    Bruh I really appreciate your videos. It's been paramount to forming my idea's into reality. Just a couple of requests I have to get your opinion/perspective on somethings.
    •How to handle multiple story arcs
    •How to start and refine your beginning outline for your story/characters.
    • Diversity in your stories(how to create characters that aren't stereotypes but genuine)
    •Creating a simple story with real depth.
    Just some ideas bruh. Great videos!

    Heyy, these're pretty solid! Thanks for providing. I especially liked how you used the example of an event in Apple Black and gave a bit of context! Even without prior knowledge of your manga, I was able to get a clear idea of what you were trying to get across to us.
    Probably my only criticism here - the term 'tranny' is derogative, and using that casually tends to give bad vibes. :\
    But other than that, I'm interested to see what else you can give us aspiring serial-makers Tips on!

    Damn its so hard... I wrote/ drawn 3 beginnings of a story. Longest has 8 pages. But I cringe at my own story. I'm sooo hard to myself. Especially when I draw. I allways try to change the angles but my skills aren't there yet, I struggle a lot.

    hey man just found your youtube channel. really amazing! i have a question however, I dont have a drawing table, pencils, inks etc..... but a Cintiq 27qHD. Is it possible to do quality work without traditionel pencil&ink work? I have never drew anything remotely close to manga/anime but maybe wanted to make it my little secret hobby.

    • @monkeyXmonkey
      @monkeyXmonkey 8 років тому +1

      Dude, why do you even have a cintiq lol.... But seriously, just work with what you got, and since you have a cintiq, just work with that. Quality work can be done with any medium. So just go draw, and have fun.

    • @ggs4869
      @ggs4869 8 років тому

      monkeyXmonkey yes thats what I thought first but digitally my linework sucks hard. I dont think you can have great lineweight because the medium limits you. I saw some videos where pros kept it traditionel all the way, all the time. I dont know if lines can have personality if you do it digital but then again there is a cintiq lying around and maybe its gonna work out somehow. My concern is, that i get a screwed up workflow.

    • @monkeyXmonkey
      @monkeyXmonkey 8 років тому

      Just draw man, don't concern yourself too much and just adapt and use what you have. Personality can flow from any type of medium, digital or traditional. Only thing that's limiting you is yourself. Also, I'm sure you can acquire a pencil and paper easily if you think digital is too much atm. I mean, how can you just have a cintiq lying around, and not have a paper and pencil, and a regular table. lol

    • @ggs4869
      @ggs4869 8 років тому

      monkeyXmonkey I draw for about 6 years (more serious) now and its part of my future career ( Architecture) but Manga/ Anime is a different world in terms of drawing. I got the fundamentals down but dont want to develope bad habbits.

    • @GarouThehumanmonsterZZ

    how do you make a double spread page?

    • @16JPE
      @16JPE 8 років тому +2

      You just take two pages, and right at the part where they insect (go to the spine) they go on top of one another and you just draw the double spread. I hope that made sense. If you get buy a manga pages book at a art store the book will have instructions on how to make double spreads

    I just figured out that you sometimes draw original characters from the comments and I would like you to draw mine.
    Name: Soda
    Gender: Female
    Height: 5'1 In (154.94 cm)
    Weight: 98 Ib (44.5 Kg)
    Cup Size: 28 B
    Info: She is a lively and spunky young girl. She wears a purple dress under a white dress under a sort of vest. She has short spiky blue hair and purple eyes. She is very cheerful and loves to eat. She is very energetic and she wants to become a hero although she can be quite lazy at times. Her main abilities include shooting purple fire from her hands and fingers, sword skills and levitation. Without going into much details she is actually millenniums old. She is the goddess of creation although she got lazy and fell asleep just waking up in this age.
    I actually have a picture of her on my Facebook if you were interested.
    facebook.com/NeptuniaMasterXD/photos_albums
    The one that says MKII is her current design.
    I'd love to have your take on her and would be happy if you drew her yourself! Thx
