Love it man. I’ve got almost the same car, but at EQT stage 2. Kinda wanna go back to Stage 1, since I can’t hook up the first two gears no matter what tires I get. I’d much rather enjoy lower gears with lower power. What kind of tires are you running to out the power done ?
I have the same problem man with my APR stage 2 mk7. I've been thinking about getting Michelin pilot sport 4s for the summer since the conti all seasons don't hook in 2nd and 3rd. They're expensive but cheaper than installing a wavetrec LSD
I drive a Skoda Octavia VRS, dont know if you guys know them in the US. Same engine in a station wagon. I wish we had lesser regulations in Germany so mine would sound like that. At least I got him legally almost straigt piped but that turbo noises would make you huge problems here. TÜV is a bad thing dude. nevertheless, clean build, love it.
I highly recommend getting rid of your EQT OTS tune, and get custom tuned. Doesn’t matter who you get custom tuned by, but it will be a lot better, and more reliable, for your car. I personally know two local MK7 GTI guys, that have blown motors, both tuned by EQT. Not saying they’re tunes are bad, but pushing a car hard on OTS tunes just isn’t the smartest. Especially seeing you have a nasty wire to piggyback your flat-foot-shifting lol, that’s ghetto man. Do it right.
How's your experience with driving the car in Cali? I wanna bring my mk7 with me when I move back, but my car homies out there keep saying they've gotten a lot more strict with cars the past couple of years since I moved.
Yo I have a mk7 gti as well witht the CTS catless downpipe, If I don't have the ac on recycle I have a lot of exhaust fumes coming into the cabin. Do you have similar problems? Also do you have a diverter valve is that why you have so much turbo flutter?
Dude I love my mk7 gti, it has a full turbo back exhaust that is obnoxiously loud, but I don't get flutter bc I have a blow-off valve installed, but I love the flutter on ur's.

I’m running pirelli p7 cinturato I believe they are a all season tire.

You can also try installing a dogbone mount. It can help with traction

the dv spacer do not sound like that. that noise is when the turbo go backwards suddenly and that going to damage your turbo.

Have a stage 1 Tiguan with a diverter valve delete and apr tuning intake, the flutter is CRAZY

HAHAHA yeah that wire harness is pretty wonky. Its for a wot box, I only used it a handful of times. Its in the car at the moment.

What blow off valve is that and does it fit mk6 gti?
It is not a blow off valve, it is a DV spacer from ecs tuning. Check out my full mod list video. I believe they do sell one for the mk6.
