Schlatt, you’re loved. Not just your image, but you, your honesty and willingness to be open with your fans. People like you regardless of a image or persona. If you ever need help, please pursue it
i dont mean to be offtopic but does anyone know of a way to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot my login password. I would love any tricks you can give me!
Thanks for uploading on this channel schlatt, i really appreciate you being so personal and close with this mature section of your audience. Love the content!

I hope you don’t quit this type of content, Schlatt. It’s interesting to see a guy who’s known for being as funny as you be really serious and down to earth. It’s almost refreshing really. It’s nice to see the 2 sides of you and that you’re exploring both of them online
As happy as I am for you blowing up, I’m being really selfish because i loved talking to you in the comments when you had 2 k subs and I really do love your new content. Don’t feel like you have to portray an image either, I feel that this account should be a free place for you to be you or better yet across all your accounts you should be yourself. All the best, sorry for the grammar it was rushed.
I echo most of your sentiments there. His recent (deserved) popularity spike makes Schlatt feel like having a friend that you like to talk to but everyone else does too. I want nothing more for him than to see him succeed in a way that he wants, but seeing him get bigger while knowing that his ability to interact more personally with his audience is getting smaller is a bitter sweet feeling.
hey schlatt, I know everything about streaming is far more profitable. But I really do appreciate your content on your main channel. The funny mic persona is great for being funny but, I do think thats you. I hope the future holds something bright for you schlatt.
One of the reasons I really like your content is that I relate with you. you're just a really down to earth guy, when you're being serious, and when you're getting bullied on stream or are having a bad time I feel bad for you because that's probably what would happen to me in that situation. I love your work schlatt, I love you too (no homo)
Dude it's seriously uncanny how relatable he tends to be despite being a big "haha funny XD man." He slips into and out of that amiable and charismatic personality so easily he's going places for sure. It's super... satisfying? That I've come across someone so similar to me in particular though, my age even, because everyone on youtube was always so much older than me until this point. But here's someone who was and is into the same stuff as me, saw a lot of the things I did as a kid, and talking about issues im facing now. It's like making friends with a classmate you just met. It's just nice to see. You really do love to see it.
These videos remind me of Seananners really old cod commentaries where he'd just talk and be really open. I love your stuff schlatt. Thanks for these videos man
hey schlatt, i’ve just been through one of the worst weeks of my life, and when i pull up youtube to try and distract myself from my own thoughts, this is in my recommended. i know it’s been nearly a year since this was posted, but you have made me feel understood today, for the first time in months. thank you, sir.
Take it as a lesson, man. I'm happy you see how it is now, and please remember that. I personally knew someone who mentally collapsed because he got bullied online. He didn't commite suicide thankfully and is doing better now. But it was so hard to see because he was such a kind person just wanting to help others out all the time. It's as you say. We are all people and especially online it's easy to forget what words can do to somebody.
I somehow missed this upload but I really appreciate how real you are on this channel, I do wish a lot more channels would bring more positivity to the platform instead of all the drama.
Honestly, I’m really sad about the etika situation, it really hit me hard because he was my favorite streamer. I’m so glad that you uploaded this video schlatt.
schlatt, i know im speaking for a lot of people when i say that we love you for YOU. the funny mic stream persona is great, true, but i appreciate this version just as much, if not more. i believe that a lot of your fans (especially the ones on this channel) appreciate you just talking like this. ik that im gonna support you with either version, but please stay safe with it. we all love you
Schlatt your content recently has made me so happy you won’t believe how excited I get for a stream whenever I get that notification I drop everything. you have been an inspiration to me to be more open and be who I want to be you inspire me to do whatever I want even if that is just streaming a game and getting 0 viewers I love you and keep doing what you want to do you inspire me and a ton of others
This channel is very different from your other content, and tbh this is just amazing. I love hearing a more genuine and honest side of you. Your videos make me laugh like no others, but this is definitely important content and I love it.
Schlatt you'vr actually made me tear up for someone I haven't even heard of just because of your descriptions on how this person has brought joy to so many people and wow I'm in awe.
