Niemoc, bezradność, miłość, tęsknota - wszystko wymieszane ze sobą w bezlitosnych proporcjach..
My favorite scene in any modern film.
@Jake Shevitz What do you mean?
@@guts1258 he committed suicide 😔
seeing this comment here made me so sad. rest easy Eli
Rest in power even i don’t know you but seeing this comment make me sad
@@shirleysonsproductions6187 who is he? :(
one of the most heartbreaking scenes i’ve seen in my life.
❤❤❤❤
One of the best scenes I've seen in my life
I really like Xavier Dolan because he doesn't solve problems in his movies. As if family's troubles are just permanent state to accept. Just deal with it. Some could speak about to much bitterness and drama, but it's the reality. And to those who relate to the mother or the son on that movie, it's a beginning for redemption and acceptation.
French here excuse my english
this film was an emotional rollercoaster.
The moment you see that shot of Kyla staring out the window at the car and this song starts playing, you just know something is up.
watching this after 6 years made me remember why was everyone in the cinema crying
This sequence deserves oscar
Well it did recieve a price at Cannes and at the cesars (french equivalent of the oscars)
The Music, the editing, the cinematography, the aspect ratio, the ghostly dialogue in the background.
The best scene in cinema history.
i cried while watching this scene
who didn't? it's beautiful!
Javier Garcia movie name?
@@saheelfaisal3965 Mommy
This song is just... and the muffled whispering in the background... heartbreaking
The moment Dolan's career peaked.
The fact that his destiny was to finish in mental hospital, and “got beaten by life” is so strong and back on earth and concusses and reality punch you in the face. God damn. Reality is so brutal.
And fk reality.
I totally assume the fact I was crying like a little girl during this scene.
boys are allowed to cry without referring to girls.
Morgan Durand take it easy!
you mean like a man?
Crying is so manly

i just finished this film and I needed to come back to see this cause this IS cinema
the fact that you cry more the second time you watch this scene....
Sameeeee
You have no idea just how right you are. The second time I saw this movie I cried like hell...
@@lnaho5320 because you knew it was just a dream. she just won't admit it.
Never cried so much..And I knew I'd cry. This is what makes art Higher Art. Xavier Dolan knows how to be an human, in the good and the bad.
Also this movie made me think about all my family relationships. And it all made sense
what a movie and this part is amazing...
This scene gives me anxiety. And is a fact that was created to give all kind of feelings, even sadness picturing you in that place. Dolan makes a great job with the close ups and slow motion. The music, as always, great. Maybe we're seeing one of the best film makers today
Yep sure
this movie uses music masterfully, you have this, the ending, and the scene with Wonderwall, fucking phenomenal
Im still crying when i remember this scene
One of the best sequences there exists in a movie
this scene broke my heart in countless pieces. completely shattered.
this film breakes me every time I get to this scene
To live with Adhd
To adapt in a world thats so confussing:’(
To not understand what is right and wrong!
To walk on the clouds, and then drop down!
But still my mum is there for me❤
Cette scène est incroyable
Monsieur incroyable !!!
Incroyablement triste aussi
Watching this movie was truly a real experience.
This has landed mind permanantly, one the best scenes in any film I've seen
This video and song is life...my favourite part of the film, ULTRA emotional
What a film! The soundtrack was one for the ages I love it! 💕 from Pakistan
It's a beautiful scene and also a sad scene. It's every parent wish for their children.
A scene that is able to change life of people, unique
Režisér Dolan si už ve velmi mladém věku postavil laťku nesmírně vysoko. Moc bych mu přál aby ji aspoň jednou dokázal ještě překonat, ale bude to mít nesmírně těžké, protože Mommy! je úžasný snímek!
"If there is an end, I am glad I met you"
This is true cinema and I'm crying...
Beautiful.I mean this scene draw life ‘s currently and beauty.
Nothing can beat this ❤️
Best scene ever
Best film ever!
This scene reminded me of the "The 25th Hour" scene at the end, where Monty's father imagines how his son's life would be like if he doesn't go to prison...
extenebrislux In some way, I guess yeah.
Crazy movie aswell btw
Yes but this is burtsl as hell. Coz this is mental issue, this is his destiny. He dont have free will.. but in same tike you can get in prison just for wrong desison in 10 second.
My favorite movie of all time
I heard he wrote the film based on this scene and music. Incredible
a fucking MASTERPIECE of a movie.
my favourite scene
❤❤❤❤
Masterpiece
beautiful...
This scene broke me
what a great performane from this guy
A masterpiece
OMG I CRIED WHEN I FOUND OUT this was only a dream she wanted this for her son, i wish this was how the movie ended and he actually grew up to be successful and married to that beautiful girl, instead it was only a dream and she ended up throwing him into that insane asylum, i am not a big fan of sub-titled movies but when i stumbled upon this i thought oh wow a troubled teenage boy and a single mom trying to control his anger issues and his out breaks, i dont agree with having him committed but after he kissed her she was like WTF my son is getting to fucked up and i have to do something, it was both dramatic, a couple funny parts, but a very serious movie, but when i seen this i thought wow what an epic scene i actually thought he became successful and got accepted into Juilliard School but in the end he ended up in a str8 jacket, wow what kind of parent puts her child in an insane asylum, idk i guess when he kissed her she just didn't know what on earth to do hey? GREAT MOVIE THOUGH one of the best French movies i've seen in a long time.
His mother wanted only the best for her son. She says it: I still have hope. She sent Steve to the asylum, so he could get treatment. Diane was thinking about what her son could accomplish if he went to a psychyatric hospital and came out "normal". The last thing Diane wanted was to send her sons to asylum. But she realized that it was the best decision to take.
@@PhilippeRobertson The most hurtful thing for me was to re-watch it and realize that the end begins with Steve hurting himself in the market. Diane and Kyla organize a last day of freedom for him, so he can have fun and remember those good times. A last day before going back to the asylum to get help. That's wonderful
The name of the movie plz

this scene always makes me cry
All time best scene😢

The scene/movie that made me realize the wonder named Einaudi 💜
This movie touched my life so strong 😭😭😭
Epic Moment......✨✨
When i’m high so much, i always listen this amazing emotionnal experience sound, automatical rewind

Ludovico Einaudi: Experience
This is cinema
I am now going through the worst days of my life, loss of passion and difficulty adapting to circumstances and people. I am broken and miserable. For 4 years I have not felt rest. ☄️☄️
I know what it feels like. I'm struggling a lot too. 3 months sober today!
Simplemente hermoso.
Made me cry 🥲
I was crying long before I realized it was all a lie
Warning This Video Hypnotized me
I'm not crying 😭
1:42 it’s kyla AND his mum… 😢
Fell asleep watching this movie but the music from this scene was so beautiful it woke me up😍
You felt asleep? Hahaha, I can't even... This movie always moves something inside me from the beginning til the end.
During the wedding scene what different things are being "whispered" in the background?
fights, we didnt noticed
Watch the movie Mommy from Xavier Dolan with the subtiles and you will understand the whole story behind the scene. It’s a French Canadian movie, and a masterpiece. 👌🏻
At 3:02 very loudly "liberté"
And then mostly insults at 3:16 "arrête de me faire chier sapristi"
What does the mother say at 1:21?
Mom ❤️
Que maravilla
