The AGM G2 and Doogee have the same thermal image processor 256x192. The Doogee has a fusion overlay. Why can't anyone get it correct. I guess they just read the specs and talk about. Some one needs to actually operate these phone and then give a true review. AGM is very clear about their thermal and lense size. Doogee claims to have 1440x1080 thermal imaging which doesn't exist. They are claiming the fusion imaging as thermal is 256x192. They never state the lense size which is crucial to performance.
I have only watched this one video you made, but you are the best with information that I have ever seen or heard! There’s no ego involved in the introduction you have very clear points and comparisons. You have brought together all the important facts in a very understandable and a similar for just about anybody! I’m going to watch some more of your videos, but your work is on fire. Thank you for producing this content.
The Doogee is not looking very rugged, a glass back ? Gorilla glass or not, glass is glass, plastic or polycarbonate is way way stronger than glass, These rugged phone companies are making their phones too much like regular delicate Galaxy or IPhone, I miss the old rugged phones with physical screen buttons and smaller one hand friendly screens.
What are the modes on the thermal on the fhones? UleFone has other types. That you have not listed Beside the app in 18t. In the flir app then palette there a night palette.18t and 18t-u works in Canada on both bell and rogers. Also what ones do under water camera? 18t does. Also in 18t there a tracker for tags. Best part is on the alarts.
what bothers me about all of these is the low battery capacity. I want rugged phones specifically for their high battery life. Imagine being dependand on GPS to find your way only to have your phone run empty on you. granted the doogee V31GT has a capacity of 10800mah .. but that is still worse than plenty of other rugged phones. So far I havent seen one high capacity flagship come with thermal imaging. I wouldve loved to see, for example, the VMAX come with it. or the S100 pro. granted both got active night vision but thats just not as useful as thermal imaging. id gladly have swapped them out on both.
@@absolute___zero I have been using the power armor 18T ultra for a week now. Some good and bad feedback from it. The camera is definitely better than my AGM glory pro but I'm getting less battery life on this 9600mah battery than the 6380mah battery on the AGM?
If this had been Top 7, it would have. It basically came down to Power Armor 19T vs Raptor, which boiled down to FLIR vs unspecified thermal camera. Do you think I should have put the Raptor in instead of the Power Armor 19T? Here's how I determined what made it into this video. I always try to have at least one spot in my videos be reserved for a budget-friendly option, which was the BV8900 in this video. And I don't see the Raptor being better than the G2 Guardian, Conquest S23, and V20 Pro, largely because of the Raptor's Helio G99 chipset and because it's not 5G. So that brought it down to Raptor vs Power Armor 19T. I picked the Power Armor 19T because it has a FLIR thermal camera, and IIIF150 doesn't specify what kind of thermal camera is in the Raptor. And since they don't specify the camera type, I'm guessing it's not a FLIR. And it seems like FLIR gives better quality than other thermal sensors.
I've crushed my s22 ultra at work, in the middle of nowhere, local repair shop asks for 400 usd to replace screen... then I realized that I needed a rugged phone... with some features, of course.... Why nobody can make one phone that will have everything??? 😢 Which one to buy???
Go with the iiif150 Raptor, top of the line InfiRay 256x192 ir Sensor plus sports a 64MP night vision cam with ir floodlight. Run this thing for 4 months now and love it.
@@michaeltheron1610 I checked them all out, yes :D Dogee´s chip is just not great (Mediatek 700), plus I think that their thermal image sensor is more clickbait than actually useful (works better at great distance but not short distance). I´d say, that the PowerArmor 18T is currently the best value for money rugged phone . But I decided to purchase the Conquest S23, because it has ALL the sensors :D
The Conquest quality is better than the Ulefone. I had a Conquest S20 and noticed the better quality . But when I wanted a Thermal camera. I went with Ulefone simply because i couldn’t afford the Conquest.
My only problems with the V20 is the relatively slow processor when compared with the others and the lack of a pressure sensor on pretty much any Doogee. I noticed the lack of a barometer when I had a Doogee S96 and it wouldn’t track my altitude when I was using my fitness tracker. In fact, that’s more of an issue than the processor.

Actual Doogee V20 PRO resolution of thermal camera is 256x192, not 1440x1080 as claimed. But 25hz is improvement. MWIR spectrum is more preferable. Cat s62 pro has highest resolution thermal camera
@@RynaxAlien I call BS on that. Cats own webpage for S62 Pro doesnt state res, and the sensor used comes also in a 160x120 variant. I would be betting, if the manufacturer doesnt dare to specify the res, its not because its the top of the line, but the bottom of the barrel variant.

This comparison video are very good with very detailed explanation, unlike others who just randomly dropped a list without any reason

it has suspiciously low price for the quality claimed, I personally prefer to avoid these kind of offers, PowerArmor 19T is a better choice imho.