Damn dude, you became an anti-SJW UA-camr? Those dudes are the sort of people I avoid like the plague, and I think you can tell why. But if anything, that makes it even more incredible you managed to escape that mindset of negativity and bullying while still retaining a sense of humor that, while outrageous, doesn't actually hurt people. You give me hope that more people like that can be swayed from the path of being pessimistic to others. You really are just an average dude and... that's very relatable.
Dude you're content is truly amazing. You're the only person I've watched that I can be laughing with one minute, and listening to a genuinely intersting and thought provoking topic the next. I think I can easily say you're my favorite content Creator and I hope you continue to brighten up my days
Schlatt, we all love a good funny mic moment. But when watching the stream, it isn't the facecam, or screaming at Sea Shanty 2 that stand out to me--that's all clearly a facade; it's when you become more serious, and genuine, like this video when you stand out. So don't feel worried about dropping funny-mic-schlatt at times for the real you.
actually love sips and still watch him to this day and seeing this is opening my eyes on becoming a better person. numbers dont matter too much and stressing about it is not important. thanks schlatt
Reading Chronicle of a Death Foretold has taught me that people make bad decisions in the name of sticking with a facade they’ve created. I’m glad you were able to get yourself out of it. May your wisdom continue.
I know this is an older video so you wont see this schlatt. But loss is fucked. It never really stops being fucked. My friend back in 2018 essentially committed suicide in an od. I didnt know the depths that his depression was feeding from. After he died I found out and I thought I could've been the one to help him because I knew the people things went wrong with. I knew his story. But at the end of the day you believe that you could've done something you couldn't. When all you can do is just know that next time you may do things differently with another friend.
See schlatt, i think youre my idol. Not only because youre funny, charismatic and entertaining, its also because youre a thinker. I could really feel how much time and thought youve given this topic and thats what i appreciate the most. Thank You
I enjoy how real you are on this channel, and I do believe that it is necessary to drop social media for at least a little bit to regain yourself. You are a great example of someone who can do this and really be in touch with the real you. Keep being you Schlatt!
this video was posted a while ago, and much (so much) has changed in the world since then, but your words still ring true, schlatt. it's not uncommon to feel guilt like that. to have taken someone else for granted and then realized your mistake only after it's too late. the only thing to do is to make change in yourself change moving forward - to approach every person you meet or know in the future with the appreciation you wanted to show the person you lost. it's a difficult, emotionally challenging situation, but it ultimately puts us in a place to better show our love for those whose presence we value in our lives. i so appreciate your honesty and willingness to open up on this channel - it's a breath of fresh air in a world that so often seems saturated with people putting up that 'image'. thank you :)
This was very powerful, Jschlatt. Thank you for taking your time to help your community in such a way that you don’t have to. I hope you’re doing well, we’ll always be here for ya’ bud.
Everybody makes mistakes man. All you can hope to do is do better and learn from them. I don’t know if it means anything to you but I think your a fucking cool guy. You’re openness is refreshing and you’re very down to earth. Congrats on blowing up. No matter how bad you think you did in the past, you deserve every bit of it.
I wish i saw this channel sooner, i love when you get personal like this schlatt. I remember when you talked about it on stream. Its making me think about a lot of things more. Love ya schlatt
Thank you schlatt. I honestly feel like I can relate to you so much watching these videos. You being laid back and being reserved as a kid as well as putting on an image. I'm going through that right now at school. I feel like I have been trying to act more hyper and friendly towards people who I don't even like. At one point, people only thought of me as the funniest kid in the school and couldn't take me seriously when at home I was a whole other person.
Schlatt, I appreciate you for everything you've done, keep on making people laugh, and don't fall into any whole of drama that would cause your downfall.
