I have a question: what does Rick mean when he said, "suicide cannot steal your salvation"? I am kind of shocked...when a person choose to suicide, he/she actually refuses to accept salvation, isn't it?

Hi Kelly, John 15 talks about Jesus' call to love, but we know from Paul's letters that we are called to love God first and foremost as well. Our initial focus from God is not to directly fulfill the law by our own doing. Rather, in our love for God, we will desire Christ to be glorified as the law had been purposed for. All he wants is our love, not our law-keeping; from our love for Him comes new life and new living, renewed purpose and new calling that directs and centers our paths.

This is really funny!😂Why would someone make him their shepherd? The sheep are not his kids! He does not take care of the sheep because of any kindness. He takes care of them, so that he can either sell or kill and eat them! What kind of a god is that?
@@alexisdaniels1017 No. It’s not about believing. It is about sheep and shepherd. A shepherd will never not kill his sheep, or sell it to those who will then kill it. The only reason the shepherd protects his sheep is so that he does not incur any loss. So, even for those who believe, shepherd is a very bad metaphor.
Very good metaphors used to describe Jesus' compassion, empathy and sympathy towards HIS flock and sheep.
