    Great interview.
To summarize. Africa needs to utilize their 2 main advantages; 1) Their young population and 2 their natural resources. Africa needs to focus on light manufacturing of labor intensive products. Africa needs to have a market economy and have an environment & government that makes it easy for foreign direct investments to take place. This could be done through things like Special Economic Zones like those established in Ethiopia & Rwanda. My personal thoughts... Africans should also take advantage of technology to leapfrog things into gear. For example... Education through the internet and become a cashless society which runs on digital currency. This would allow basic education standards to reach the masses on a very cheap scale and it would also improve the business environment (i.e registering a business would only take 1 day via the internet, taxes would be automatically deducted through software apps, the nations would be able to take taxes from citizens and include everyone into the formal economy and lastly, but possibly one of the most important reasons; finally be able to tackle corruption and lack of accountability - since everything will have a digital footprint).