I’m glad that schlatt is able to talk about his emotions without making it a sympathy story. He just talks about how he feels and how it has affected him
often, almost every week, i come back and watch this video. it really hits me, hard, every single time i listen to it. i can hear the sadness and regret in your voice and it really just. hurts me. i listen to it when i feel like im not myself. when i feel so so sad and still. it still hits me and makes me just think. that’s all
i’ve been coming back and watching these videos bc i’ve been so overwhelmed. i’m trans masc nonbinary, and I grew up watching a lot of the same content creators. Schlatt, one of your legacies is carrying this kind of content on. to me, youtube will always be about the videos that people make to entertain, to make others laugh. that’s one of the only reasons why i even go online anymore. thank you so much for the content, big guy. and thanks for still making me smile when i feel my lowest 💙
Schlatt I have such a large respect to you now after finding this channel, i only ever saw your stream highlights and i enjoyed them so much and i go searching for more of your stuff and i find this. This channel has brought me to tears multiple times in a day just binging it and i just want to say how much i respect you and everything you do to help these people you respond to and i want to thank you for the sheer amount of entertainment you provide to everyone. You are a great person.
watching this made me tear up a little , i loved etika and i love schlatt and hearing him talk about etika is the main reason as to why i got sad , but the fact that he’s right in saying that social media does consume people also got me . i know so many people who only care about numbers and i’ve even lost one of closest friends due to “clout” consuming him and it makes me happy knowing that one of my favorite content creators is willing to talk about such a serious issue . ily schlatt , keep up the great work
How someone can get so involved in a created persona that it causes unbearable distress is just heartbreaking to see, but when that’s what you’re seen as how can you differentiate between what is or isn’t you? And how can someone reach out to help when they’re not sure what is an act or not? There are thousands of people now that wished they could have helped, but what happened happened and the only thing left to do is remember the good times and hope we are able to step up the next time we see someone struggle. Etika will be missed.
its hard to prevent something when you haven't experienced the kind of situation before, etika's situation was probably the first for many to experience this and stuff. people only learn from experience, no matter if the experience is bad or not.
It’s great to see the more personal side of you, Schlatt. I watched your streams when they only had a couple hundred people watching at most, I was able to talk to you more and got to see what you were like (it was really fun trying to get you to see my message to you on the Minecraft Forums). You’re a huge inspiration to me, and your willingness to be so open to your community is how I strive to be with others. Don’t be afraid to be open on stream, to slow down and talk to everyone, even when the chat is flying by. Because, as funny as you are, your open-ness is what really hooked me. You’re an awesome person, Schlatt, and we all love you.
Schatt, you’re content has brought me a great amount of joy for the short time I’ve known of it. Seeing you do what you do has inspired me to do what I do and more. You always make me smile and I’m glad I discovered you.
I just found this channel and I'm so glad I did. I really genuinely appreciate you being so candid and open to your viewers. It's great seeing this side of you. Thank you.
I remember finding you and watching most your videos. After I watched them all I saw you were streaming and I watched. I commented and thought it was cool that you used DuckDuckGo too. I'm not gonna pretend that I really know who you are. I'm just your fan, but you make art. Your videos are really good. I'm glad that you're able to be this honest with your viewers. Keep it up. You have to admit your failures in order to improve. And as a fan, I'm glad you're able to improve. You have no idea what your tweet meant to Etika. It either could've been comedic relief for him or an insult. However, now we know that that tweet isn't you. Just be you to be full. It's called being beautiful. Thanks for the art. -Some kid who doesn't know you and you don't know but are connected through common ground
This video hits in the feels. To see a wholesome video like this in place where mature content would be really warms my heart. I have so much respect and gratitude towards you. You are amazing, please never stop popping.
Being a 4 year subscriber to Etika and watching all the problems pass before my eyes knowing I can't make a single effect makes my heart wrenching even thinking about it. Glad you're uploading on the weeklyslap even though it's way bigger that 300 subs now. I've struggled with mental health and seeing Etika pass inspired me to work harder it find my meaning in my life even at such a young age. Thank you Schlatt, you've made me have amazing memories and laughter at the worse of times in my life.
Love ya Schlatt. Watching these videos make me realize that being open with yourself is a lot healthier then keeping everything inside. I hope you're doing good man. Thanks for the content!
i really enjoy just hearing you talk. like shitposts and shit aside, just hearing your opinions and being able to hear you freely talk about whatevers on your mind. we appreciate you
Hey, I just gotta say, thanks man. You already are a great entertainer, youre hilarious, but you're also so genuine of a person. I really admire your honesty with us and yourself; you're a great person. You deserve to be where you are, and I support what you're doing. Thanks.
