WWE has good fans lol, they’re better at cheering than in most actual sports, and it’s also bc we know it’s scripted and out reactions actually can impact a match
Wrestlemania X8 comes to mind, and the crowd hijacking influenced the match. Rock vs. Hogan was supposed to be Rock as the face and (Hollywood) Hogan as the heel. The WWE crowd fueled by nostalgia wanted to cheer for the returning Hogan, so the wrestlers flipped roles in the match.
7:00 - something worth seeking out is the Wrestlemania 30 media conference - Batista cut a promo about how he had some time since wrapping up Guardians so he decided he'd come back and win the WHC - those in attendance didn't respond and he lost it - pretending to be a fan - shouting 'bootista' at himself, making fun of his skinny jeans, etc.

Cena is genuinely one of the best WWE ever had in terms of the full package. From being able to work with hostile / apathetic crowds, charisma, solid in ring work, crossover appeal, and company ambassador, the dude's presence has really been missed. Retrospectives like these are really great at capturing what made Cena THE guy for a decade.
And he's also one of the most devoted to his fans. He loves his fans and he'll happily go out of his way to make their day truly special. Paul Heyman is another such example (despite him technically not being an actual wrestler), but to me, he's even more impressive as he can do it while also being a HEEL!
The editing on this episode in particular is exquisite. The transitions between scenes is fantastic, and the layout was very entertaining. Just wanted to give credit where it is due...
I was at that King of The Ring in 95 and remember hearing some of the ECW chants, but what was even worse was after Mabel was crowned King of The Ring, Fans booed him unmercifully and he was hit in the face by someone's drink cup.
The way Cena naturally goes with it and works on the fly shows why he’s so good both in the ring action and on the mic my favorite is him pulling Daniel Bryan over when he was so over or when they say we want lesnar and he goes well I want the rock 😂 classic
"They're chanting my name" Michael Cole....that was great. ECW hijackings were always great. The Original Raw Crowd Hijack actually took place the night after WM18 in 2002 in Montreal Canada. Watch the opening segment with Flair & McMahon the crowd shit all over the segment you even catch Vince telling Ric to carry on talking over it.

The highlight of the match was someone in the audience dressed like Hulk Hogan began doing Hogan-like taunts and getting a loud Hogan chant. -Batista vs Big Show-ECW 2006-WWE was doing an ECW show at Hammerstein's which meant there were going to be diehard ECW fans. WWE decided the match to give them that night was Batista and Big Show. During the show fans were rewarded with a Diva Search vs WWE Diva dodgeball match. After the segment fans were booing it to which Lawler said he didn't understand why the fans were booing. Unsure if this has been commented but I’ve heard that they changed the outcome of the RVD and Cena match halfway through cause they were worried how the crowd would react with a Cena win.
