One thing I do is I hunt Friday Saturday and Sunday opening day I go in blind but here in Texas most of our shooting times are over at no one so I’ll pack up and scout the area I choose to hunt and try to pick the best spot for the next day and if I just don’t find anything at all I’ll pick a new spot and repeat
And I know this next thing may be frowned upon in the community but I use tips I see online and on forums to find places to go what I mean by that is I don’t burn peoples spots but If I see a that a post says they hunted an are around me I will choose one of my spots closest to that area
You must have found our honey hole. A stock pound right off a river with a high bluff that runs into a reservoir. That's why you get on the ducks knowing where to look. If you ever get this way, let us know. 🙂
Yeah, that sounds like a perfect spot. Those are rare but almost a guarantee to get you traffic it seems. Don't know where your located but I always enjoy meeting and hunting with new people.
@@ChasingGreen I remember one of the first videos of yours I watched you were scouting some oxbows on Trusten holder and hunted those gadwalls that wouldn’t work right. We ran into the same issue over there
Great info as always.hunted oxbows in ga last year but have alot of gators here.end of season gets cold but usually have high water then and a lot harder if not impossible to get to.
Way way too excited for duck season. Gonna limit out every hunt with my chasing green echo call 😂
Glad to have y’all back, can’t wait to see what’s next.
It’s legit hard to find time to scout when you work all week without sacrificing weekends that you normally hunt. Thanks for the advice 👍🏻