I really enjoy this side of you Schlatt, (i still enjoy your other content and funny hahahs) it shows how honest you can really be and how true you are to yourself and it is important to talk about this stuff instead of having it build up over time. Your other videos show you having fun and screaming and putting up an image of immaturity that everyone loves but I really look forward to theweeklyslap because it shows that you are a human and it helps us as your viewers to know what's happening in your life and career. I never personally watched Etika's streams but i know for a fact he was a great man that loved a lot and he put an image for himself just like you are. All we ask as viewers is you don't become afraid of your own self and talk to us so we can help you. We love you Schlatt and we'll continue to support you
Yes! I am going to watch the crap out of this. Thankyou schlatt Edit* this was a great video schlatt, it means alot to me and your fans to see the honest/reasonable side of you. I prefer chill schlatt over funny mic schlatt any day of the week
Your persona is always entertaining but it's definitely important to distinguish it's an act; to expect someone to be "acting" near every moment of their daily life just to improve their presence is insane. I love your videos on the main and streams, but I also respect you and enjoy hearing your thoughts as a person. Even these videos are filtered, (they aren't gonna post themselves) they seem to glimpse into who you are as a person, and your thoughts on the past and mistakes you feel you've made. It's real and it's important to remember "entertainers" are people. Maybe you aren't exactly proud of every moment and decision you've made in the past, particularly in line of chasing succsss, but recognizing that is what allows you to improve for the future. Idk, I've been trying to write a coherent comment for a while and I dunno if this is worth anything, but seeing these types of videos always make me feel like Im part of a conversation and I think that's something special. Keep it real schlatt, congrats on all your success (you deserve it) ❤️
I really enjoy this type of content Schlatt, thank you for maintaining this channel and letting us have this more serious view in to who you are. It’s nice to have a real grounded person to watch.
I found you when Captainsparklez started out on SMP. I spread out into watching You, Carson, and Connor. I've never laughed as much as I did when I watched all of you hanging out. And seeing this kind of video, I understand that some people just aren't interested or prepared to think or hear about this kind of thing, especially from someone who they just see as a bit of a comedian. I really appreciate you making this, even if it helps anyone, even including you hopefully, in the tiniest way is worth it. Appearances are hard to keep up when there are things that need to be said, and people should realize that saying it is important. Thanks Schlatt.
You’ve helped me come to a better conclusion on how I act and how really on the internet I’m a different person. I realize now that I’m gonna regret so many decisions I made either recently or in the past because I thought that being a certain way would make me more like able to my peers and maybe my self worth would improve. Thanks for giving a voice of wisdom in my time of need
Hi Schlatt, I hope you can upload on here more. I'm going to be honest, I think this is my favorite content from you. I love a good laugh, but these videos are so inspiring and genuine. I hope you never feel like you have to keep up with a Persona again. And if anyone's reading this comment, have a great day :)
I love this side of you, man, as well as the funny side of you. Thank you for being genuine and keeping it real. You seem liked a great guy and I really enjoy seeing this serious stuff.
this video is greatly appreciated by me. it is nice to hear someone have some real talk about situations. love you schlatt no matter what type of content you make, you’re an entertaining guy 💕
Crazy to think that jschlatt really opens up to us on this channel (what he has in mind etc.) and is basically a different person on SMPLive or the main channel.
There's a reason I'm subbed to both the main channel and this one, and that's because I enjoy who you are. Not just the funny lines and editing bits on the main channel, but the willingness to be open and frank with your viewers as well over here. I know people spout it a million times, schlatt, but do what you wanna do, and what makes you happy. That's all that matters at the end of the day, ad we'll be here to both enjoy your company and help you along best we can.
I don't have much to say except thank you for posting this. I think if we all had the chance we could go back and tell the man that we cared for him not just as an entertainer but as a person as well. And I think the same can be said about you Mr schlatt. I'm glad you have a personal channel where you can talk about subjects very maturely.
Im glad I found this channel (shame on me for not following him everywhere I know.) But you really spoke your mind so freely. I appreciate this side of you.
