I am with you all the way, as a die hard rock and metal fan, Wagakki Band was an unexpected pleasure and the good vibes they give are awesome. I am so glad I fell down this rabbit hole.
Thank you for continuing to react to Wagakki Band. Like you, they make me happy. I play their videos all day while painting. I know you will get to some videos from CC W channel which includes lyrics. Another thing he does in desription box is list who composed the song, lyrics, and arranger. He says on this one that it is composed and lyrics by (vocal). He means Yuko. Other songs that are by Machiiya will say ( guitar, vocals). Songs by Asa will say (Bass). Songs by Kurona will say (Wadaiko). Most of the songs are arranged by Machiya. From watching many videos and reading comments, I believe Machiya helps develop the guitars he uses from the Sago company. He has guitars with four extra frets and at least one with seven strings. He uses baritone guitars so as to not overwhelm the traditional instruments. I know nothing about instruments, so maybe this will mean more to you. I also believe he has a lot to do with the mixing/ sound engineering so each instrument is heard properly. Someone commented that they are all geniuses. I don't doubt that. Looking forward to your next reaction.
I will definitely can’t wait to get to my next reaction from them they are so incredible. This journey has only just begun many more reactions coming soon
I love this song. Machiya and Yuko have so much vocal chemistry and stage chemistry, but my favorite part of at least this live version is the shamisen and shakuhachi duet in the middle. I think the thing that amazes me about Wagakki Band the most is how they can take any combination of their eight members and produce something that sounds unique and intriguing. Plus, everyone gets their spotlight and always looks like they're having fun. As far as a recommendation goes, I'd like to recommend something I may have recommended before. If I have, I apologize. It's "Toono monogatari: Kyuuyon" by Wagakki Band and is more of a performance than a song (or two songs), but it's a lot of fun to watch. ua-cam.com/video/hLYPvErslH8/v-deo.html
Yuko has a UA-cam channel. She just posted this. She is singing in her hotel room the song is “Albatross” by Machiya and there are a few performances of it you can find., including the Premium Symphonic Night. She has been doing these acapella videos this week. ua-cam.com/video/jUnHoeTEebQ/v-deo.html
