    Great review of the washer. Instead of buying the whole washer, I just bought the agitator. I can use this in the bathroom sink to handwash a couple of small items. I can also use this in a kitchen sink to aerate the sudsy water to help lift of stuck-on grime on my dishes. I don't have a dishwasher so this is my simple alternative product.

    the little washing machine could be helpful for washing cleaning rags/ mop pads or reusable cotton rounds and makeup remover cloths . also if you use the reusable/ washable period panties/ pads, maybe if you use cloth diapers. basically anything that you may not want to mix with normal laundry

    Do you have any cleaning tips for smelly tennis shoes (no washing machine)?

    • @laurendavis5050
      @laurendavis5050 10 місяців тому +1

      Hydrogen Peroxide in a spray bottle (re-purposing dawn platinum or lysol mist bottles for misting cleaners like this is helpful). Mist the inside of the shoe until evenly coated in toe area, midfoot area, and heel area. Let dry for about 45min then Sprinkle baking soda inside the shoe and coat inside well. Let sit outside in a shaded buy dry area for 24-36hrs ( you can add drops of essential or fragrance oils to larger batches of baking soda to use all over your home and not just stinky shoes). If your worried about the Peroxide discoloring the inside of the shoe dilute it 2p h.p./1p Distilled water.
      Scented Baking Soda
      Ratio I use is 4ml oils/.75-1c baking soda. Mix very well. Place in a sturdy plastic container or mason jar (glass is preferred). If in a container just use a disposable spoon to Sprinkle or apply to carpet, upholstery, pet beds, bottom of garbage bins, shoe insoles, washing laundry, etc.
      Bonus* the salt content and certain essential oils will help either kill or repel many household insects and pests. The salt will dehydrate and kill both flea larvae and adult fleas.

    Hi Andrea! I have the portable washing machine. I live in an apartment building ihave to use the laundromat for my clothing. This little gadget is great for washing my cleaning rags so I don’t have to throw them in with my clothing. You’d be surprised how clean my rags get and yes, the water is filthy. the problem I have is removing the spinner from the machine. I’ve gone on UA-cam several times watched several videos to no avail. Can you help with teaching the removal of the spinner? Thank you love your videos.

      Try 90% rubbing alcohol and a magic eraser( erasers are just 2000 grit sand paper). You could also try using something with some grit to it like glass cooktop cleaner and the cheap thin "original scotch-brite" type sponges. 100% acetone and a scotch-brite pad. Just be cautious and test and always rinse the areas WELL with clean water and clean scotch-brite pad.
      The thing about heat is that it SETS IN STAINS, PAINTS/COLORS, OR EVEN ADHESIVES. Since the inside of washers and dryers are mostly metal you should be able to remove it just make sure you do tests with products on a small area and rinse well with clean water. Especially with the acetone.

    I don't know if anybody has ever addressed this before but, is anyone else bothered by the crumbs at the bottom of the toaster ? There are crumbs that don't make it down to the crumb tray and therefore nothing I have used loosens them enough to come out. Andrea please tell me you are type A more than me and you have thought about this problem and found a solution & hopefully a great tool to reach down there!