Thank you for saying this, it’s so easy to get caught up in who you’re trying to be and thinking about how others will react to everything you do. It’s nice to take it slow and really think through and talk about problems and things that we can all improve on. I love you man.
Schlatt I love you man. As most people, I found you through your “Tribute” videos and ever since the first time I have watched a Tribute to Minecraft, you are the only channel that, in the past couple of months, has helped me and made my day better every time you upload. Most of the things I consume on youtube are mindless and don’t really add anything to my life. But you are different, whether it be the you that you portray yourself on SMPLive or in these types of videos. Some of the things that you have said in this video remind me of myself, having a persona out in public and being myself in private. You summed up my thoughts about being this two faced person in this video and I love it for that. I just wanna thank you for helping me and all these other people to have better days or weeks just through watching your videos. I love you man.
I think this channel is a good way to express yourself and 'drop your image'. It's nice to hear through this channel you can express yourself and put your own persona on a shelf to talk to your audience. I really enjoy your content and the person you are, persona or not, I think most people would agree. Thank you for putting yourself out there and speaking about yourself here.
Dropping an image can be very hard, especially on this type of platform. There are tons of fans that idolize people and feel like they can only act a certain way because of the way that they portray themselves. The fact that you are talking about this is amazing, Schlatt. It shows that you are strong enough to drop the funny persona and talk about serious issues, which most UA-camrs struggle with. I have endless respect for you. ❤️
i haven’t been a viewer long, but i’ve been here long enough to know that you’re such a genuine person. in these videos, when you sit down and you’re just your authentic self, it is so appreciated and respected. a lot of people don’t have the courage to show their true self, but you do. we loved your videos and streams before and we love them now :)
I'll be honest, you are my favorite content creator. The streams make me laugh. The main channel makes me laugh and inspires me to improve my own self. This channel gives me important insight and really is a breath of fresh air in my feed. You are one of the most honest and talented content creators I have watched. I'm proud to be a subscriber of yours. Make sure you make time in your life outside of the persona, and I trust you enough as a person to do that. I don't know if you'll actually read this, but I just needed to say this.
I had heard you talk about this while watching you’re stream. It honestly surprised me because, as someone who only knew you from the start of SMP, I hadn’t seen that genuine side yet. It honestly makes you my favorite content creator. It’s a tragic event, the very least we can do as a community is to learn and make sure others don’t find themselves in the same spot and you educating your fans just by talking about it genuinely for a couple minutes really does help. The psychology behind personas is something that I really do hope more creators look into. Like you said, some don’t even know that they may need help. I just wanted to let you know that you are appreciated and I really appreciate you talking genuinely. I really do hope there’s a very bright future for you. Not just in numbers, in a nice community, in friends, in health, and most importantly in happiness. 💛
It feels a bit weird with this video having less then 10K views. It's like a channel that isn't that small, but isn't that big either. It's the middle. I really do appreciate you making this video. I don't know how young you were when you were watching those youtubers, but I'm a bit young myself so I can probably relate with what age you were during that time. I don't know if I'm ever gonna continue trying to edit videos to improve myself but I can best tell you that you have left an impression on me, most importantly because of theweeklyslap; philosophy and creativity. I dont remember how long ago it was, but I just remember that your pfp looked like a simular youtuber, or at least simular to the youtubers sort of design. I think it was about overwatch, I forgot, but I just knew you for a long little. I never really watched your videos but I always had you on the back of my mind. Keep doing this shit jschlatt, you seem really down to earth in an environment where the humor just masks the problems that people deny facing, and in where everyone really doesn't know everything.
Realizing how your previous actions went against your own moral code is an unspeakably awful feeling, but it’s the greatest motivation to change. No clue who you are or what you do, but at a human-to-human level, I have nothing but respect for you. Good luck, man.
I like you jshlatt because you can be a really funny guy and a serious one at the same time, i find that really special and unique. As a new fan of yours ( i consider myself a new fan because i only started following you two weeks ago) i hope you will continue to do this kind of videos. And remember guys if you need help just ask for It and don't do the same mistakes etika did, peace.
