whole story justice with that Amiga desktop in the beginning. Beautiful work! Glad to see how great of an impact this game has on everyone.

Fantastic work, I really enjoyed! AfterEffects?
Great work! It feels like you once again breathe new life into the masterpiece!
Perfect work and I'm ok with the dialog at the beginning. Excellent !!
And then he gots dragged back into the water for staying too long :D
Seriously, this is an awesome work, very careful job on the details. It would be so cool to see the gameplay itself with this work, but I guess it would be a hellova lot work.
+xxlCortez Thanks man :) And yeah, i wish for that too.
Great!! Can you make movie of all levels this game?
Great intro remake of one of the best old indie games of all time.

Tanti e mille grazie per il tuo commento 🥰🥰
Man.....this was amazing, I loved this game growing up on the Sega CD and even the SNES port was fun too!
Great job!
Amasing work! You made an old Another World fan incredibly happy today!
superb, faithful remake congratulations. love the music remix too at the end.
Remarkable work here... You and your whole team deserve major kudos!
There needs to be an Another World movie!!
Yeah, but you know what'd happen. Producers and writers getting involved. They want to add their own "ideas" (cliches) to proof they earn that money. It'd go to "and then the hero falls in love" and "big evil final boss" then producers pulls out, actors being replaced, project switches studio...

@@MinekEzQM Yeah no, fair enough.
At first I thought you should have created a more stylized version of yourself, but I think it works the way it is.
love the Amiga in the background :)
Back in the Days! You made it in HD!!! Great Work !
Very very awesome. One of my favs as a kid. Very very well done! Wish there was an entire game version like this. A lot of remakes happening these days. Just found nes Shadowgate 2014 version. Lol. Looking at your other vids now.

+Jan Van Nieuwenhove Thank u :) this project is my fav.
this deserves a movie... another world is a creative and fresh concept, original and has all the elements of a cool scifi adventure movie...
Awesome video man, really nice.

This is seriously impressive.
I've only ever played Flashback but now I want to play this too! You've really stepped things up this time, awesome work!
This is very well Done.... Now you need to make the whole game like that! :-)
