Romantic Sandor Sturbl stunned the audience and his girlfriend as he popped the question to Scots co-star Lilly-Jane Young as they performed at the Hydro in Glasgow.
It was the ultimate fairytale ending -- Peter Pan proposing to Wendy on stage.
Sandor Sturbl, who plays Peter in a new musical of the classic tale, got down on one knee near the end of a performance at the Hydro in Glasgow.
And the audience erupted in cheers when Lilly-Jane Young, who plays Wendy Darling, said: "Yes" right away.

I just saw this couple in this show in Singapore and their love is so palpable and real on stage! I cried while i saw this - i can only imagine how real their love is off stage. Good for them! I wish them truly a happy long married life together!

I love proposals like this, because they're uncommon and very touching. To declare ones love in front of hundreds or even thousands of people, you know they're confident enough in their mate's love. If two people have a bond such as theirs, it should be celebrated. I wish these two happiness. :)
and for them it is their job to be on stage, so both can handle it. NOt like some random guy out of the audience wants to be on stage for this question. Not all people can handle the pressure on stage....( perhaps some girls run away from the proposal that way)

As someone who just played Hook, this is so awesome.
You see actors try to portray emotions such as the surprise of being proposed to often, but as best as we try, it's impossible to accurately portray that pure of an emotional response like that on stage. The real thing is just too amazing, and the pure uncontrollable joy you can see in her is just so giddy-inducing.
Peter Pan has always been my favorite and from a very young age all i ever wanted was for Peter Pan to come and take me away to Neverland If i was that Wendy all of my childhood dreams would have come true. So sweet loved it!!