I Sympathize with your situation, it’s the mentality that not keeping this persona you create for yourself as a content creator or someone who relies on social media for income is unheard of, and if you break the act, you are gonna be losing everything that makes you as popular as you are. and the cost of this is that putting on an act is that you separate the actual things you feel internally from what is actually being shown, a good example of this is Adam, Skydoesminecraft, an individual who wanted to keep his grasp on the Minecraft community intact at the cost of his own mental well being, he kept making children oriented content which he didn’t really wanna do anymore so he got out of it. it can hurt people, I forget the name of that vlogging couple who would make one new video every single day which at one point a few years ago started heavily affecting their relationship so they had to get out of it. Your point of view as someone who has become so popular so quickly puts a lot of stress in you to try and keep the formula efficient, to keep people coming back for more, I’m sure Carson’s input recently has helped with the weight on your shoulders a little bit, ensuring that some new people will be coming to your streams if the viewer count was to get a little low. I understand what you’ve been working through and why you feel the way you do, etikas situation is horrible and trying to maintain an audience like that I can only imagine is draining on many levels. These more sincere form of videos you make on this channel that goes towards a smaller net of people is a great way of keeping the community informed with what’s going on behind the LOLFUNNYMIC next time you talk about Dick and Balls on stream, So keep doing this if you got stuff to get off your chest. My only hope so that you keep doing what you wanna do, while maintaining that work, life balance that everyone needs, taking a break when necessary for you and not when it works for 1,600 random people across the country.
schlatt, please keep making more serious videos as they are just one of my most favorite things to watch from you, i know that may sound weird but the fact that a youtuber has a channel just essentially vent their thoughts through a video is just such a refresher, it reminds me that you are a lot more than the persona that you have to keep up. i hope you stay safe and happy on the internet.
You are appreciated, and you are looked up to. I know this isnt really what needs to be heard after a video like this, but its really just damn good and heartening that you can make videos like this. Thank you Schlatt.
Schlatt, you’re loved. Not just your image, but you, your honesty and willingness to be open with your fans. People like you regardless of a image or persona. If you ever need help, please pursue it

^^^^^^
Dude it's seriously uncanny how relatable he tends to be despite being a big "haha funny XD man."
He slips into and out of that amiable and charismatic personality so easily he's going places for sure.
I really appreciate this channel keep up the work schlatt
Damn, this slap is feeling more like a kick... I am very appreciative of these talks, please don’t stop.
These videos remind me of Seananners really old cod commentaries where he'd just talk and be really open. I love your stuff schlatt. Thanks for these videos man
Colin seananners, hutch and sark, those were the good old days.
I miss nanners
Ironically enough, those videos from Nanners are the main inspiration for this channel.

hey schlatt, i’ve just been through one of the worst weeks of my life, and when i pull up youtube to try and distract myself from my own thoughts, this is in my recommended. i know it’s been nearly a year since this was posted, but you have made me feel understood today, for the first time in months. thank you, sir.
this video was too true, all of us who kid on etika all feel bad. sometimes we forget that we are all people and social media changed that
Take it as a lesson, man.
Yea. It just seems like there’s only negativity on the platform. Like it always has to be bad
You can really hear the difference from stream/funny j and serious j I hope you’re doing well schlatt
Honestly, I’m really sad about the etika situation, it really hit me hard because he was my favorite streamer. I’m so glad that you uploaded this video schlatt.
schlatt, i know im speaking for a lot of people when i say that we love you for YOU. the funny mic stream persona is great, true, but i appreciate this version just as much, if not more. i believe that a lot of your fans (especially the ones on this channel) appreciate you just talking like this. ik that im gonna support you with either version, but please stay safe with it. we all love you
Holy shit man, such a good video, it’s so refreshing to see this side of you. Thank you
Schlatt your content recently has made me so happy you won’t believe how excited I get for a stream whenever I get that notification I drop everything. you have been an inspiration to me to be more open and be who I want to be you inspire me to do whatever I want even if that is just streaming a game and getting 0 viewers I love you and keep doing what you want to do you inspire me and a ton of others
Always happy to watch these videos, its amazing to hear people's real lives and struggles online.
I genuinely think etikas death will have a lasting impact on a lot of creators, watching his last video felt a lot like looking into a mirror for me
It’s a mirror for all of us.
Hey when u gonna post something new?
Roberto Marú bruh wtf man
This channel is very different from your other content, and tbh this is just amazing. I love hearing a more genuine and honest side of you.
Your videos make me laugh like no others, but this is definitely important content and I love it.
Etika was such a great guy, This hurt me so much I just wish i could of been there to say its ok
JadynPlayzMC I wish to
You can't save everyone, that's just how it is. Etika was a great guy, and wherever he is now I wish him the best of luck.
Schlatt you'vr actually made me tear up for someone I haven't even heard of just because of your descriptions on how this person has brought joy to so many people and wow I'm in awe.
I hope this social media stuff doesn't give you an overwhelming amount of stress man
Hope you're doing well
Its so nice to just listen to someone talk. No script, just from the heart.
“I don’t have much to complain about, right?” hope he doesn’t feel like he can’t complain because he’s in a good position.
Schlatt perhaps you were a commentator. But now you’re a preacher. Thanks for blessing my feed guy.
Shlatt, everyone here loves the real you and your image. Thank you for everything.
Keep being you Schlatt!
this video was posted a while ago, and much (so much) has changed in the world since then, but your words still ring true, schlatt. it's not uncommon to feel guilt like that. to have taken someone else for granted and then realized your mistake only after it's too late. the only thing to do is to make change in yourself change moving forward - to approach every person you meet or know in the future with the appreciation you wanted to show the person you lost. it's a difficult, emotionally challenging situation, but it ultimately puts us in a place to better show our love for those whose presence we value in our lives. i so appreciate your honesty and willingness to open up on this channel - it's a breath of fresh air in a world that so often seems saturated with people putting up that 'image'. thank you :)
it’s refreshing to see someone who’s able to be open with their audience, and i wanna thank you for that, seriously. love you dude, stay well
This was very powerful, Jschlatt.

He just talks about how he feels and how it has affected him

i’ve been coming back and watching these videos bc i’ve been so overwhelmed. i’m trans masc nonbinary, and I grew up watching a lot of the same content creators. watching this made me tear up a little , i loved etika and i love schlatt and hearing him talk about etika is the main reason as to why i got sad , but the fact that he’s right in saying that social media does consume people also got me . i know so many people who only care about numbers and i’ve even lost one of closest friends due to “clout” consuming him and it makes me happy knowing that one of my favorite content creators is willing to talk about such a serious issue . ily schlatt , keep up the great work

Being a 4 year subscriber to Etika and watching all the problems pass before my eyes knowing I can't make a single effect makes my heart wrenching even thinking about it. Glad you're uploading on the weeklyslap even though it's way bigger that 300 subs now.
Thankyou schlatt
Edit* this was a great video schlatt, it means alot to me and your fans to see the honest/reasonable side of you.
Keep it real schlatt, congrats on all your success (you deserve it) ❤️
A persona you have to live up to basically. You build up a character for yourself instead of being your genuine self.
Couldn’t have said it better myself man.
Crazy to think that jschlatt really opens up to us on this channel (what he has in mind etc.) and is basically a different person on SMPLive or the main channel.
it takes hella guts to open up like this, major respect homie
Bless you schlatt, thanks for posting on this channel about this.
Genuinely love this type of content schlatt. Please do this more often. It’s really cool how open and shit you are.
I wish there were more content creators like these, to be honest.
Appreciate your openness here, I can definitely apply this lesson to myself too.
My only hope so that you keep doing what you wanna do, while maintaining that work, life balance that everyone needs, taking a break when necessary for you and not when it works for 1,600 random people across the country.
schlatt, please keep making more serious videos as they are just one of my most favorite things to watch from you, i know that may sound weird but the fact that a youtuber has a channel just essentially vent their thoughts through a video is just such a refresher, it reminds me that you are a lot more than the persona that you have to keep up. i hope you stay safe and happy on the internet.
serious schlatt really is something special.
You are appreciated, and you are looked up to. I know this isnt really what needs to be heard after a video like this, but its really just damn good and heartening that you can make videos like this. Thank you Schlatt.
